Gavin skipped football practice Thursday because he wanted to rest since he wasn't feeling 100%. That day I didn't visit my grandma early.. and I really did planned to let her rest but after talking to one of my aunts, it seemed like I should go. We set sailed to the hospital shortly after 5 and was hungry once we finished spending a little time w/ my grandma. There were 2 food trucks (one seemed to be dessert-oriented). Service was pleasant. They accept cards which is a huge plus! We ordered no carne (vegetarian) burrito, a carne asada nachos and a regular chicken burrito for Gavin. Spicy salsa had a little heat, very good and not too acidic. My burrito was delicious. I am leaning more towards a vegetarian diet since my grandma was admitted to the hospital. It's a Buddhist thing. Been coming to the hospital everyday since last Tuesday. I am grateful that there are options to eat other than hospital food. I have never been to the cafeteria, so I cannot compare but who can turn down good food from a food truck? I love the service!

Grabbed lunch from this mexican food truck while attending Viva CalleSJ this past weekend. Got the steak quesadilla with sour cream on the side, which also comes with your choice of spicy or mild salsa (I got the mild of course), as well as pico de gallo and lettuce. The quesadilla was kinda small but tasty, with a good amount of delicious melted cheese and flavorful meat. The order line and wait for my food were quick, and the lady  who helped me was super sweet and provided excellent service.

What's good:- asada fries- grilled chicken salad- tacos tacos tacos- birria- if you love the drippings, grab extra napkins!- burritos - one of my co-workers likes to add extra green salsa inside. Try it out and tell me what you think!Great food. Even better prices!

Solid enchilada verdeCarmina is so nice. Remembers my friend; puts her name on her to go plate. My colleagues recommended this truck and the food was fantastic. Did not disappoint.

El Camaleón Mobile Kitchen is a popular food truck. It can get quite loud due to construction and the road is bustling with cars. Carmina, the lady who takes orders, is always friendly and presents a kind smile despite how busy she always gets. I've tried their burritos, quesadillas and frescas. Their food is flavorful and portions are filling. During lunch on weekdays, they park across from Wendy's on Bascom Ave. Wait time can be a while due to the amount of orders they get, but they do their best to get their orders out as soon as they can. If you ever see them, give them a try!

One of my favorite go to lunch trucks... my friends and at work usually call in and order the shrimp cocktail... it is the best!! Good amount of food for the cost. Always busy. Definitely a work lunch staple

I got the nacho fries with grilled fish on top (they have fish only on Fridays) and it was so darn good. This was a special request and it was perfect. I also asked for the fries extra crispy and they made that happen. Loved the customer service and the execution was flawless. The only negative was that I didn't take any photos. Will be sure to do that next time! Please also open up your business on Google Maps so we can rate you there as well, and so people can more readily find ya'll :)

This truck gets rave reviews, maybe it was an off day? I ordered a regular pastor burrito, price point is fair but that's about it for me. I ate the whole thing, which means the burrito was small, I normally have almost half a burrito left when I go to other taquerias. Flavor of the meat was meh, I felt the same way about the rice and beans..... this is a pass for me.

Carmina graciously agreed to vend at a neighborhood block party; she was communicative, prompt to arrive and provided excellent customer service for our event. The food was delicious and our guests were very happy with everything they ordered. I tried various tacos, the Quesabirrias and nachos - all very delicious. I highly recommend El Camaleon for your catering needs and of course, for a delicious meal anytime you visit the truck!Many thanks, Carmina!!

This truck is right by my campus and near my bus stop, so I'm always tempted to grab a couple tacos before I head home. The lady is super nice and the tacos are one of the best in the area! They do not skimp on the meat and is well worth $3.50 a piece!
