Drooling kitchen - Milpitas

I've been on the hunt for the best Taiwanese braised pork rice. I came across Drooling Kitchen on my search in Yelp. There's no actual store but you can order online and choose from either pick up or delivery. The place wasn't far from me so I went to pick up.The arrangements are done through text and payment is done by a few apps and cash. Cash is easier to handle with if you have it handy which I did. When making the order, place ahead of time so you can confirm pick up time with them. The owner said it wouldn't take long and it didn't. Picking up was easy to park on the side and messaging her that you've arrived. The braised pork was a decent portion of pork, veggies and rice. The egg I thought was going to be the typical tea egg but it was a fried egg instead. The pork and sauce were sweet and tasty. The veggie was light tasting so healthy to consume. Rice was cooked fine. Not dry or too moist. It was worth trying this braised pork rice from this new business. I'd order again if I'm in the mood for it.

Food was delivered pretty fast and it was still hot! Loved the little pickled radish on the braised pork bowl.

My friend recommended me their Taiwanese chicken rice. It's really good. Probably the Best Taiwanese chicken rice in the area. Also, I like their popcorn chicken!

Does this place even exist? Tried contacting them several times over the past few years, never once did they answer texts or pickup the phone. Are their friends / family posting fake reviews for them?Or maybe they're satisfied with the customers they already have, who are on some sort of VIP list or group chat with the business owner, and could care less about getting more business from new customers.Thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and support a local Taiwanese business, but I'll be recommending others to avoid them instead.

Food ok. Might look like it's pretty cheap for what they offer, but the portions real small.

The chicken rice is soooo good makes me feel I'm in Taiwan. The sauce should be specifically mentioned, which is the soul of the food! And the braised pork rice is amazing!! It smells really good and the texture is just perfect, not oily but juicy!! Would definitely order again and again
