Good selection of various flavored donuts, including crullers, cronuts, and donut holes. As one of the only (if not only) stores open 24 hrs in Cupertino, this hits the spot late at night. Donuts are priced very reasonably (especially considering inflation). The workers here are friendly and seem to be having a good time even as we came in at midnight. For a late night donut session, the vibes here are great. It really feels like the perfect local stop for a midnight snack.

24/7 donuts? Say lessThis is definitely my go-to donut shop in the South Bay. There is a small parking lot in the back, but it's usually not crowded. The variety is insane ranging from bear claws to cronuts to sandwiches. I love their simple original glaze donuts and donut holes. Other good notable flavors would be the pistachio, chocolate, and cookies n cream. Psa: the donuts are biggg, but fluffy and will fill you up.

10250 N De Anza Blvd Cupertino, CA 95014Donut Wheel is a great place to stop and get your coffee and donut fix!I was there at 530pm on a weekday, taking a break from sitting in traffic on I-280. The place has a small parking lot in back, and is open 24-hours. At 530pm, the case was packed with all kinds of donuts. I asked for a 1/2 dozen for $15. These donuts aren't cheap, but they're big and soft! The coffees offered were Regular, Hazelnut, and French Roast. My donuts were fresh, soft and fluffy. I had a friendly chat with man working there. We talked about everything from the cost of living in the bay area, to where to get a good burrito. The interior looks a bit outdated, with several tables and booths. Donut Wheel is located on DeAnza Blvd, South of I-280, and just pass the Apple Infinite Loop Campus. So stop and take a quick break before getting on the road!

Was craving for a donut after dinner and came across this place on Yelp. They have parking on the back, place has a very local bakery vibe, has some seats. I got the chocolate glazed. The donut is little bigger than usual size you get at other places. The donut was good. Not great, not bad. It was definitely made the same day, so you can say it was fresh.I wish they labelled the donuts. There are so many variations that its not possible to ask the 'busy staff'. They were not friendly. But I'll go back for the donut!

This is not our go-to donut shop as it's farther away from home, but we've come here on several occasions, particularly when we have a late-night donut craving (they're open 24 hours). They have a really broad selection of donuts. Many of them are more gimmicky than traditional, such as cronuts, red velvet, and donuts topped with Fruity Pebbles or crushed Oreo cookies. But they have the more familiar ones, such and raised glazed, twists, buttermilks, chocolate glazed chocolate cake donuts, and old fashioned, plus things like croissants, bear claws, fritters, turnovers, jelly-filled, cinnamon rolls, etc. Basically, if you can't find something here that appeals to you then you're either too picky or are completely lost and just need directions back to the freeway. The donuts here are more expensive than many other places - for example, a buttermilk bar is $3.50 and one of their standard, nonfancy donuts is $2.50. The specialty donuts start at $4.50. The prices are clearly posted on the wall behind the counter. Though pricier than our regular place, I have to acknowledge that the donuts here are also larger, so maybe that justifies the price. Then again, nothing is truly overpriced if people are still willing to pay. It's donut economics. We always go for the traditional offerings. We haven't been disappointed yet, except for maybe a 2:00am foray which netted us donuts that probably had been sitting in the case for many hours. One thing we've noticed is that glazed twists and regular raised glazed aren't quite as yeasty as other shops - they're a little denser, not light and airy. It's still a good bite. They buttermilk donuts are quite substantial and moist all the way through.Service here has always been very friendly and attentive. No concerns there. It's a very good place as long as you're comfortable with the cost.

Updated 11/02/2024I've already shared that these are my kids favorite donuts... tasty, big, and an amazing assortment. What I neglected to mention was how good the service is. Nine times out of ten, it's a younger guy working behind the service counter. He is always friendly, polite, and efficient, even when he's busy.

I have to be careful here. As a T2 diabetic this place is love/hate for me. I avoided it for years, thinking that it is better that I don't know what goes on behind the front door, in order to avoid any future cravings that my pancreas can't handle. Well last week I needed something to stave off some recent family stress and slow myself down with a treat. We were in the neighborhood of this well-known gem and decided to stop in for "a" donut. Welcoming and friendly, large inside with endless racks of the most delicious-looking donuts. Once you see how big and tall and delicious these donuts are you will be so happy you stopped! So many variations to try! From glazed and covered with cereals like pebbles and fruit loops, to my favorite the boston creme pie (chocolate topped and filled with the most smooth, creamy and comforting custard) this place is amazing! I just immediately felt happier that I was taking time out to treat myself and turns out donuts ARE self-care for me! We tried a few over the next few days because we got 6 for the two of us. Uh oh yes I gained a few pounds because of it but I'll burn it off next week. Maybe. Who cares, it was absolutely worth it! Tried the boston cream, an old fashioned glazed (thick cakey goodness and glaze could be sweeter IMHO,) some nutty covered glazed one wife enjoyed, simple round and sugared ones filled with custard and one with lemon which was impressive- not too fake lemony sweet and just light as can be for a jelly, with a very true-to-fresh lemon taste. It was the simple yet different Creme Brûlée donut that left both of us in awe. We split this one and both agreed we'd go back and get 6 of just these next time! It was so impressive! I've never had a donut with that crispy of a shellac on the outside. It truly was crunchy and sweet just like the hard topping of a creme brûlée, in every bite! Then the filling...hands to the sky, that filling was divine! Different than the custard, it tasted like "baked in the oven in a bain marie" creme brûlée and had a texture that was thick and creamy. After 3 days, we are still thinking of that donut. This place is truly special. Be sure to stop in and you won't be disappointed!

The vegan donuts are so delicious! I was bummed when WF stopped selling vegan donuts but now I'm grateful because it led me to Donut Wheel. They have a huge variety of vegan and non-vegan options. It was hard to choose but thankfully the person that helped me today was extremely personable and patient. He was working all alone and of course when it got busy the POS system went down. He was very polite and apologetic as he rebooted the system so I could pay. I wasn't in a rush so I didn't mind at all but his personality made the experience even more pleasant. Back to donuts, my favorite is the matcha pistachio vegan cake donut. It's the best vegan donut I've had in a while. The non-vegan's really enjoyed their donuts as well. Highly recommend!
