Tiny Mexican restaurant with a big menu and delicious food. The guy who took our order also cooked our food, super nice guy.I ordered a 3 taco rice plate with rice and beans. Fish taco, crispy fish that's loaded with toppings. Lengua taco, smells and tastes great. Chicken, so perfect. I don't get excited over beans and rice usually, but their rice and beans were wonderful. Their complimentary chips and salsa were great as well. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach here.I love that they have so many options on their menu. I will come back to try their signature birra dishes.

Was looking for a burrito place in the business area in this part of San Mateo. They have a disclaimer that staff is short and service is slower as a result of that.The burrito I got was really nice. The carnitas was not the way I was expecting with the stands of meat pulling apart but it was not overly seasoned. The tortilla has a nice grill to it. The filling is massive and especially given the price it is reasonable. They do give you chips and salsa as per taqueria.Interior is nice and cozy and they have a large tv. The service is slow but they are really friendly and working their best. Overall I would recommend this place if you are looking burritos in this part of San Mateo.

Del Oro Taqueria KNOWS flavor and they know how to cook up a tasty meal! They took over the location of a previous taqueria and while my heart hurt for a while at the loss... it has found new love in Del Oro. My fiancé and I came here one night about 50 mins to closing and was told it'd be about a 30+ min wait for food... we stayed and waited. We came this far, we weren't going to go home taco-less! I opted for their corn in a cup and a garlic shrimp burrito while my fiancé got 2 lengua tacos and 1 birria taco. The food did feel like a bit of a wait especially when you're hungry but we helped ourselves to the chip and salsa bar and bro, these chips (despite being out all day? Hours?) were still crispy and salted perfectly! The salsa they had with it was delicious. If I didn't order a burrito and corn.. I would've gladly ate my weight in chips and salsa. There's no words to be had. The meat in the tacos were tender. The service was friendly and personable. Del Oro, welcome and your presence is much appreciated.

Local spot next to the post office with great food. The salsas are fresh and flavorful. I was walking by and had a craving for a taco.I would be say they can have long wait lines since it's really only one person there but the food is authentic and fresh.

What's up, West Side San Mateo? Be sure to check out Del Oro Taqueria Mexican Grill. I love the Super Quesadillas--that's my go-to item--al pastor. They have everything a Mexican grill should have, even homemade flan and Tres Leches. I LOVE THIS PLACE, from the mural on their wall, to the food, to the staff. Be sure to stop by for some awesome Mexican food! IMO, the best of the best in the West.

We picked up two burrito bowls for dinner. The quality and amount of food you get for the price is insane. Prices are better than any other Mexican place I've been to nearby and the portions are amazing. Service was extremely fast and they were very friendly. Parking is easy on the street as well and plenty of seating inside. This place will be a go to for me.

$21 for one order of rice and one order of beans. Absolutely incredible. This place is overpriced and not worth it. I've been here to eat one time before and it was $40 for two burritos with no drinks for my mother and I. This time I gave him the benefit of the doubt and went to try just the rice and beans, then they tried charging me $21. Won't be going here again ever.
