Darby Dan's Gourmet Sandwiches

We have been coming here for over 23 years. I haven't written a review. My first time coming here was with coworkers coming back from our company trip.I was introduced to their meatloaf sandwich. It is my all time favorite sandwich. They put a jalapeño garlic mayonnaise that adds so much flavor.They are quick to serve and plenty of room to sit and dine in. However, during lunch hour-they get super busy.Definitely one of our stops when we are on the way to or from the airport.

I love that they have crab and shrimp sandwiches available several days a week. They are delicious, but each person seems to make it differently. Sometimes the crab and shrimp are side by side and sometimes on top of each other. Either way is delicious, but there's no standard way. The lines are usually long, but go quickly. Grab your favorite chips and drink on the way through. You can eat there or take it to go. Either way, get a lot of napkins. They are great!

I have been coming here for 30+ years and it's still one of the best sandwich places in my book! The secret? Consistency!! I have tried almost every sandwich on the menu (which is extensive) and they are all great! Thank you to the staff, keep up the great work and make the original ladies who used to work here looong ago proud!

We had a team lunch and we ordered food from here. I got chili burger with side of fries and it was delicious. The beef patty juicy and cooked well. All of my coworkers finished their sandwiches and salads. The service was great and they took our order pretty quick. Very efficient. We didn't dine inside since we ordered over the phone. This is a must for team lunch's.

Ordered the "Sleeper" (ham,turkey and bacon) on Dutch crunch with pepper jack cheese. I asked for xtra mayo but did not get that. They put a very thin layer and I'm gonna attribute that to part of the reason this sandwich eats very dry. The bread almost tastes old but it is soft to touch so just as a whole it's very dry and will wreck havoc on the roof of your mouth. The meat ratio is good and fresh tasting. The cheese is paper thin and pretty much unnoticeable also charges $1 extra for pepper jack, add Small bag of chips and a tea will run you $22 which seems a bit steep. Overall this is an ok sandwich spot but definitely not worth the price and I highly recommend asking for extra condiments and hopefully you actually get them.

Really large sandwich. Dutch crunch was bomb and loved that there was Tabasco (red and green) on each table.My only complaint was that it smelled really strongly like cleaning chemicals.So A+ for cleanliness.But B for atmosphere since I smelled that the entire time. It was strong

Good Sammy! I enjoyed the chicken salad. The ladies were very polite and professional.

If you have to kill time before departing at SFO, go here! Or if the person you're picking up from SFO is starving and they're open, go here! Good parking lot. Don't have to find street parking.

I have been coming here since I was a little girl. It's my favorite sandwich shop because of their garlic mayonnaise! I love the sleeper and I love the tuna sandwich. You're always met with friendly service; they're quick and efficient. I would recommend this place to anyone if they're in the mood for a good sandwich!

It was my first time there. I went with my daughter. Parking lot full but we got one as soon as someone left . We got a crab sandwich & I got the Darby Dan sandwich both very good. So fresh. I definitely recommend it. Friendly service. Bit of a line but it was lunchtime. Clean place.
