Portions were very large, and the servers were nice. I actually really loved their egg rolls, huge and crispy!!

I came here once as I was around SJSU for a few hours. Pretty large space and was busy during the lunch hour, so it took a while to find street parking at the edge of a residential neighborhood.I ordered basic beef pho and it came out in about 10 minutes. Each pho restaurant has it's own flavors in the soup and use different types of noodles. The combination at Dalat wasn't for me personally. My friends that were with me enjoyed it, but to be the soup was bland and the noodles were flat and mushy, almost overcooked. It seemed like they weren't stirring the noodles and it was clumped together.Glad I tried it, but not my favorite pho.

I'm rating my food off my door dash experience. Hu tieu noodles are good but really clumped together. I wanted to eat my noodles dry version but couldn't do it because of how stuck the noodles were to each other. I ended up pouring the soup in to make it a noodle soup and finally the noodles were able to be separated. Soup itself was bland and I had to add a lot of spice and even the sauce for the dry noodle. I'm wary to try this place again but I've heard good things from others. Hopefully next time I can eat it dry version!

3.5 rating. They were very nice. We got there around 12:45 pm. Lunch crowd was leaving. Parking was half a block away. Had to go around the block. Their noodles were clear noodles and I do like it. The shrimps were big. Chicken slices were a bit dry. Lots of bean sprouts and their greens was different. My eating mate had the chicken mushroom with mixed veggies. Veggies were good (bok choy, broccoli cabbage). I didn't see much mushroom. The chicken slices was same as mine. The chicken seemed very dry. Tea was $1 per person. You order at the table and pay up front. Prices was good.

Down and dirty for all the good reasons, and apparently the oldest Vietnamese restaurant in San Jose. Walked in and it was packed, with old dudes, a sure tell sign this place is legit. I THINK I had #47, and it was epic. Packed with giant prawns, meats, and fish cake slices along with amazing clear noodles. Broth was fresh, tasty, and not your average broth. There's plenty of non-metered street parking. Can't wait to come back again and again! Those clear noodles...

I've been coming here ever since I was a kid and this place still holds a good place in my heart and tummy! My go-to is the combination tapioca noodles but the dry version with the soup on the side. One ordering. Don't forget to ask for an extra serving of special sauce and crispy pork fat. It's decadent but obviously delicious.. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is also one of my favorites in town and I get it every time as well. Highly recommend this local joint and don't be deterred from it's surroundings! It's in the sorta the cuts, but well worth it. At least for me (:

Always hits the spot. Their dry pho is the absolute best. I've had it multiple times in several restaurants in different parts of CA and this always hits the spot.

I've been going to the restaurant for years!!! Their chewy Hu Tieu will not disappoint. It still tastes like the first time I've tried this delish bowl of noodles over 20+ years ago. Come and support them. Owner told me they have homeless people asking for food each night otherwise they would smash his windows and of course the police wont't do anything about it so come support them. They need our help and support to keep going.

We ordered the fried chicken with tomato rice and Cambodian rice noodle soup. Both were a disappointment. The chicken was dry and the rice soup was nothing like the nam vang soup I usually have at other places. Everything about the soup was bad.

This has always been a place of mine, ever since my childhood days. Their food is always delicious, nothing really has changed - maybe owners? I'm not sure. I always get #46 or #48, both w/ clear noodles. That's the best IMO. I've tried their regular white noodles w/ it, just no reason and it tasted horrible. Would not recommend. Whether or not you decide to dine in or do take out, the food quality is still 100%. There's also a supply chain issue w/ crabs so unfortunately, they have replaced that w/ shrimps. Not a huge fan...but it'll do for now. Service is really not the best, but I don't think that's all of a surprise. Parking can be a hassle. They have a few spots available on the side of the restaurant, and I've seen a few cars literally parked right next to the window...parallel parking that is. Weird. Other than that, you can do side street parking nearby. Restaurant is outdated and not the cleanest but if you're looking for a good hu tieu place, I highly recommend it.
