We had a large group of 10. Not a problem at all serving us in a timely manner despite being very busy on a Sunday night. To a person, we all enjoyed the variety of menu items we each ordered. Beer selections were great. I had the Amber which to my tastes was outstanding. Great food, great staff, great time!

I went to Felton to check out the trains at the roaring railroad and we decided to have lunch at the Cowboy bar and grill afterwards. The place was empty on a Saturday afternoon and seating was no problem. We sat outside it was nice and clean had a cool fountain in the middle of the courtyard. We ordered the yahoo rib platter, the Baja shrimp salad and the shrimp appetizer. The shrimp appetizer was tough. The shrimp appetizer was pretty overcooked and chewy. It was not great. The Baja salad on the other hand was good the shrimp in the salad was fresher and flavorful. I also enjoyed the dressing. But the ribs were mid at best. Yes, the meat came off the bone tender but it had NO FLAVOR! No seasoning at all it was very bland. We had to drench it in BBQ sauce to make it taste good. The cornbread was also not good it had like re bell peppers in it and super dry and tasteless. The fries were nice though they were crunchy and salty they were good. All in all with the service which was good the waitress was a sweetheart I give it a 2 star review if the shrimp appetizer was fresh and they put seasoning on those ribs like a rub or something on it I would have given it 4 stars.

This place is pretty awesome. I got to stop in while visiting family in the area and let me say first and foremost the staff were very helpful and accommodating to a member of our party who is mobility impaired. The staff was the best thing about this place The ambiance of this place is great as it is hard to beat eating under the redwoods. However a lack of propane for heat lamps when all that is available is outdoor seating is kind of a drag.I recognize it's an old building but only one toilet is also kind of a drag The food here is pretty average. It is basically like going to a mom and pop version of Chilis. It wasn't terrible but didn't blow me away. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich was tasty but not hot. Nothing bad but nothing special about this spot

Wow, just wow. Excellent time at the Cowboy bar & grill. Really feels like you're taking a little vacation in another state! They have an awesome menu of various sandwiches, salads, meat plates, chili, and more. We got the pulled pork on cornbread (Naughty Ned? Nasty Ned?) and it was honestly better than expected. I thought it might be a mushy greasy mess but the cornbread stayed together and paired really well with the pulled pork. We also got one of their specials which had braised short ribs with mashed potatoes. All around very satisfying. Their porch is dog friendly so we got to bring our pooch and even though we dressed warm enough to not need one, there were heat lamps. Service was just the right amount of attentive and very quick/kind. At the end we received a little envelope and if come back within a timeframe with it we can claim some prize. Genius marketing really, I wanna know so badly what's in that envelope that I'm just gonna have to come back. They also rock an all country playlist which takes me back to my country days!! Yeehaw!

Yummy food. Huge, charming patio. Warm, friendly service. We enjoyed bbq shrimp, yams, a green salad with pears and blue cheese, luscious cornbread, and a cheeseburger. All were perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and reasonably priced. Go here if you want to enjoy an evening under the giant redwoods while enjoying great food. We will be back!

Pleasantly surprised! After hiking for a couple hours up the road in the redwoods, we were hungry and thirsty. I yelped and Cowboy Bar and Grill popped up for a few mile away drive. Upon arriving we were seated and our meals placed; I got the Calamity Blue, hubby got the Cran-Apple with Salmon. So delicious!! We were surprised and loved the vibe of the location and friendliness of the servers. The menu had a lot of great options! We'd definitely return if ever back in the area!

I rarely come across restaurants where there's nothing to critique. But this is one of them. Beautiful, clean outdoor seating under shade by redwoods and flowers. We had the Sweet Carolina ribs with cornbread, garlic mashed potatoes, and veggies. Ribs flavorful and tender to the bite. Service was fine.

If you're hungry and want some delicious food this is the spot. All the items are great but if you like pulled pork the nasty ned is the one for you. I have found no matter how busy they are they will always treat you great and make sure you have what you need. The restaurant is surrounded by beautiful redwoods which make this place a peaceful spot to eat no matter the weather. If your looking for you new regular spot this is it.

Food was okay in terms of a bar and grill. The pulled pork was as described but came out soggy due to the pork and lack of toppings. They did however let me try multiple beers (sample size ofcourse) which allowed me to pick the perfect IPA.
