Tremendous setting. Great tasting wines. Michelle was a top class host, and had so much to share on the vineyard and it's history.

Winner and to think I am a Cab Snob! 2018 Chardonnay! Asian pear, apple, citrus land butterscotch with a soft and easy finish won me over!
Cheers to May flights on the last day of May.

We came here after doing a 1 hour trail ride. We were able to be seated immediately (with no reservation) on Father's Day which was nice! They also had live music which was great. They have a few flight options, something for all types of wine lovers and they also offer glasses/bottles. The patio is shaded and wasn't too hot for it being around 80 outside. They also have restrooms close by that are shared with the stables. We ordered food from their small bites menu, which was reasonably priced and 2 tastings. Our total came out to $90 or so which I felt was fair. It did take them about 15-20 minutes to take our order once we sat down which was the only draw back but overall a good experience.

I came for the stables and stayed for the winery. This is a chill unassuming winery with friendly staff. The wines themselves were pretty good and it was great to hear that this tiny winery has won some awards. Way to go representing the area!

I'm not a wine connoisseur, so I can't speak to the quality of the wine. This vineyard was a very pleasant and we came on a nice day so the seating outside was great! My biggest complaint comes from the two women that greeted us (on the older side). They were pretty rude and didn't acknowledge us when we approached to be seated. They were clearly not that busy and were just chatting with each other. When I asked a question about the flights they ignored my question and only asked to see our IDs. This was particularly awkward as the person I was with had gone to the bathroom so I had to awkwardly stand waiting (question unanswered) until he came back. Our actual server was very friendly and I have no complaints about her!

We arrived about an hour before closing on a weekday and it was not crowded at all! Free parking lot and restrooms on-site. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. She explained how the wine tasting works since it was our first time. They have a large shaded outdoor patio which is really nice. It shares space with horse stables so you will smell the horses! We ordered the Reds & Whites wine tasting sampler ($22) - we felt this was enough for two people to share since we each only wanted to try a sip or two. My favorite was the 2023 Viognier, which was very sweet and fruity. I felt $22 was kind of expensive considering the entire volume of wine provided is probably still less than a glass of one wine. We also ordered a sampler of cheese, crackers, fig jam, and salami. It was interesting to me that it came out pre-packaged and picnic style for us to open ourselves. If they want to upgrade the experience they could plate it out for folks on a board instead. The cheese and jam were delicious! We also ordered some dark chocolate drops and prosciutto. If you order meat, beware of the wasps!! They really started swarming us toward the end of our meal. Still, we very much enjoyed our visit and I would come back!

An out-of-town friend and I decided to check out the area for a relaxing wine tasting but most places were closed or needed reservations. It was great to bump in to this place. When we arrived there are are plenty of tables, most were empty. It has been raining so that's pretty much expected. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the cold air while doing the wine tasting flight. The staff were very helpful and congenial. My friend and I appreciated it.Its winter so the vines are pretty much just twigs. :)Definitely visiting again esp because of the super friendly staff.

This winery has so.much.potential! I really wish I could give it a 5 star review, but my best tip would be- FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE if at all possible! As another reviewer stated, the staff was unnecessarily and embarrassingly rude. 1. Know that if you plan on horseback riding you cannot drink (or taste, sample, anything of the sort) wine before your trail ride. 2. They do have a good selection of small snacks available- not many gluten/dairy free options, so don't come hungry. The woman who brought our food and drink seemed bothered we were even there and ignored our request for a separate table so we could spread out the food items. We had a small table for 4 and were forced to put items on the ground and eat on our laps because there wasn't enough room. She didn't seem interested in listening to what the customers needed. It's a beautiful location, and the horseback riding is another review (more rude staff). Enjoy your time but set your expectations low for friendly service.

We visited Cooper-Garrod on a Saturday afternoon, having booked a reservation online that same morning. When we arrived, there were plenty of open tables on the patio, so we probably could have gotten seated without one. The patio here was beautiful and shady - with plants, string lights, and even a little photo backdrop stand, with flowers and the winery logo. Dogs are allowed on the patio, but since the horses are right there, they have a strict no-barking rule. However, the one major drawback of the patio were the flies - SO many! Eventually, this was the reason we didn't stick around longer, as they were all over us, the wine, and my dog. I guess it's to be expected at a farm with horses, but I recommend bringing bug spray. All five of us decided to do a wine tasting flight, for which they have a few different options - the red and white flight, the red wine flight, and the fancy wine flight. I decided on the red wine flight and they all came out fairly quickly. The pours were pretty small, but it only cost $22 ($17 with their Yelp check-in offer!) and all four wines were delightful. My personal favorite was the 2016 F7U Cutlass. Our server was an absolute sweetheart, but our interactions with the manager/hostess were a little awkward. When we showed her the Yelp check-in offer, she reluctantly agreed to apply it, "only if we all wrote them a 5 star review". We closed out, took some pictures in front of the cute green house, and left to avoid the flies. Would return with bug spray!

One of my happy places! Beautiful and peaceful setting, with old farm equipment dotting the area amidst wildflowers in Spring. One suggestion: The ponies in upper corral need some shade options. The sun is intense, even this early in the season. We noticed they were sticking their heads into nearby bushes to escape.

There is no better wine than Cooper wine! Service, location, and stability are essential. The winery is open seven days a week and is one of few family farms. Cooper Garrod has been around for decades, and horseriding and hiking are available on-site.

The smell of horse manure was pronounced, as the presence of horses: trotting around, sculptures, horse arts, and people brushing them lovingly. There was no tasting room, but tables arranged picnic styled. The flight selections were small: red & white, red only, holiday, and "club" which was also offered to me as a non-member. It worked, as I joined later and earned 4 tasting for free. Kelly, our server, was a big factor.Wines were very "drinkable" as more fruit-forward and less tannin. The snacks: crackers and cheeses were store-bough and reasonable. The best part is the open air picnic atmosphere that somehow removed all the horse smells. I joined the membership so that I can bring friends here more frequently. I am also obligated to buy 12 bottles a year what I will probably enjoy.
