Churros la Guadalupana

I used to say if I want churros I'll just get them at Costco for like $1. I was so wrong. Real churros must be made to order. It might even taste better when made by the people of that origin. What was I even thinking Costco churros were any good. I just didn't know better I suppose.I got the one with condensed milk filling and sugar. It was warm, crispy on the outside and soft inner layer. The filling, insulated by the warmth of the churro, oozed mouth watering goodness. It was an amazing treat after eating the best tacos a few blocks down at Los Reyes.I'm just ok with the fried bananas. It's on the greasy side which I don't mind as I know this is a dessert you cannot with good conscience eat all on your own. We opted for the condensed milk and chocolate toppings. In my old country (Indonesia) they had a similar dessert called pisang bakar which is similar but they add cheese which sorta melts into it. Maybe I'll recommend this establishment to offer that for the minority Asians that are seeking nostalgia.

I was running errands at Target when hunger pains started kicking in. I made a quick check on Yelp to see what was in the vicinity and didn't think twice when I noticed Churros La Guadalupana.You can't miss this little gem located right next to Tropicana Buffet. I assume it is a father & son duo running this business and man do they deliver! Fresh, piping hot churros made on the spot are sure to please everyone and they mama. You have the option of purchasing plain churros or add an additional $2 for each churro you'd like to have filled. 5 stars for this mom & pop business. I appreciate the prompt and polite service provided. I won't hesitate to come back and CLG comes highly recommended to anyone who is a lover of churros.

This place is amazing!!! I just recently tried them because they're my neighbors and they kindly brought some over. I didn't even know there was anything other than cinnamon churros and was I surprised!! There's so many flavors that the churros are filled with! Chocolate, guava, strawberry, vanilla and there's probably more! They are warm and gooey with just the right amount of crunch! I will definitely be ordering from them in the future! Definitely a place to check off your bucket list!

These churros taste like the ones they sell in Mexico, super authentic and delicious! They make the churros ($2) and plantains ($3) fresh to order. You can choose fillings such as strawberry, Mexican caramel (cajeta), raspberry, condensed milk, and chocolate which I recommend! This place is cheap, the staff is friendly, they're obviously better than any frozen churro you buy from other stores. The stand is near the exit / entrance across from Starbucks and Yogurtland.
