Chun Yang Tea

Cute little boba shop in an apartment complex across from Apple. There were two order kiosks which eliminated having to wait in line. I thought the drinks were pricey but I guess it's also aligned with Santa Clara/Sunnyvale prices post-pandemic. There are a few tables which make it a good place to hang out with friends or even study/work since they have a good number of outlets around (although I'm not sure if there's free wi-fi). There's also outdoor seating which is perfect for a nice day. I got the peach oolong tea at 70% sweetness and it was very tasty! It had a good amount of tea flavor and not overbearingly sweet. The boba was fresh and very soft and chewy.

My family and I ordered 3 teas today. None of them are good at all. Actually those are horrible. We ordered:-Passion Fruit Green Tea-Lemon Green Tea with Aiyu-Raspberry Oolong Tea with Aiyu The Raspberry one was the worst, it has a strange artificial taste. Passion fruit tea was way too sour. The Lemon one tasted like watered down lemonade. We were trying to like them but we could have only a few sips and needed to waste them.We will never come back here.

Chun Yang is pretty well-known so I wanted to give it a try when I was in the area! They have a smaller size cup than competitors but it's a lower priced drink. Boba quality is good and the tea taste was relatively strong, but I feel like the oolong is not particularly unique in any sense of taste (e.g., not particularly milky, floral, or sweet).The menu was pretty simple, which is very helpful for indecisive folk like me. You can order on the kiosk or at the counter. We got our orders pretty quickly. There is a bit of seating so you can sit and yap!They actually honor 30% sweetness so it doesn't taste super sweet, although I'm not sure if it was an error on part of the person preparing my drink specifically, since other people had way sweeter drinks compared to me. Overall, this place seems good for decent quality tea paired with other items rather than for drinking purely alone.There's a parking structure nearby, although the spacing can be a little tight and it's a little confusing.

With the newest state-of-the-art technology to order milk tea, Chun Yang Tea makes it easy to customize and order your drink from everything you desire. It is clean, efficient, and friendly. There are a few seating areas, probably fit at most for 10 people, but I've seen that this is mostly a buy and go place.There is a parking garage behind this place if you want to stay for a bit; otherwise, street parking for 30 minutes will just do for a simple pickup.The staff was kind and friendly. I ordered a matcha latte at $7.00 for a medium size, which is a bit pricier than other milk tea places in the area. The size was fitting, although I wish the matcha was stronger. It seems at most lukewarm.

Got the peach freeze. Usually I'm not a fan of milk with my fruit drinks but it was really good and still very fruity! The jelly was really good too but they gave a bit too much. Service was also super quick.There's a lot of seating inside and there's also games. Good for groups. There's retail parking in the garage as well.

This boba place is nearby an apartment complex so parking can be tricky during busy hours. The place was clean and did have some seating inside! There is a Kiosk to order and service was quick with the drinks, though, it was empty on the day I went. I got a passionfruit green tea which was delicious and fresh! I would definitely try the rest of the drinks! :)

Was nearby so wanted to try this place out. Located under a residential building. Parking was super limited as all the street spots were full and the open garage areas as well.The inside was pretty empty with only one other group on a Thursday night. I ordered on the kiosk and got the taro sago milk tea. The drink was decent and the sago was a nice topping. They gave a good amount of taro bits but built up at the end so wasn't as good on its own. I would try one of the tea flavors next time but don't think finding a parking spot is worth it the hassle.

Cute little bubble tea spot with WiFi and 5 seats for 2 peeps, and a bar tabletop seating for 6. It's located across from a residential complex and easy to find. The service is super straightforward with two square tablets :) Good mix of seasonal drinks; topping options and adjusting of ice/sweetness. I was actually impressed with the interior ngl Very cute branding and aesthetics making this a comfy place to study and enjoy a nice cup of bubble tea!

I've been wanting to try this place! I like that the menu is smaller compared to other boba spots. I got the black tea macchiato with cheese foam with 30% sugar. I thought the tea quality was good and the sweetness was perfect! The price is also not too bad compared to other places. I went during lunch time on a weekday and got the order very quickly. It's a great casual grab & go spot for boba especially if you work at the nearby companies.

This is a decent boba shop in Sunnyvale, but with so many other great spots in the area, it wouldn't be on the top of my lists to choose from, thus, it's 3.5 stars for me.I got the Honey Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea and the tea flavor was good, no complaints. Overall, drink was enjoyable, if you live nearby, it's a good try.
