It's been a years since my family has come back to this restaurant because my mom had a really upset stomach awhile back. We decided to give them another shot. The dishes here are very very oily but also very very flavorful, as Sichuanese cuisine should be. However, having had so many Sichuanese spots, this spot isn't the best. The mapo tofu was lacking spice and numbing flavor. The cold cut spicy chicken had great flavor, but the chicken wasn't tender. I did really enjoy the spicy beef tendon and potato claypot along with their hot and sour noodles. I think if you come here, definitely get their noodles because that's what they're known for. And yes, your stomach might hurt from the pure spicy grease, but that's what makes it taste good!Service is honestly pretty bad and severely understaffed. We got lucky and came before the rush, but I saw that people coming in after us had to wait over 30 minutes for their first dish to arrive. Customers were getting frustrated waiting to pay as well. The space itself is casual with Chinese detailings. I see where the 3 stars on Yelp is coming from because they could use a lot of improvement, but this isn't a bad option for Sichuanese food/noodles per se, just don't expect the best.

The restaurant environment is very distinctive. The retro decoration makes people feel as if they have traveled back in time. The plating of the dishes is exquisite, like works of art, and the taste is even better, with just the right saltiness and mellow texture. The service staff has high professional qualities and answers all questions, making people feel at home. Great review!

Like the pickled chicken feet the best here. The tofu dishes are good too, though we have to specify mild since my family can't handle too spicy foods.

This place has changed. It's used to be good but now for some reasons, the food quality has gone down the drain. I ordered some to go items two days ago and the beef was really bad and they tried to cover with coated corn starch to keep the beef from smelling bad. Its taste like rubber and bad. Food with no flavor and salty. Maybe they try to cover up the bad taste of old ingredients. I end up throwing away all the beef and all the dishes I ordered. Stay away from this place.

I was craving Szechuan and just spicy food in general and was looking for a spot since my go to is closed on Tuesday... but I might have found a new go to!I got the fried rice, spicy pork intestines, pickled long bean with ground pork, and the dumplings Dumplings were pretty basic but good. Fried rice wasn't too oily or salty and paired really well with my two entrees.Spicy pork intestines is one of my favorites and this place was able to hit the spot! Just enough numbing spice to make it addicting but it didn't over power the other flavors.Pickled long beans w/ ground pork was just the right about of sour and spicy so it just made my whole meal complete!

I loved it, had a fish filet soup and a cucumber salad, it was delicious. The menu is super rich with many good looking dishes so I'll have to come back try some more. The service was ok nothing special (could be friendlier), the place is little too dark.

Dinner 9/17/21Crap shoot with this one. We didn't yelp it or check the menu ahead of time. We were living on the edge and didn't realize it was a Schezuan restaurant until we had already sat down. We ordered the twice cooked pork, lamb with onions and their house special noodle soup. When our server asked how spicy we wanted our food, my husband said medium, while I said mild. We all hesitated and I jokingly said, "just don't kill us". Without missing a beat she says "so mild". Lol. That should have been our warning. Everything came out fresh, piping hot and tasted delicious albeit spicy. I ate a lot of white rice with our dishes. It was spicy but I thought I could handle it. My tummy did not agree, and let's just say it was a rough evening. No more spicy for me!

The flavor is quite authentic. Even I forgot to take a picture of the chongqing spicy noodles, but it tasted soooo goood! I strongly recommend order that one. The lamb skewer was spicy, the Sichuan pepper fish was actually not very spicy, but the bass fish meat is so smooth and I love the bean sprouts as well as the Napa cabbage in this dish. The spicy crab is super good, well seasoned and the crab was fried with chili peppers. Another dish that I really liked was the cucumber stir fry, very refreshing and mild.

I ordered takeout from this place because I was in the area. I got a spicy boiled beef that came packed neatly in a plastic container. The flavors were authentic but the ingredients were far from fresh. The dish originally comes with beef, napa cabbage, and bean sprouts but there were only 5 bean sprouts and 2 pieces of napa cabbage, I kid you not. To top it off, the beansprouts were old and the cabbage leaves wilted. There were many small pieces of beef in the pot and I mean REALLY small pieces of about half an inch which makes me think that all the scraps were put into this dish. Overall very disappointing and not worth it.

I've tried Szechuan food at many different places, and this by far has been the best. The food is delicious, flavorful, and has a great kick. My favorites so far have been the eggplant, dan dan noodles, mapo tofu and beef noodle soup. Service is incredibly fast! I had called 10 min before and by the time I arrived, the food was ready. Price is affordable compared to other restaurants nowadays. You really can't beat the quantity/quality of the food here with the price. They also have lunch specials as well. The space itself is very clean and although not large, still plenty of seating. This is the only place I will go to get Szechuan food and would totally recommend others to give this place a try!
