Chit Chat Cafe at the Pier

Beautiful place on the pier, the pier is closed for repairs but thankfully this coffee shop is OPEN! You'll love hearing the ocean roar and crash, and see the strong waves slam into the wall. Come enjoy sandwiches, bagels, pastries and coffee. Bring a friend there are a few stools and a counter. Friendly happy place I enjoy relaxing with a snack.

There was no "chat"ter for my business. After viewing their menu, we stood in front of the register. The waitress behind the counter was more busy counting her tip than asking for our order. Behind her was 3 other employees. None of them looked concerned for 2 unattended customers who were ready to order.After a hot minute, we left the business with no chit chat.

This place is a blast from the past! Like 1960's beach snack shop. Great bagel sandwiches and espresso. Reasonable prices too!

Cute place to relax and just enjoy the job. Food and service is great. It is now a quick Sunday spot now.

What a little neighborhood treasure! Right at the entry to the public Fishing Pier ! During Crab season this place is popping! The people who work here seem really nice & welcoming! No "locals only" vibe at all ! The prices are extremely "friendly" as well . The Hot Chocolate they make is better than most "fancy" cafes . The croissants and other baked goods are from Mezzetis , a local patisserie with a cult following. The Chit-Chat offers a full menu of most of the usual deli sandwiches, including all day breakfast! Most of all, they offer free wifi and a cozy place to warm up after a coastal walk , or a full day fishing.

Was little disappointed this morning as I ordered "smoothie" off their menu.... It was more like a milkshake as we watched it being made with syrups (mango and strawberry) with milk :( Was expecting being made with frozen fruit ‍ Will not be ordering that again...

Friendly staff and somewhat reasonable prices. Perfect to grab a drink/bite while wandering on the pier. The cappuccino was great!

Relatively basic place right on the shore end of the pier. Clam chowder is only on weekends. But on rainy, windy or any day with rough weather but you still want to go out on the pier, this is a great place to warm up & rest a bit after and have some coffee , tea or hot chocolate.

Oh my goodness, Chit Chat cafe is so cute and welcoming. I was immediately greeted when I walked through the door. I ordered a white mocha and it was made perfectly. I love the atmosphere of this cafe. It's warm, welcoming, and the perfect spot to relax with a good cup of coffee and a nice book.

It's nice to support a small business while enjoying the waves. Excellent customer service. They also have BBQ.
