Came back... still not the same. Ordered the scrambled egg with shrimp over rice. For $20. You get 8 shrimp. Not much egg. The millbrae location is better.

I've only eaten takeout here when I get duck or bbq pork for our house . This day all my other favorite places weren't open yet so we decided to eat in and try their other items. Food was ok but not very flavorful . Very average and think we will just keep this as a takeout only for duck and bbq pork meat

We didn't plan to come here, but on a Saturday lunch Hing Lung next door was packed and Cheung Hing next door was quiet and empty, to save time, we settled in here. The menu posted outside has no price, but we were pleasantly surprised that the prices are reasonable. The interior was simple. There's a BBQ counter upon entry. The tables felt a little sticky. Service was quiet and not proactive, but not hard to get if you need something. After we finished, table and dirty plates were cleaned up quite quickly. Bbq rice plate is 13.99, not bad. Beef brisket Lo mein is also 13.99, good portions. They also give you an egg drop soup complementary but it's quite watery. I got smoked pan fry frog and it was quite tasty. Good heat from the wok and flavored strongly, but a lot of onions and not enough frogs. It's 20.99, not bad. Parking is horrible in this neighborhood.

Sad, sad, sad. How the mighty Cheung Hing has fallen. This used to be the place to go.They can't even get roast duck with wonton and noodles correct. The lady kept arguing with me that I didn't order the noodles. Thank goodness I did it through Yelp (which directed me to Grubhub).I showed her my screen, and she rolled her eyes and just dumped some noodles into the box after having me continue to wait.Horrible service. Small portions. The duck was meh and the wontons have no shrimp inside them.

I will always choose Cheung Hing over Hing Lung next door. Their food tastes better to me. They're also not packed like Hing Lung. The only items Hing Lung makes better is the porridge and Chinese donuts. Other than that, I rather go to Cheung Hing.

Busy busy area so good luck finding a street parking during lunch time! Their meters use the parkmobile app so luckily I already have it for MN.Food was mediocre. The potato leaf veggie was really salty. They did have a promo where you can get lobster e mein for $3, but I'm not sure how you can qualify for the promo. Place is clean and you can see all the roast/barbecue hanging right when you enter. Overall it's not bad but I can do without.

The food is way over-priced, the roast duck in most of other Chinese Restaurant are $25.99. Cheung Hing sale for $36.99. the service is terrified.ordered two dishes to go, waited for 45 minutes. and no utensil inside thebag. when went back to hotel, no utensil to eating the food. Went out to buy some utensil to eat the food, quality, quantity are poor and portion are small. for $9.99 on the menue, she charged $12.95. even 10% tax added on to $11.00. dare not to question the hostess in fear of they split mouthwater to you food as those restaurant server do. If you don't bow to them. Will never go back to this Cheung Hing in South San Francisco, Ca on Grant Ave again.

Food is terrible, gross without finesse. We ordered Chicken Chow Fun and Chicken Chow Mein, plus porridge. Lots of salt and lots of MSG. They processed chicken pieces deep-fry first. They over did it time and again and chicken was too dry and chewy like tree bark. For the price they charged they should panfry the chicken to keep it tender. Service was inattentive. Ambience is crodwed and does not have a clean feeling. Greesy and old.
