Not sure what happened but the last time I went there their fried rice went from a 5 to. 2-3 so I'm lowering my overall to a 3 star.Wish quality was consistent.

A very solid restaurant with clean tasting food. I got the beef tendon soup which was nice and gelatinous, just the way I like it. The soup itself was very flavorful without being overpowering or over-salted. I especially liked that it wasn't too oily, and my weak stomach felt totally happy after eating this meal. The restaurant itself is rather spacious and modern. There were no crowds when I went around 6pm on a Thursday--surprising for the Bay Area.

3.5 stars rounded up to 4 stars.Ordered the Christmas Combo via Weee. The food was tasty in general but it was WAY too salty. Beef Ribs and the Crab Roe "Lion's Head"(meatballs) were particularly good. The sea cucumbers in the Stewed Sea Cucumber with Scallions weren't the best quality and had a funny alkaline taste. Generous amounts of chicken, pork, red dates, goji berries etc were used in making the Ginseng Chicken Soup. Nutritious, soothing and warming for the chilly winter weather. It'd have been a perfect alternative to homemade soup if not for extreme saltiness. Other items were standard tasting.Pretty happy with this Christmas Combo overall. Had a somewhat decent gourmet meal delivered right to the door without spending hours slaving away in the kitchen.

Lovely cost-effective Chinese restaurant. It used to call Chef US then renamed as Teshan Beef. The environment is clean. The staff here are friendly. Menu has lots of options. Food varies from North part of China to South part of China. You could have a view about menu on https://chefus.com/It is providing small dishes combo for one person dining, 2 small dishes with entree (white rice, brown rice or noodle). It is also providing combo with multiple dishes for friends gathering. You could try more small dishes.Leshan beef is must to try dish. You could choose a big bowl with beef brisket, beef tongue, beef tripe, etc. Or small bowl with 2 options. All element has been stewed well, the beef is tender and juicy. The soup also tastes yummy (little salty but not too bad) I also love Spicy Noodle with Minced Beef dish. The amount is huge, providing 5 big slices of spiced beef and lots of noodles.I highly recommended that you give food dishes combo and Leshan Beef a chance!

Came here for their Yelp elite event. The owner/manager was very friendly. It seems like they work with chefs in China to develop authentic recipes. The interior is decorated very clean, and calm music plays. They give complimentary bottled water and have board games available to play. All of the dishes we ordered were fresh and delicious. I hope this place does very well. I think they will give their location, price, and food quality! The yelp elite was down, so they said they would refund me...hopefully, they will.

It's actually 3.5 stars but rounded up to 4 coz d business just opened up and hopefully will improve.Exterior: (1 star)Can't find the place even when I drove into the parking lot and actually drove out, Then, I had to call to confirm it's in that plaza. Check out the "front" pic. Nothing indicated the location is a restaurant or any open business at eye level when driving in. If you look up at 45 degree angle while standing in the parking lot or 30 degree angle when driving, you can then see the sign!Interior: (3 stars; room for improvements)Quite hip looking but NOT all decor has been set up: Understandable for soft opening. The TV sets are not set up yet. The plastic chairs looks cool but not very sturdy.Dining Process & setup: (2.5 stars)Currently one kiosk to take orders. It's very inefficient to peruse through dozens of pages of menu items to do selections. If an average of 5-10 min per order, the kitchen will never be busy. They do offer QR code menu to order for the younger crowd but the tech challenged people may be left out. Order basket and payment are easy to follow. Since it's a cleanup after self dining process like a McDonalds, the place only has one garbage receptacle and it's filled up within an hour and no one comes to dispose. The bathroom ran out of paper towels at 6:45pm is not acceptable. When order is ready from the kitchen, a kitchen helper yells out the order number. Sooo many things wrong with that picture. Need improvements. Food: 3.5-4 starsIngredients are definitely very good. The cooking is similar to a Panda Express but the sauces are better.Drunken Chicken (3+ stars: chicken is too dry but the liquor sauce is excellent)Shrimp with cucumbers (4+ stars: plenty of large fresh shrimps are a big plus; sauce is excellent but somehow the cooking is not as solidly ingrained into the ingredients)Fried Tofu with pork in chili sauce (4+ stars) Again, the sauce is nice, the ingredients are good but the cooking part is not like chef made. There are many dishes to try from different parts of the menu that comes from different parts of China. That is a plus that one may not be able to find in a typical Chinese restaurants. Will definitely come back to try other dishes that says SOLD OUT at 6:45pm.

Just finished dinner with orders picked up from Chefus; food was fresh and pretty tasty; portion sizes were decent for the price. Hubby who is usually pretty critical of take out food even gave his stamp of approval. Since this is a Yelp Elite event, the place is filled with fellow yelpers shortly after 5pm, many of us trying to order either on the phone or using the kiosk. I was disappointed during the ordering process because most of the dishes I planned to order were sold out, menu was also limited compare to what I viewed from the website. The young guy cashier was polite perhaps slightly overwhelmed, I can also hear conversations from the kitchen. I waited approximately 20-25 minutes. What I ordered:-Tomato Meatball soup and Hot and sour soup both small: there were 5 small meat balls in the tomato soup, H/S soup was tasty/salty, both were OK (3/5)- Sateed leek with bean curd and pork : pretty good flavor with fresh ingredients, Chive (not leek) was a little stringy (4/5)-Braised pork with preserved vege, seven large slices of lean pork belly over savory preserved vegetable, we enjoyed it a lot (4.5/5)-Shrimp fried rice, 6 large prawns in the fried rice with some egg and peas, very good portion and well made (4.5/5)There is clearly room for improvement especially in availability of the popular items; the food quality and flavorfulness did leave a good impression. We will visit again and hopefully the operation will be more in gear soon.

Very unique restaurant setup. There is only 1 kiosk near the entrance to place your order and the options are either in Chinese or English along with some images. Interesting breakdown, dishes are categorized under the specific chef and items can be sold out. I ordered:- orange chicken: 4/5 - has a bitter taste of it I think from the orange skins? But the chicken itself was pretty tender - garlic flavored fish fillet: 4/5 - no fishiness to it, very flavorful, can be a bit too salty and overwhelming if you do not pair it with a rice or noodle dish- chicken fried rice: 4/5 - big portion, complemented the orange chicken and fish filet really well, not oily at all so a huge plus! You will receive a text when your order is ready for pick up in the back from the tiny window. Since there is only 1 kiosk, this can cause long wait times and lines. Pretty nice that they have complimentary 6oz bottle waters and a good selection of card/board games to play when dining in.

Came on a Wednesday night for dinner and planned to get take out after hearing about the limited space! We ordered the 2 proteins + veggies with 2 rice combo and got Shanghai Style Duck, Xinjiang Spicy Chicken, Szechuan String Beans and white rice. Note the Shanghai Duck and String Beans were $3 extra. We enjoyed the Shanghai Duck which had good flavor and loved the Xinjiang Spicy Chicken which had a good level of spice without burning your mouth. We wished both entrees had more meat and especially the chicken which had a lot of bones and skin but thought the flavors were good. The dining room was filled with people and quite stuffy during the dinner rush so I'd recommend getting takeout rather than dining in but they do have complimentary bottles of water and some board games if you're looking to hang out.
