(1.5 out of 5) This place used to be one of my favorites, not because it was the beta food, but because of service and food quantity, because yes, when you don't got much money quantity over quality . The last time I went to the this place and enjoyed it was in 2019 slowly this place has ran itself into the ground, with worse quality, worse service. It's just sad! Hopefully this place and get going again! Or open up a spot for a new place...

Ordered the 2 entres plate. I liked it! Throughout the years I have eaten here and I feel like the flavor has stayed consistent which is a must for restaurants. Service is ok, is a fast food restaurant so can't expect great customer service. But it has never been bad. The chow mein that I order was good and so were the two entres. I do remember the bbq ribs being so much better before. Today they were a little hard. The space is big and there's always space to seat, even when they're busy since a good amount of people just take their food to go. The area can sometimes be hard to find parking but I have always been able to even I need to go around on the parking lot.

It was okay . I was craving Chinese food this day and decided to try something new but I was a little disappointed . Service was also quick but felt a little too rushed. The place itself isn't too bad as they have a good amount of seats inside to chill by yourself or with friends.* Rice 9/10 it was probably my favorite thing on the plate that I tried! * Chow Mein 8/10 * Sweet and Sour Pork 3/10 it was not good but the sauce added a little bit of flavor * Kung Pao Chicken 6/10 * Spring Roll 6/10 I definitely prefer Panda Express rolls better I'm not sure if they have other things that are better on the menu, but what I tried was not amazing

The sweet and sour pork chop is good! Good Portion, sweetness and sourness are pretty balanced. The chop is thick, not too thin, and is only lightly fried. I don't feel I'm eating a lot of deep fried starch:)

Reasonable prices and good turnaround on food offerings. Stopped in for a quick meal while in the area on a weeknight, and there was a line around 6pm, which did move quickly though. Lots of people also came in to pickup their to-go orders too. I had the 3 selection combo and chose garlic chicken wings, bbq pork short ribs, and spicy basil shrimp ($1.50 more for any seafood choice). My favorite was the shrimp. They were a solid large/jumbo size and not overcooked. Be careful of the spice! There's small slices of Thai bird chilies in the sautee, which could easily be mistaken for slivers of green beans. Garlic chicken wings were crispy fried and had some garlic flavor but a bit undersalted. Pork ribs were OK too. I was expecting more char siu flavor. All in all decent venue for chinese-american style fast food.

The 2 stars are for the food, which is pretty decent for the price. The minus 3 stars are for the service which was absolutely horrible tonight. The lady that was dishing up the food was extremely rude and at one point argued with a customer ahead of me over a chicken wing...one chicken wing! She handled food and cashier/money without changing gloves whenever switching from one to the other. I was actually tempted to walk away. I did ask who the owner was and for their phone number but she said she didn't have it.

I was here a couple of weeks ago and after coming in this week it's now under new management. This is the reason why the honey sesame looks and tastes different. Not only that but the chow mein is also so bland. I don't understand if an item is popular why change it. Here's my message to the new management: your newly renovated menu is horrible. The worst part is trying to get a refund and that's not possible nowadays. They just changed the items for me and it was still all horrible which was a waste of money. The food ended up saying hello to the organics bin.

I have lived in Castro Valley over 20 years including having a business here. After years of coming here, I will never come back. This Asain woman who works there has the worst customer service and bad attitude I'm just done! I went to this new place closer to my home Garden Cafe and ordered my Chowmein, can you say fresh, real vegetables inside. My husband and children said, we found our replacement Nice customer service too.
