Beyond famous star burger is legit for lunch $10.23 even I don't add American cheese. The patty meat is so real.

Would not recommend the Carl's Jr. there were homeless and high people walking around the lobby pacing up and down the aisle scaring my children. The food was lukewarm at best. My chicken western burger was nothing more than a soggy bun and bbq sauce. My children did like the drink choices which results in the 1 star.

The other night my job had me finish up in the south San Jose area. I stopped for gas next door at a 76 station at Bernal Rd & Santa Teresa. I had never been to this Carl's Jr before, but I decided to hit the drive-thru. I ordered a Western Burger and Onion Rings. Total with tax- $12+. How was the food? Just okay....well, could of been better! I was the only customer in drive-thru, and the food is cook to order. The Western Burger tasted okay, but it had a sloppy appearance. It's supposed to look like the menu photo. You make the burger, wrap it up, and carefully place in the bag. Also, the meat wasn't very juicy. It's char-broiled, but it doesn't have that char-broiled taste. BTW, it's probably not a BBQ grill. They put the meat patty on a conveyor belt, and it passes over flames. When it comes out the other side, the meat is cooked and ready. The Onion Rings had a slight burnt taste. They were good and crunchy, but with a burnt after taste. Now why would that be? Possible reasons:- someone ignored the timer, and they cooked too long- dirty fryer oil- old fryer oilOnion Rings are coated with batter. The batter can pick up flavors from the fryer grease. If the grease is old or dirty, the food doesn't taste right. How was the service? It was prompt and friendly. But when you leave the drive-thru, you have to watch out for homeless people wandering in the parking lot. That's a common parking lot with the Taco Bell next door. So overall, the food is okay, but could be better.This Carl's Jr is located near Bernal Rd & Santa Teresa.

OK, unfortunately fast food places do NOT get the full narrative or full credit. I need to give a shout out to OSCAR. I've been served by him in the Drive-thru a number of times. He is always friendly and does a great job. Yo Oscar, thanks for the Cokes light on ice! I will even pay more here for Cokes than at the McDonald's (which are only $1 Large Cokes).

Went through the drive thru about 5pm and ordered the chicken sandwich combo with large fries. When I arrived home, I ate the sandwich which was delicious! But the fries were horrible!They were cold, hard and were definitely not fresh or edible!I called 1 408-225-5300 to speak to the manager but it's a fax number so i contacted the corporate office to tell them about my experience.

Like most fast-food places nowadays, the employees are expected to take care of the drive thru customers first before anyone at the register, I think. I stood at the counter for a long while before anyone even acknowledged me waiting. The manager and other staff were walking by me several times only focusing on getting the food for drive thru. Not even a hello, please wait or at least something to let me know that I'm not a ghost!! The only cashier was working the drive thru window before he said do you need something. I very nicely said yes that I would like to order some food please. My order was just 2 meals and not alot and to the staff it wasn't important. What happened to the good ol days when customer service meant something?? I only gave 3 stars because the poor young cashier young man was nice to me and tried his best to handle all the pressure! I assume they are understaffed because of the minimum wages. But at least be polite and acknowledge a customer's presence!! Wasn't able to use drive thru so in person, inside was my only option!

Came in half drunk from the bar nearby the night staff was in and my burger was fresh the only employee taking orders delivered order with a smile and despite a fellow customer 's confusion but he originally had the order right and was patient and kind about it and taking still taking and running outside to deliver orders and was precise and i don't remember his name but he was on his job giving good customer service which is rare.

I would usually choose to drive through Carl's Jr. but I had several coupons that I wanted to use and thought it would be easier to go in to order Upon entering, I was warmly welcomed and my order quickly taken. I couldn't believe how quickly I received my food - I thought for sure it was going to be cold, but, to my surprise, it was piping hot. I made several changes to the items I ordered and every item came just as requested. Of the sandwiches ordered, the Beyond Burger received the highest praise while the fish sandwiches were dry and definitely nothing exceptional. The waffle cut fries definitely stood out over the regular fries. Even with coupons, my order of four sandwiches, three fries and one small drink was still $31 which I thought was high. Service was great but the food mostly mediocre. There are so many fast food choices that I most likely will only be back when I have a great coupon.

I hate to see all these negative reviews because my experience recently has been just the opposite. Your manager Cesar needs some recognition for the job he's doing. He is always fast, organized, friendly and courteous with customers and employees. I think Carl and the customers are lucky to have him. Bob 9/17/24
