"I went to a private party yesterday and Chico de Mayo catered. Let me tell you the food was absolutely delicious. Fresh, pillow soft tortillas, super flavorful sofritos, (I heard the meat was delicious as well) & delicious rice, and beans. They had individual packed limes, cilantro, and queso to keep everything fresh and sanitary. They also had about five or six different salsas and each one was amazing. Not only was the food exceptionally good, but the owner, Hector, was there and he was polite, welcoming, and really went out of his way to make sure that everyone was well fed. You can tell that he puts so much pride into the food that he serves. Based on my experience as a party guest, I would 100% book Chico de Mayo For any catering need and recommend them to you without reservation!"
"If you're craving the best birria in San Jose, look no further than Neza Birria. This hidden gem truly delivers on flavor, portions, and convenience.First off, the birria tacos ($4.50 each) are mouthwatering--packed with tender, juicy meat and just the right amount of seasoning. Pair them with the rich, savory consomé (sold separately for $3), and you're in for a treat. But what really got my taste buds excited, was the $15 birria ramen! It's an unexpected twist, blending perfectly spiced birria with a comforting bowl of noodles. It's expensive but I would recommend trying at least once if you're a frequent Customer like I am! It does make you thirsty so have that cold drink ready! Speaking of drinks, for $5, their horchata was totally worth it! Very rich, creamy, and refreshing. They don't skimp here, the pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quality and quantity you get.Plenty of tables with seats available. I do recommend parking on the street and walking into the parking lot where their food truck is parked. I like that they stay open unti 11pm, making it the perfect post-event food spot. Despite the crowd, the wait time for food is surprisingly decent.I have not tried anything else other than what I mentioned, but I'm sure everything else is just as amazing. You won't even need to check any other food truck after you've come to Neza! I haven't ! Lastly, CASH ONLY, so I would recommend bringing cash or if you have Zelle, they do accept that as a form of payment."

"We came in around 4pm on a Saturday afternoon to pregame for a comedy show downtown. We were shocked to see they have happy hour specials EVERY DAY from 3-6pm. So of course we ordered some half off house margaritas and $5 tacos from the happy hour menu. Additionally I ordered chicken enchiladas verde because I was looking to have a full meal. As a gluten-free girlie, I appreciate that the menu indicates which items contain wheat. My enchiladas were fine - the chicken inside was a bit dry, but the verde sauce was decent. Out of all the happy hour taco options, my husband liked the Al pastor the most. Our server was incredibly nice and very friendly. The place wasn't super busy at the time and he was able to be very attentive. However, I did notice later that the happy hour menu states that every happy hour order comes with free chips and salsa which were never brought out to us. The food portion sizes were good though so I didn't need the extra carbs. We would absolutely come here again for drinks (especially at the happy hour prices), but I could pass on the food."
"11 tacos for $31!!!! What a deal! Tacos were good for the area. They were super quick. They are located in the gas station but have their own store. Shared parking lot with the gas station.Spicy is spiiiicy! But good. I like the carne asada over the pastor. You have to ask for limes- received lemons. Doesn't come with any salsa/ sauce. Cash only"
"The food is top tier if you know good, fresh Mexican. They even nailed the baja tacos. I'm from SoCal and was having a hard time finding a place that tasted like home. The Salsa bar is fresh, handmade tortillas, consome served with the birria was perfect flavor and the beans taste just like my childhood memories. I found this place last weekend and I've already been 3 times. I'll gladly drive out of the way for this. Thank you Carlitos!!"
"Best quesabirria in San Jose! Their quesabirria is perfectly constructed. Crisp tortillas hold succulent, tender birria with cheese, crisp sweet onions, and cilantro. Their consommé is so flavorful. If you're ordering their reg tacos, you'll get them on handmade soft and pliable tortillas which I love. My favorite protein is the suadero, which isn't always available at other places. It's beef cooked in its own fat, so of course it's good! They have a small trompo for al pastor, which is decent. I enjoyed the fresh diced pineapple on our al pastor tacos but definitely think quesabirria, consommé, and suadero are the stars of the show."
"Cash or Zelle transfer, no credit card. Located in the corner plaza at Senter Rd and Monterey Hwy with the Marina Grocery store and Bank of America.Delicious carne asada burrito. I ordered mine with extra meat. Also tasty cheese and jalapeno pupusa. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. This El Palacio Del Sabor is the newer 2nd location; the older established one on Capitol Ave has 240 reviews with 4 stars.Only minor complaint is their tortilla chips are not as tasty as a place like Araujo's that makes theirs from scratch. But I prefer the burrito and menu food items from El Palacio Del Sabor, so it's worth coming here."
"Love the quality and taste of food here. Healthy and yummy, what more can we ask for? Our favorites so far are the grilled tilapia, fire roasted corn, beans, shrimp tacos and fries. The dynamite sauce goes well with everything. The service is good. You have ipads to order. And they take your plates after you are done. The ambience is a little better than fast casual. Overall a good spot for a quick healthy and tasty meal."
"I've been obsessed over their tripa tacos here. Seriously obsessed. I've been here at least twice a week lately. Make sure to ask for extra crispy. They double wrap the tortilla for each taco but it's not heavy and I don't get sick of it, even after 5 tacos. They open late at 7pm during the weekdays (M-F); so come at 7:15pm if you don't want to wait. I'll be back regularly :) We ordered 18 tripa tacos once and he gifted us two extra crispy cheese tripa tacos; and it changed everything. Put cheese on your tacos; it's amazing."
"craved a burrito, so i got a super al pastor burrito for $12 -- definitely making this a go-to spot since it's close to home and satisfies my craving!the exterior of the burrito is toasted really well. meat is delicious and juicy. there's also grilled pieces onion which i liked. decent amount of cheese as well.will be back again!! 10/10 banger"
"Tacos Al Vapor Michoacan started out as a food truck and recently opened up a restaurant in downtown Los Altos. While their menu includes the typical options including burritos, quesadillas, tortas, and plates, their tacos are the main appeal and only cost $3 each. All of the meats we tried are super juicy and they use fresh handmade tortillas as well for their tacos. An even better deal is if you order Rigo's combo which comes with 8 tacos and a drink for a total of $21.99. This brings down the cost of each taco to only $2.75! There's also a self-serve, AYCE, tortilla chips station that has a variety of salsas and sauces that you can choose from. Although I really like the tacos here, the other main entrees that I tried, the Torta and quesadilla, were very average and I didn't really like the fillings that were used for these.ORDER:|-| Rigo's Combo ($21.99) - 8 tacos with a can of coke|-| Tacos ($3/each) - comes with diced onion and cilantro |-| Torta ($13.99) - choice of meat, melted cheese, salsa, pico de Gallo, lettuce, sour cream, and avocado|-| Super Quesadilla ($12.99) - choice of meat, pico de Gallo, cheese, sour cream, avocado, lettuce, and sauce"
"Once again Yelp knows what's up. After looking for yummy Mexican, we saw this place pop up and decided to give it a try. They offer a ton of solid options which resulted in a fun indecisiveness rollercoaster (burrito...no taco...no quesadilla) to eventually go with the super veggie burrito enchilada style. I loooove that they have enchilada style, it just makes a great thing even better. Their burritos are thick and ginormous and 100% satisfying. Also their chips and salsa are yummy in the tummy. Me and the boyfriend can't decide on which salsa was the best. I'm team red and he's team green. We're both right. Also it wasn't expensive. Also also their seating area was clean and larger than I expected first walking in. Staff was friendly. Think that covers everything."

The tacos are soo...good! I can have them everyday. My family hired Chico for an event. He was extremely professional and accommodating. Having authentic street tacos at the party was the best experience. Everyone enjoyed the tacos and vibe. Chico cooked chicken, carne asada, and al pastor tacos. They are all a must try! Will definitely have him back soon for my birthday!

I was at the restaurant for another event so was really looking forward to celebrating Valentines there. The Food was good but the service was horrible. They sat us down at a table that was dirty and sticky. We didn't get plates or utensils even after our food arrived. We ordered an appetizer that never arrived and instead we got a drink that we cancelled shortly after ordering. We didn't get the bill until we paid. Once we got the printed receipt we discovered we were charged for the appetizers that didn't arrive. I'm sure it was an honest mistake but definitely in line with the overall experience.Overall the place felt very disorganized and the experience was mediocre at best.

You know the food is going to be fire when it's attached to a gas station. The locals have sent me here on my quest for carnitas tacos and it did not disappoint! Juicy, greasy and the salsas are spicy and delicious! I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner! Prices are great too! There is plenty of street parking as well. CASH ONLY

This place just opened, and you have to give it a shot! Carlitos Tijuana Grill delivers fresh, handmade tortillas and truly authentic Tijuana-style food. I've tried the birria tacos, which were excellent, but my favorite has to be the fish tacos. They are fresh, flavorful, and instantly reminded me of the ones I had in Ensenada. The staff here is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. If you're looking for real-deal Tijuana flavors and warm hospitality, Carlitos is the spot. Don't miss it!#TijuanaStyle #FishTacos #HandmadeTortillas #AuthenticFlavors #FriendlyService

I was craving tacos on a Saturday night since I haven't had it in quite a while, so I wanted to see what taco trucks were nearby the vicinity I was in. There were a few options that popped up, but I saw this one had quesa birria tacos, so that was the winner lol.The truck was located at a gas station on Story road, and since there were a few other trucks nearby, music was playing loud all around. So the vibes were still high at around midnight, which was pretty cool!I ordered the quesa birria tacos and it was worth waiting a few minutes for it because they were making it fresh off the grill. I took the first bite as is with lime squeezed on it, and the flavors were delicious! The right amount of saltiness and the consommé they used for the tacos added a nice, rich beefy taste! The meat was very tender and juicy, and the lime squeezed on top brightened the tacos up a bit and the onions and radish helped cut the fattiness. They also offered this green and red sauce, and I tried both. It definitely added more depth of taste. If you're looking for some tacos to eat late night, this truck is worth trying!

The food here is amazing! My husband always gets the fish and I always get the veggie options. Both are great. What gets me is how FRESH the food here is--you can tell the difference. Especially for a vegetarian--it's worth the price. Service is usually great here--especially one of the Sunday managers (I assume he's the manager because he's always making sure everyone is ok and enjoying the food). It's a clean and quiet place as well. This is my favorite place to eat at on Sundays.

"Its new years eve, every single place I want to go to is either closed or not at the spot. I was just driving around and stumbled across this location. We ordered 2 tripas, 2 asada, and 2 pastor and a carne asada super burrito. Tacos were regular, however it was seasoned perfectly. Salsa bar was good, I personally liked the orange, red and then green. Prices were reasonable in this state of economy.Super burrito was amazing, might be my go to spot for burritos. This would been 5 starts but they forgot one of our quesabirria tacos, which was ok because we texted him and he said he will take care of us next time. Eddy was great! Might be our regular spot now."
"I've been wanting to try this food truck ever since I moved in the area and I finally did. I ordered the asada torta and it was good but I definitely had better. I think what I didn't like about the torta was that the bread was very flat and wasn't full unlike other places I've had tortas at. I'll definitely try to come back and try their tacos. The service was great, the lady who took my order and made my food was very kind and helpful! It's located in the chevron gas station so it's pretty easy to spot! They have seating outside as well if you wanted to eat your meal there."
"I see Ladygomitas all over social media. I heard they serve the best quesabirria tacos in San Jose. I have planned my trip to Fairgrounds accordingly to evaluate for myself. In the end, was it all worth the hype?In short, yes! I cannot say I've ever had a quesabirria taco before, so I don't have much to go off of. But what I ended up with was something delicious.I got myself two quesabirria tacos ($7) and a small consome ($3). The quesabirria tacos here are served with cheese, marinated beef, cilantro, onions, and other seasonings. They come with cucumbers, radishes, lime peels, and red sauce on the side. The consome is a broth filled with the juices of the beef, cilantro, onions, and other seasonings. The recommendation that I received from a friend is to buy both the tacos and the consome because when you dip the tacos into the consome, you get tacos that are rich and juicy. After adding a squeeze of lime and red sauce to my tacos, I took a dip and popped a bite. Needless to say, that was an epic experience. The meat being soaked in its own juices and paired with cheese and other ingredient--it's a rewarding combination. You're going to feel the impact of the food even after you're finished. The small consome is actually very plentiful, and you can choose to drink it after finishing the tacos or take it home for later consumption. But amazing tacos are to be expected. What about everything else? The thing I want to emphasize in my review is the parking and waiting situation. I came to the spot at 6:00PM and saw a huge line that extended to the nearest stoplight. Upon finding parking in the rather shady back, I asked myself whether I had arrived too late. This was no simple wait for a rollercoaster ride; this was an endurance test. And for those who haven't eaten food all day such as myself, this was hell. From the back of the line to finally ordering, it took me 2 hours and 15 minutes. For waiting on the food to come out, it took me another 45 minutes. Altogether, I had gotten my food in 3 hours. I've never waited this long for anything since last year's Black Friday sale. Some additional notes: CASH only! Cashapp, Venmo, and Paypal supported. Seating and tables available, though most will be occupied. Recommended you tag a group of friends along. Ask for other salsa options when possible. Friendly staff. Relatively clean area. I came at a Sunday evening, but I was informed the place may open earlier on the weekends than scheduled. Have something to entertain you for the long waittime. As delicious as those quesabirria tacos were, would I like to relive the experience of waiting 3 hours to nab 'em? Probably not. The line being packed suggests to me that Ladycomitas is putting out something that everyone feels they must check out, and I believe they deserve the hype. Best quesabirria tacos in San Jose? You can bet they are up there."
"First time here, and I can already tell this is going to be one of my favorite spots on the Peninsula. When I pulled into the parking lot, I saw someone actually chopping wood for the cookers--now that's authentic Texan barbecue! Finding this level of barbecue along the Peninsula, or even across the Bay, is rare, so I'm thrilled to have discovered this place.I stopped in on a Saturday for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the comprehensive barbecue menu. I opted for the 3-meat plate (with two sides): brisket, Louisiana sausages, and pork ribs. Everything was perfectly cooked--succulent, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. While the proteins were outstanding, the sauces deserve just as much praise. The "Capeliente" was a standout; I loved it so much I went back for a second cup. The DiabloXX (smoked habanero and jalapeño peppers with ghost pepper extract) had a nice spicy kick, but it wasn't overwhelmingly hot, which I appreciated. I also tried the Porklicious South Carolina Mustard and Sweet Kansas sauces, but the Capeliente and DiabloXX were my favorites. The sides were classic barbecue staples, rounding out a complete and satisfying meal. The venue offers plenty of parking, along with indoor and outdoor dining areas and a bar. I'll definitely be coming back for more very soon!"
"Just looking back at my reviews realizing it's been 4 years since my first and I still look forward to a meal there. The staff is friendly and service quick. The restaurant is small and with the bakery, seating has almost doubled. Today, they opened their new Panaderia. I arrived around 7:30 am and the place was packed. The display cases, full with various Mexican breads and goodies. I picked a Concha and croissant looking treat. Both were perfect with my coffee. Light & airy, flavorful. Definitely worth the stop. The selection is pretty good and they offer coffee and Mexican Hot Chocolate. You can sit inside and enjoy your pastries or get them to go. I'm definitely going back."
"This place is awesome.Came here on a random night with some out of town friends, and we ordered every kind of taco, nachos, quesabirrias, and some nice drinks. Literally everything was way above average. A dive bar like this having food this good is just crazy. To that point, it definitely is a dive bar. You don't come for the ambiance, although I appreciated its pretty clean (including the bathrooms), well lit, and the music isn't obnoxiously loud. The bartenders/order takers/waiters are all very nice. They did comment on how much food we ordered, but then again they made really good food so we kept ordering more. So it's their own fault we pigged out.Prices are fine, drinks are good, food is great, and it's a pleasant environment. I would 100% come back. They take credit cards and have a decent size lot out front. Just be warned that it's under an overpass and easy to miss when driving."
"Yum good tacos! I came here last week on a Sunday. It is located next to Ernie's liquor store if you were wondering where! This taco truck carries a variety of food, from carne asada fries, hotdogs to birria tacos (Birrias tacos served on weekends only) The lady at the front was really nice and helped me with my order. I ordered two taco. The two tacos were delicious. I got the asada and the lengua. However, I wished they gave more meat! I asked for avocado salsa and they also have red salsa! Both were very delicious. Would come back again ^^"
"My favorite Mexican restaurant in Daly City! They have the best soft tacos and burritos! I ordered two regular soft tacos with pastor and one with Carne asada and both tasted delicious in their own way. The meat wasn't dry and the seasoning was perfect. The pastor sauce was very interesting and had a little kick to it. They pan-fry their tortilla for the burrito! Gosh, great and quick service! Come support the two people who take care of this business!"
"One of my favorite truck food. First have a very big menu with a lot different kind of food no only fast food. They have complete dishes that including a little salad rice and beans and their presentation is always very careful and nice. They pay attention to details, like they always add extra salsa without asking a wedge of lemon, napkins and utensils. Always!!! But talking about their food is really good. Super tasteful, big portions, good quality of vegetables and meat. And the lady who is there taking the orders is very friendly and nice. Always with a big smile so that's for sure is a plus. And on top they have a new truck that it's clean, very colorful and well lighted."
"Such a great family owned taco truck! Stopped here with a couple of friends one night & they had a decent amount of seating propped up on the side walk with good lighting and music playing. It wasn't busy when we came, we waited about 10 minutes for our order to come out which five of us ordered individually. The good was soooo gooooooooood! Made to order and you could tell that they put love into their cooking. The family that owned it were very friendly too! I ordered one pastor and one carne asada taco. Very fresh tasting and filling. I also got the horchata which was delicious. They checked in on us to make sure everything was ok which I've never experienced eating at a food truck."
"We were in the area and saw this taco truck on our way back home and it's at the entrance of hwy 280. So we decided to give it a shot.... I ordered 3 cabeza tacos, one Gordita and one Quesabirria for a total $36. That's Bay Area San Jose prices for ya! Let me just say that Gordita was HUGE and I didn't even eat my quesabirria cause I was ready to have a good coma! I had Pepino con limón drink and that was sooooooooo good!!!!!! If you don't mind the price, go eat at this spot! The ladies there were so nice and even gave us some aroz con leche they had for themselves. I didn't give it 5 stars cause the meat did need a tad more seasoning, but the tortilla for it and for the quesabirria are hand made super thick!!!! Oh, they can't sell sodas cause they are on the parking lot of the gas station and I'm pretty sure they have an agreement. Will def go again if I'm in the area!"
"My boyfriend and I stayed at a hotel near by. I was hungry for a late night snack and this was one of the places that was still open. Best decision! The burger is huge and juicy and super flavorful. I saved half for my boyfriend and we had to get it the next day so he could see how good it was fresh. I honestly couldn't believe how good it was."
"You obviously come here to chow down on some carnitas and they have 2 types for you to choose from -- meat only and mixed with pieces of buche and who knows what other piggy parts. The tacos were served with onions, cilantro, and red and green salsas on the side, with lime wedges on the plate. So how's the meat? The carnitas is tasty and tender but both were very salty. That said, go for the mixed carnitas, it adds extra juiciness and textures to each bite. I wanted to try the chicharron tacos but they were out. I'm not sure if they make it any longer or they were sold out."
"Hands down best tacos in SJ. Food was phenomenal--got the carne asada quesabirria with consume, lengua taco, and al pastor taco. Carne asada was a bit on the chewier side but still delicious. Lengua and al pastor were to die for.Workers were so kind and sweet. They still needed 10 min to set up when we got there (Yelp says 6pm opening but I think it should be 6:30?) so we got back in our car to wait and one of the workers came to flag us down when they opened! Also offered us consume for our quesabirrias which I used with all my tacos ofc. Ambiance is typical for a cart/outdoor set up. They have a tent with tables and chairs under so you're shaded. Lots of sauces on the table, I used them all. Wish I had pics to post but food smelled so good that once it arrived, phone did not eat first..."
"I've driven past this place a million times and decided to give it a try when working from home one day.The. most. delicious. quesadilla. i've. EVER. had. This place at a line of people in front of it so you KNOW it's good. I got the super quesadilla with carne asada and no sour cream. SOOOOOO GOOD! The plate came with radish, lime, roasted chili and chips. Not to mention the giant quesadilla. I'm definitely going back here!"
"Love this truck! Filipino fusion. This truck came to my work and oh my do I hope they come back!!!BIRRIA LUMPIA! Does anything else need to be said?It is $15 for 6 pieces of birria lumpia with consume. The flavor was delicious and the meat was lean. The birria had a great rich flavor and the fry oil for the lumpia was fresh. No aftertaste like you often get from food trucks. My co worker had placed an order earlier and they had left one item out by accident. I went to get it for her and they apologized profusely. They made her a fresh plate and even gave us an extra order of lumpia to apologize for the error. That is above and beyond service. Great customer service, delicious tasting food, and two of my favorite foods fused together successfully = 1 completely satisfied tummy!I can't wait to experience the other items on their menu!"
"I'm totally biased because I know the owner, but his food is really the bomb! I'm vegetarian and his truck is a vegetarian's dream. I can eat the Hippy Hawaiian everyday and want more. Carnivores also rave about the Hippy Hawaiian with Steak!! Follow him on Instagram and do yourself a favor and find his truck--you won't regret it!!"
"I've been seeing this restaurant on IG so much lately, so since I was in the area, I decided to try it. They seem to be popular for their quesabirria, but I can't eat that much beef. I decided to try their al pastor super quesadillas ($14.75). I also ordered a small side of birria consumme ($1) and an horchata ($4.50). I ordered to-go, which added $0.25 to the bill. My order took 20 minutes, which I thought was a bit long. It looked like they had 3 cooks in the kitchen. Everything I had was good, nothing out of the ordinary. It was worth the trip. Maybe I'll try the crispy shrimp taco next time. Parking is a little hard though. Street parking only."
"Tacos La Chilanguita VIP is a taco truck located on N Capitol Avenue just shy of the Capitol Square Shopping Center. They sell authetic Mexican food--nacho plates, alambres, and quesadillas, to name a few. I've been here before plenty of times, but I decided to write up on it in passing. On separate days, I got myself 3 Carne Asada tacos ($2.50 each, $7.50 total) and 3 Quesabirria tacos ($3.66 each, $11 total). On average, the Carne Asada tacos took me 4 minutes, and the Quesabirria tacos took me 10 minutes.Let's start with the Carne Asada tacos. Honest to God, these tacos had me dancing in the driver's seat! I parked by the shopping center, hands and stomach ready. The pleasant smell of seasoned meat hits you immediately. Removing the foil from the plate, I see in front of me three delicious tacos with asada, chopped onions, and cilantros, alongside a couple of radishes, pickled red onions, lime slices, salsa verde, and salsa roja. It would be remiss of me to not tell you how they taste just as good as they look. Tender meat and flavorful ingredients make for a great night, and the salsa are a nice complement if you can handle the heat.Until my most recent visit, I was not aware they had sold quesabirria tacos. I don't think I have to re-examine why these are so ubiquitous with the food trends of late; you should already know how amazing they are! The quesabirria tacos here are no different from the ones that I enjoy--they are cheesy, they are meaty , and with the consomé side, they are messy. I must've spent a bit longer than usual finding a parking slot because the heat did end up sogging the tacos so they weren't crunchy, but they're still fresh and hot to the fingers. A must-get!The private parking lot in this area is limited, though if you come here on the weekday nights like I did, you'll not only find parking, but you'll also be near or at the front of the line. Super friendly customer service. Cash only. COVID regulations have been met. They accept takeout if you call ahead of time. Be prepared to wait longer than usual, as the food takes time to prepare and there are not any seats available. When looking for places on Yelp to eat at, I often go for ones that seem to quickly catch my eye, not necessarily because they are well-known with the people, but because they have not been well-known. We have so many eateries in the South Bay that some may get lost in the sea of fine establishments, and I think the Alum Rock area is notorious for having some hidden gems that mainly the locals know about and no one else. Tacos La Chilanguita VIP is a shining example of a place that makes good food and deserves a bit more attention, in my opinion. I've only been here for their tacos, but there's no doubt in my mind any item you get here will stick out to you favorably."
"Absolutely amazing! We asked the amazing women to come cater a birthday party for about 50 people and loved every bit of it! They were very thoughtful and thorough with the menu, allowing us to sample a little bit of everything and decide what we wanted to serve. Ultimately we went with chicken, beef and al pastor tacos (side of onions, cilantro, and peppers to add as desired), served with rice, beans, three sauces (mild, medium, XXX hot), ceviche and guacamole with a side of taquitos and chips. The food was absolutely delicious! No notes whatsoever. Some of the best guacamole and ceviche I have ever had, and the tacos were so flavorful! Watch out for the spicy sauce, because it really packs a punch (but if you can get paste the spice it was delicious). Everything was cooked in the backyard, and we got all of the leftovers to happily enjoy for the next few days! Everyone was raving about the food all night, and even went back for seconds and thirds. They came the night before to drop off some equipment, arrived on time the day of the event, and set up an absolutely beautiful display of food! The women were so kind and an absolute delight to talk to! They have amazing recommendations on what to pair with which taco to really elevate the flavor. It is very clear how much effort and care they put into the food that they serve. We loved the food and will definitely be visiting the main truck to get our authentic street taco fix!"
"My two sons and I have been testing out various taco trucks in the area on a mission to find the BEST. While there was some solid competition, this spot comes out on top... in fact, the top vote getter for 2/3 of us. This truck sits in the lot by Sprouts and Wells Fargo, right off El Camino. Orders are: - birria tacos with everything- pollo tacos with everything - asada, chorizo, and al pastor with everything Green salsa all around. I'm honestly torn between this and another spot being the best, but my boys definitely hit the nail on the head when they said this spot wins out because the meats have just the right amount of sauce, not too much, and all the meat is very moist and cooked perfectly. It's CASH ONLY so be prepared, there is an ATM next door at the Wells Fargo."
"It's been a while since I last had a meal here. I forgot how darn good their food and beer were. I had the large order of the Fish and Chips. It came with a hefty order of fries and an equal portion of their excellent coleslaw. You get three large pieces of fried fish. The batter was light and crispy. The fish was delicious. The fries were crispy and delicious. I doused them with malt vinegar. It also came with some delicious tartar sauce. I washed it down with a pint of their 25th Anniversary Golden Ale. It was perfect with a light balance of tart and sweet. It's been a while since I frequented the restaurant and wish I came here more often. It's well worth the trip from Warm Springs. Come and enjoy a cold brew and some excellent food."
"Was in the area and spotted this food truck so me and my bf decided to try it. It is off to the side of target by el camino. Plenty of parking and it was quick service! They have a little seating area if you want to dine there. We ordered the quesabirria plate with consome, taco gobernador and a super quesadilla with chorizo.Quesabirria 9/10- the beef was seasoned well with a good portion of cheese/meat. The birria dip was delicious! Super quesadilla with chorizo 10/10- This was our favorite thing we tried! It's not just a traditional quesadilla with cheese, it also comes with lettuce, onions and avocado. Get it with chipotle sauce on the side, it was easily the best thing ever! The chorizo tasted amazing too and we would go back to get this again! Taco gobernador- 8/10 It is a shrimp taco with cheese and again tasted good! Overall, would come back here again to try other items on the menu! It is definitely one of the better food trucks I've tried. Highly recommend!"
