Bobby C. "This has become my go-to market recently for eggs because the larger chain grocery we frequent increased their prices significantly. Then I discovered Zanotto's has Hoisin Sauce that I can't find at the larger store. Plus they offering local baked goodies like Beckman's Pies (Santa Cruz) and smaller fruit tarts from Douce France (Palo Alto). Their produce section offers smaller portion size veggies such as a small head of cabbage we bought during the holidays because we only needed some as a platform for steaming dumplings. Last but not least, it's convenient to shop here because it is less crowded which makes check-out faster."

Jezza Mei O. "I absolutely LOVE this place and the reason why i love it so much is because they currently have $1 tacos! I've been in San Jose for a long time and $1 tacos is unheard of so this place is automatically my favorite. Besides the tacos they have other plates, burritos, family meals and kid's menu! The family meals come equipped with all the necessities for dinner with the family so if you have a last minute party to attend this would be the best spot. It includes choice of meat, beans, salsa and tortillas and the amount carries on which family pack you get. The family meals have:#1 feeds 2-4#2 feeds 5-6#3 feeds 7-9#4 feeds 10-12It's also a little market so you can do your light grocery shopping done here. The people here are very nice and always welcoming. Chavez Supermarket & Taqueria

Chavez Supermarket & Taqueria

Kevin R. "Although an average to good taqueria, Chavez nickels and dimes you for everything. Where any other taqueria in the South Bay offers free condiments such as cilantro, onions, or jalapeños, Chavez charges a lot for these. I often by carnitas by the pound and ask them to put onions and cilantro on top. Instead they sell me a small container that costs more than a whole onion and bunch of cilantro. Crazy as you would think Chavez gets these at a lower wholesale rate as a large supermarket than a small taqueria doe"
