"So glad we finally got to try Margaritas Taqueria! It's a super convenient food truck spot in Sunnyvale with a few tables and a large covered tent if you want to stay and eat, which we did. I had three regular tacos--two birria and one chicken. For $3.25 each, you get so much meat; honestly, I could've ordered just two and been full! The birria was so tender and juicy, and whatever sauce was on my tacos was a solid 10/10. I also had a hibiscus agua fresca that was delicious and not too sweet. My boyfriend got the super burrito with chicken, no tomato, and loved it. Food was ready very quickly and service was super nice. We'll definitely be back!"
"One of the few larger taco truck stands in East side san jose.Parking is plenty in the back and they got a building with a dining area across from the truck. They have a self serve sauce and condiments bar with togo options as wellEvery meat option is basically available and the tacos it self were pretty solid for SJ tacos. Very juicy and tender and good flavorThe mic that they use to call out numbers has a lot of reverb so its hard to hear sometimes"
Birria soup comes with cilantro, cebolla, and tortillas all on the side.

"We walked past this place on our way to another establishment, and I immediately noticed the fragrant smell and sound of stir fry being made in a wok out the back of this truck. So when we were disappointed by the food at the first place we visited, we ran back to this food truck and were happy to see if was still there despite it being almost 9:30pm. Everything was cooked fresh after we ordered and came out piping hot; giving us enough time to walk and find a place to sit before it cooled down to an edible temperature. -Chili Chicken Momo ($11.99): this came out burning hot and was amazing. There were 8 momos that were super flavorful and a little crispy on the outside, stir fried in a delicious tomatoey spiced sauce with onions and green peppers that still had a nice bit of crunch. It comes with a spicy red sauce and a creamy orange sauce full of umami. This food truck is a gem and I highly recommend you come by to try the chili chicken momos. I saw some other people getting the chow mein and which also smelled and looked amazing, so I'd love to come back to try the rest of their flavorful, made to order food!"
"Finally made it out to get some tacos since moving back to CA. Was in socal for a long while, so we were really hoping to find a good place up herr! The bf got the Chezburrito and it is definitely worth it! Packed with deliciousness and 3 different meats. And it is heftttty. I got waay too many tacos but no regrets. Carne Asada, brisket, tongue, al pastor, shrimp, and fried pork. All the tacos were really good. But my favorites were the tongue, al pastor and shrimp. The tongue was cooked really well and had great flavor. Really they all did. Everything was packed nicely and securely. 2 each of their green and orange hot sauce. 2 foils of grilled onions/jalapenos. We also got the horchata and jaimaica which were also super good. Overly full right now but no regrets."
"LOVETacos! Spicy shrimp with soy chorizo. Carne asada. The man who works here is so sweet and friendly.LIKEBarbacoa.El Califas style -- cheese sandwiched between the tortillas. Heavy, but delicious.Picnic tables, in sun and shade.MEHIt's a food truck in a gas station parking lot, so if you're looking for ambiance, this ain't it."
"Thursday night at 9pm and it was very busy!! The food truck is in a very nice community street market type area. There are plenty of barrel top tables to stand at, and a couple other food trucks and vendors to check out. The atmosphere is very lively, lots of bright lights and festive music. We ordered fried chicken momos, chili chicken momos, and chicken hakka noodles. I preferred the fried chicken momos over the the chili momos mainly because the chili sauce had more salty flavor than spice I think? The noodles were very tasty, that had a nice char on them. If I go again, definitely getting noodles and fried momos!"
"Robot server was handsome Mohan was making sure we got all the menu correctly. Everything was explained well. Food was delicious. Great ambiance. Music would have been good. Will definitely go again."
"Get the chicken and chicken chili momo! It was a random Sunday afternoon that I got to spend by myself while Gavin's at the temple learning about Buddhism and Vietnamese. I drove to the temple in Palo Alto to visit my grandpa (his picture is there) and decided to get gas on my way back. Had no idea there was a food truck meet up here. I was determined to stop by after Costco. I was excited to see momos on the menu. That was the first truck I saw. I didn't eat it the same day. These tasted great, still. I microwaved them but if I wasn't super lazy, steaming them for a few minutes would do the trick. The chicken momos were succulent. The chicken chili momos were earthy and had some heat to it. The chili sauce it came w/ elevated the heat, it was spicy but super tolerable. Accepts cards. Service was friendly. Will be back!"
"This spot nestled in San Jose is truly a hidden gem, and is recognized for its birria ramen, which is so good. You can get traditional quesabirria or the ramen, both are really good. I'd love to come back and try more of their menu here."
"I think this place makes pretty good North Indian dishes - like chole bhature. The street snacks like dahi poori, papdi chaat, etc are good as well, but they lack a twist in taste, maybe if it could be a bit spicy, had some chaat masala then it'd taste even better. My pav bhaji tasted well, but next time I'd recommend adding some more chili to it, to up it another level. Similar with Dal Makhani and chole. The service is pretty slow but the staff is very nice. We had ordered one dish with no onion and no garlic and we found some onions in the dish so the staff was nice enough to even replace the bhature with chole instead of just chole. Next time I come I'd want to try their parathas with dal makhani."
"Just discovered this food truck when I was in mtv. Even as you drive up, park and go pick up your order, you're struck by how clean it is. Yes it's new and all, but so clean, it sets new standards for food trucks, esp desi trucks!Ordered vada pav and dabeli and chai. The dabeli and vada pav were awesome. Not overly oily. Correct flavor balance and spices. The busted chilly was mmmmm so good!Chai... I wish I'd picked up a cpl more. Gosh so good, and I love it has a super focused and limited menu. Very Bombay style street food. It reminded me of law garden evening food stalls in Ahmedabad! I know I'm gonna crave for this place now!!"
"We contacted Holy Cannoli for catering of a school luncheon event. Jamie, the owner, was great to work with from start to finish. She was able to set up a menu that served all range of guests including vegan and gluten-free. The food was amazingly delicious! We had so many people stop by to ask who had catered the event because they wanted seconds! She was quick to respond to any questions we had and very helpful on the day of the event.I will definitely reach out to Jamie and Holy Cannoli for any future catering event and look forward to stopping by the restaurant to have lunch."

tl;dr Our new favorite spot for amazing burritos! This is a food truck in a very small parking lot, so if you arrive but there's no parking, you may need to exit and park nearby and walk. These burritos can be HUGE. I've tried the super burrito with al pastor twice now and both times, I could only make it halfway before I got full. The agua frescas were also fresh and tasty. The flavor of the meat is also very prominent and delicious. We are definitely repeat customers!

Tacos Los Tres Reyes is probably the best tacos I've had in the bay so far. We came on a Sunday night and this place was packed. We ordered Al pastor, carne asada, lengua, carnitas, Cabeza, and suadero. My favorite bites were the Cabeza and the suadero, would definitely come back for these because the meat was very flavor and tender. The other meats were pretty standard and nothing to write home about. All tacos are on store bought tortillas which is a bit of a disappointment because it gives the taco a rigid bite since it's not soft. I think it would be way better if they had hand made tortillas. Their salsa bar is pretty extensive, they even have a pineapple salsa which is one of a kind and very spicy but worth a try. In general all the salsa are extremely spicy so if you can't handle spice go easy on the salsa. In comparison to so cal tacos though the tacos are average. Even my favorite bites of the night can't even compare. They have their own private lot and we were lucky to find parking. It seems like a lot of people order for to go though so there's always cars coming in and out. They had great seating options that are inside but with a garage door open. They have heaters so even though we came in winter we were still warm while eating. Overall, if I'm really craving tacos in the bay I would come back but if I have a trip to so cal soon I would hold off the cravings.

Came here for dinner on a Wednesday, and there was no line. Ordered the chicken lollipop, which came out piping hot. Once it cooled down a bit, the chicken was perfectly crispy. Not too oily. Would recommend!

Stopped by because we were craving burritos and it's been over 7 years since I've been back. I don't remember anything from my first visit so I'm going to review it as if it was my first time again. Note the burritos are loaded with meat, lacking in rice and the other "fillers". It's a pro and a con depending on how you like your burritos. CHEZBURRITO!!: This menu item had a interesting combination of ingredients that all sounded good together so I ordered one of these (without beans). It was piping hot so beware! Not the biggest fan of bell peppers but wanted to keep it since I thought it would add a smoky flavor and it did. I enjoyed all of the meats that were included: asada, Al pastor, chorizo. Overall, I would say this is too seasoned, and actually very salty. BURRITO!!: first impression is that it's small for a burrito these days especially at $10+ (after tax). Requested no beans again, rice was sparse. Carne asada was cooked well, but again very salty. They provided 2 sauces, both of which were not too spicy. Orange was probably habanero and green had cilantro for sure, and jalapeño or Serrano if I had to guess. Both were very thin sauces compared to a lot of places.

Located behind the alliance gas station on Mathilda.El Califas Tacos is a taco truck that has pretty good tacos for the area. The "El Califas" tacos are cooked with a layer of melted cheese in the middle which is pretty unique to them. They have lots of meat choices as wellThe horchata was a also pretty good which comes in a bottle and makes it easier to shake/mix and drink.Plenty of tables outside for you to sit and eat it fresh but parking is limitedWould highly recommend checking it out and ask for extra salsa!

I was driving by Momo grill truck and decided to stop and try their food. The food menu didn't look familiar because I normally don't try food that i don't recognize. The reason why I did stop there is because the trucks look brand new and thats always a good sign. I ordered the chicken chow mein and it was hot and delicious. They weren't to busy so the owner of the truck come out to me and ask how the food was. I wish more people would do that. I gave him my response and he was happy. He also explained the menu to me so i would order something different next time. The owner was spot on with the service and quality of food. If you own a business you should eat here to learn a thing or two.

"For more than reasonable comfort Macao/Cantonese take out Hongry Kong is an excellent option. The meals were tasty and reasonable. Entrees served with rice or noodles. They also had a pretty tasty Hong Kong milk tea.Takeout Dim Sum also available. For the sampling I bought half a dozen har gao/shrimp dumpling and a handful of egg tarts. While they were pre-ordered and picked up warm, the hargao was sitting in a pool of water (from the steaming?) and we're soggy. The egg tarts were also warm with a nice flaky crust. I found the filling to be on the sweeter side, not to my liking.Would I be back? Would try some of their other dim sum next time...and for a another refreshing milk tea.Situated at a production site. Ring the doorbell for pickup (better to preorder) and staff will unlock the door to bring your order to you!"
"Deliciousness heaven especially if you are a fan of Amritsari Kulcha n Cholay!!! Tried super Vada Pav which adds to overall deliciousness n experience. The service as usual is exceptional for a Food Truck. One of my favorites in the South Bay."
"Yum!! This food truck came to my local farmers market in Japantown. I got the TFIC Special Vada Pav and I devoured it. The schezwan flavor pairs perfectly with vada pav, and it gave it that delicious indo-chinese flavor that Indians know and love.Got it with some piling hot mumbai chai, also delicious. Washed down the vada pav nicely :)"
"There's a small parking lot shared with the neighboring cafe to park at. Some of the most deeply flavored meat on a taco you can get. There's plenty of sautéed onions given with your meal and a large jalapeño. Sometimes there's a wait even with a few people but it's a treat when I come by to eat."
"Previously left 5-star reviews but downgrading to 4-star unfortunately. Been coming here for at least 5 years, but over the past 2 or so the quality is too inconsistent. The quality seems to be dependent on staff working that day. When the main older guy (Cato?) is working the quality is great. However, when he is not there the al pastor is too fatty (huge fat chunks), cut into huge chewy chunks (usually strung together), and not properly seared off (just seems to be tossed on the flat top to get warm but not actually seared like it's suppose to be). Additionally when this happens usually ingredients are sometimes missing (e.g. sour cream and cheese on the taco plate; or no salsa at all in the bag).I now look inside to see who is working. If the main guy isn't working that day I take my business elsewhere unfortunately. (I'm just speculating on the cause of the inconsistency, but it definitely seems to be tied to staff.)"
"I get that BBQ'ed meat is smoked and it should taste "smokey." But there's smokey and then there's "this should have been off the grill three weeks ago." Serious smokeage and much chewing.Sides were small. Really small. Like one scoop at a boutique ice cream store.Your mileage may vary."
"Welp, we're back into the cold, fluffy season again....where some people DGAF about spreading their cooties. If you're looking for something warm and soulful while boosting your immune system: Kadhi Kachori!A specialty at Chatpata India, Kadhi Kachori ($11.99) is North Indian Street Food of curry with a fried fritter: https://tinyurl.com/te656uwnThe turmeric-rich, yogurt-based curry is served piping hot with a large lentil fritter sliced into triangular pieces. A fantastic balance of bold tangy flavors and crispy-soft textures with the raw diced onions giving a sweet sharpness. My only gripe is I requested it to be spicy but it was more mild-medium spicy. Maybe they thought we couldn't handle the heat so requesting desi spicy next time. Equally delicious is their Dahi Sev Puri w/ potatoes, tamarind + mint cilantro chutney, yogurt, sev (8 pc - $7.99): https://tinyurl.com/2rvnu4k3The crunchy shell (semolina-based) is filled with spiced potatoes, topped with myriad of sauces, crunchy sev (fried chickpea noodles), and something tart...reminiscent of pomegranate seeds. Great contrasting textures and punchy flavors from the chutneys. Overall, Kadhi Kachori is not the easiest thing to find so Chatpata India is def worth a visit you're in the area!O T H E R I N F O* Chatpata India is food truck serving an array of vegetarian Indian food: chaats, curries, hot entrees (chana bhatura, poori chana, etc), naan, and rice. * Spice levels can be customized. * Takeout, delivery, and outdoor seating available (4 tables under a canopy). * Friendly owner and staff with prompt food service.* Plenty of parking in the plaza."
"**3.5 Stars**Fantastic Al pastor tacos with a touch of pineapple.Tried the Quesobirria but a bit too crunchy for my liking with a thicker consommé.Credit cards accepted, but cash discount and limited outdoor seating."
"One of my favorite truck food. First have a very big menu with a lot different kind of food no only fast food. They have complete dishes that including a little salad rice and beans and their presentation is always very careful and nice. They pay attention to details, like they always add extra salsa without asking a wedge of lemon, napkins and utensils. Always!!! But talking about their food is really good. Super tasteful, big portions, good quality of vegetables and meat. And the lady who is there taking the orders is very friendly and nice. Always with a big smile so that's for sure is a plus. And on top they have a new truck that it's clean, very colorful and well lighted."
"Amazing!!! Love the chicken monos. The spicy chutney is bomb.com. The services is pretty good."
"Wow! I found Eggmania through a Yelp email blast featuring "Hot New Restaurants Near You". Eggs are my favorite protein and in our family we love Indian restaurants of all types and geographies. I'd been meaning to try a similarly egg-themed Indian restaurant in San Jose, but the Eggmania menu jumped out at me for all its egg-centric sandwich, wrap, rice, and curry options. For my first visit, I tried the Egg Peri Peri sandwich and the Egg Masala sandwich by going splitsies with my 14 y.o. son. We asked to dial back the spice level a bit, yet both, especially the Egg Peri Peri, still had a decent kick. Between the two, we both preferred the Egg Masala, which seemed to feature the egg more and was actually pretty darn awesome. I also grabbed a mango lassi for the road which is always a fave as well. The Eggmania setup is also interesting. Prateek, one of the owners, took my order. He has a tech job by day and moonlights at Eggmania. Eggmania is a franchise that started in New Jersey and now also has locations in Ontario (Canada), Massachusetts, Pennsylania, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia and Texas. Prateek's local Eggmania operates out of a vacant lot with a food truck trailer, which only recently moved to this location. They are starting with the truck but I see a beautiful brick and mortar restaurant space in their future. Plus their setup with shade, seating and even fun board games, is pretty sweet. Prateek was really friendly, his passion for food and his business was unmistakable and I'm really rooting for him and his partners. Plus this isn't charity- like their story, their food is awesome."
"Fantastic. Tacos were inexpensive and tasted great. Chips and salsa were simple but also very tasty. Quesadilla was reportedly very good, although I didn't try it. Service could not have been better. Free horchata refill, how can you beat that? Very nice casual food court."
"I was randomly craving a churro one day and my boyfriend surprised me with one. It was absolutely delicious. I'd give it a 5/5 for the churro. It was very crunchy on the outside and moist inside; really good balance of cinnamon and sugar. Perfectly satisfied my craving. We also got the carne asada, el pastor, and carnitas. The carne asada is pretty good but quite salty. It's slightly dry but still chewy. El pastor texture was a bit strange. It didn't feel like stripped beef but the seasoning was really good. The carnitas weren't that fatty, which was a bit surprising.Overall, the meat was pretty lean especially for the el pastor. None of the flavors are exploding and a lot of it felt pretty subtle. I think they could improve the meat flavor with longer marination and fattier meat. It doesn't feel like the meat felt as fresh as some other taco places so maybe it became a bit dry. They also fried the tortilla really well so it was quite crispy too, great texture. It didn't seem like it was fried in oil so it wasn't overly greasy and somehow tasted like a healthy taco if there is such a thing. Also loved the radish on the side. It's a good refreshing taste after each taco. Definitely will be back for an epic churro!"
"It was ok. Food seemed expensive and it was weird there aren't clear prices posted for the most popular items. I will say there was a LOT of meat, so relative to value it's good. Overall I just found it a bit underwhelming. It was surprisingly bland. We got the quesabirria and a birria ramen. The quesabirria had a ton of meat... like an impressive amount! I wish there was more cheese though and would have like the tortillas cooked to be crispy (or at least crispier). They were way too floppy for my taste. I'd try it again if I was in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way again to go back."
"I wish I woulda took a pic of this the breakfast burrito was so good man I swear I love a good breakfast burrito...bless this place they really cooking cooking I went on my lunch and had to enjoy this Great place I'll be back"
"I've been eating food from El Taco De Oro since my coworker at a previous job introduced me to their location in Alviso about 4 years ago. I was definitely hooked after trying their tacos. Lately I've been coming across their truck parked in front of O Reilly's on El Camino next to Golfland and I gotta say, these guys keep it consistent. I've been swinging by during my lunch break to get a super burrito with carne Asada, and it's my current go to. Sure the tacos are awesome but man, just something about the way they do burritos just hits the spot every time. I also like that the food prep doesn't even take long and there usually isn't a wait when I come by. Check them out next time you're craving Mexican food, support a local small business!"
"3.5 starsOrdered thru DoorDash. They did the packaging pretty nicely , and packed each salsa flavor and the cooked onions and lime wedges to go with the tacos. Got two Al pastor and one chicharone flavor for the tacos. The chicharones was kind of soggy , I thought it would be crispy like the chip so it was a bit of a let down. The Al pastor was alright, the variety of salsas provided was very nice. The light green flavor avocado salsa was my favorite one and the light orange colored salsa was surprisingly spicy."
"Pros:- Great selection of food at a very reasonable price! My personal favorite was the taco plate ($14) that comes with 3 tacos + side of price and beans. Have to try the other stuff next time!- Fast! The food truck owner was friendly and got food out quick- Seats and tents right next to the truck which makes it easier to enjoy the food right after you order and not have to just take it homeCons:- It is behind a gas station which could turn some ppl off due to smell and grittiness of the area- Parking can be limited since it is in a tiny lot and no street parking for at least a block awayOverall- Excellent food, authentic dishes, and will definitely be back!"
"This is my favorite Indian food truck!! Food is absolutely amazing and the staff are so kind and down to earth. They gave us great recommendations when we didn't know what to order and we loved everything we got, in addition to being able to customize spice level as I am not someone who can handle my heat. My meal was the perfect spice level for me. They have a cute seating area with string lights and heaters for evening visits, and plenty of tables and chairs so don't shy away coming with a group. Meals came with paratha, rice, raita, and a gulab Jamun. Curries and main dishes were a generous portion that I wasn't able to finish. Falooda and mango lassi were both 10/10 compliments to the meal as well. Overall highly recommend this spot! Will be back next time I'm craving Indian food."
"Definitely hits the spot. Their califa taco (especially the asada) is super delicious with some cheese between the traditional smaller corn tortillas and some crispy delicious asada. They also provide some sweet caramelized onions and radish with a little like. Yum. Horchata (comes in their own labeled bottle) was really good as well."
"Yelp says closed, but they are indeed open.I've been to the Sunnyvale location for tacos, but since moving to Santa Clara, I'm super close this one now!Ordered 2 burritos:-super steak and lengua, $14 eaNo wait, and food came out pretty quickly. We were provided chips (not sure if they are included in burritos or not), but they were super stale, so might have gotten a bad batch.I'll be back here to try the tacos! Self serve salsa here.Parking in the lot is easy to find."
"I was fortunate to stop by since I was on my home from Mtn. View. I was craving vada pav and wanted to treat myself by splurging on a very big dinner that I can enjoy a few sittings of. The service was quite fast. Luckily, I was only behind a couple, but as I was waiting for my order a few people came and stood in line, so it might be busy. I ordered chicken biriyani, vada pav, and chicken momos. I am a little ashamed to admit that it only took me 2 sittings to finish everything. Everything was that good. The vada pav was my favorite. The momos took me back to Bini's Kitchen in SF. It was so juicy! The chicken biriyani was flavorful w/ each bite. Accepts cards. I loved it!"
"Wowzers! They need a sixth star! This little food truck has a lot of big flavor. It is so good that I didn't want to give this review because, then EVERYONE would come over here and the lines would be too long! But I really love the food, and I can't wait to try their other offerings!THEY HAVE PUPUSAS!!! Yaaaaay! After many other of my favorite Salvadoran places that served pupusas closed down soon after the pandemic, I was afraid that no others would replace them.Along comes Paper Platez and I am blown away. I went straight for the Salvadoran menu, naturally, and ordered the pork papusas and a Salvadoran tamale. If you never had a papusas, it is a stuffed pancake made with maize and stuffed with meat, beans, cheese or loroco or a combination with cheese. It is delicious! But here, the outside was crispy! A CRISPY PAPUSAS?? YES!! And it works!! It really fired off my saliva glands, it was so flavorful!I had some room for my tamale, and the first bite was sinfully good. The look on my face looked like I just . . . use your imagination here . . . But I was in heaven! It takes something really special food-wise to make me cry with joy. The texture was ultra creamy and just melted in my mouth! The flavor of the meat and the seasoned maize (and this, I think, contributed to the umami here). This had to be one of, if not the most delightful, memorable, delicious eating experience I have had in ages. Highly recommended. Paper Platez is deliciously open from 11:00am and closes at 9:00pm. I am going there again to try some of their other delicacies!"
