"So I *think* this is the same restaurant listed as "Golden Bowl LLC" in Doordash (which I ordered from) - same address, and I saw an old Yelp picture of tofu skin salad with celery which looks like what I ordered. Everything came wrapped in plastic wrap, which I've never seen - it was plastic wrap, lid, then another layer of plastic wrap! I thought "Wow, they really go above and beyond to make sure there are no leaks and the food stays hot!" Um no. Turns out the round lids are a different size than the round bowls. I couldn't close them together. So I guess the restaurant figured this double plastic-wrapping would be the solution to bottoms and tops that don't fit together. Aside from this strange issue and the portions being smaller than other restaurants, the food was pretty good! We had a special $10 off promo from Doordash, so we got:- Griddle Cooked Shrimp - SO loves ganguo (griddle cooked/dry pot) so he really liked the flavors and was sucking every last drop from the shrimp heads- Tofu Skin Salad with Celery - this was ok, wish the tofu skin was thicker and softer- Hot & Spicy Chicken Wings - this was pretty good too!- Pork Pot Sticker - decent, prefer the potstickers from Apple Green Bistro- Shredded Pork with Garlic Sauce - really solid for fans of yu xiang rou si- Broccoli with Tofu - tasty sauce and fresh broccoli and tofuWorth a try!"
"Food trucks are yay or nay for me.Most of the time they are simply too far away for me and with other constraints at play, usually grab something closer to home. Second, the majority of the burger trucks I've sampled are cooked way too well for me since mine have to be medium rare. I blame the thin patties as well as other possible factors because it is a truck and not a full kitchen.Boy was I wrong.I had one of the juiciest burgers in a long time and it came from Eat On Monday. What a surprise. The menu is simple: burgers (with the exception of the Fried Chicken Club (UFC), Pulled Pork Sandwich, and Veggie Burger) and fries. There are no distractions, no fluff, nothing. Burgers presented were: -Bacon Blue Cheese Burger -Classic Cheese Burger-Chipotle CheeseburgerI ordered the Chipotle Cheeseburger : local grass fed beef, cheddar cheese, spicy chipotle sauce, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, and an Acme bun.SF/Berkeley love their Acme bread so the minute I saw that, I knew what I was in for: amazingness. After waiting only about 5 minutes, my burger was done. When I opened the container, was wowed by the sight. It was the perfect burger. Juicy looking, melted cheese swirling with the chipotle sauce and the caramelized onions + gravity coaxed it over the side of the patty. It was also done perfectly medium rare. The fusion of all the ingredients created a pretty damn good burger and I'm also happy to report that my fingers were all messy, so make sure you grab a few napkins. A burger that doesn't leave a mess is not my kind of burger. We also ordered the plain french fries with sea salt and the spiced fries. Try them both. You will not be disappointed. Now for a milkshake...................Good burgers, good fries, and a great staff/operation that checks you in/out with no issues.Bravo!"
"Yummy burgers, lots of fries, good shakesWe would eat here again. More annoyed that I have to type more than I want just to post this review."
"Proposition Chicken (aka "Prop Chicken") is a menu option inside Local Kitchens@ Mountain View. The Prop Chicken menu consists of the popular items such as entrees, sandwiches, salads, and sides (fries and biscuits). Prop Chicken comes in three types: Fried, Flipped, and Fake. Fried is fried chicken. Flipped is roasted chicken. Fake is Tofu. I have ordered food at the real Prop Chicken in Oakland, and this food from Local Kitchens is exactly the same. Same flavor and quality. On a Sunday evening, using the Local Kitchen's App, I ordered the Flipped Chicken Entree. That's roast chicken (leg, thigh, and 1/2 breast), a salad, and a buttermilk biscuit. (Cost: $14). How was the chicken? That chicken was HOT, and the biscuit was soft. No complaints. I picked up my own order at the counter. Service was fast and professional."
"I didn't like their biryani at all!!!I ordered one boneless chicken biryani and veg dum biryani.Chicken biryani- it was very dry and overly spicy.Veg biryani- I don't know what masala they made, but it didn't taste good and it overly spicy as well. But the quantity of food is pretty huge. I think 3 people can eat in one plate!"
"I've been on the hunt for the best Taiwanese braised pork rice. I came across Drooling Kitchen on my search in Yelp. There's no actual store but you can order online and choose from either pick up or delivery. The place wasn't far from me so I went to pick up.The arrangements are done through text and payment is done by a few apps and cash. Cash is easier to handle with if you have it handy which I did. When making the order, place ahead of time so you can confirm pick up time with them. The owner said it wouldn't take long and it didn't. Picking up was easy to park on the side and messaging her that you've arrived. The braised pork was a decent portion of pork, veggies and rice. The egg I thought was going to be the typical tea egg but it was a fried egg instead. The pork and sauce were sweet and tasty. The veggie was light tasting so healthy to consume. Rice was cooked fine. Not dry or too moist. It was worth trying this braised pork rice from this new business. I'd order again if I'm in the mood for it."
"I tried their traditional lasagna and it was fantastic!Way better than those fake ones sold at Maggiano or Whole Foods with mozzarella or garlic. Plus, all their ingredients are ORGANIC! Last but not least, give the Vegetariana a try. It's the one in my photo below. You'll thank me later."
"There's not that many bagel spots in San Jose, which I would love to see more of, but City Bagels is definitely up there. I like how they're located in the heart of a busy downtown. They're a hole in the wall that can be easy to miss, but once you find them you'll quickly realize why they're that one necessary stop on everyone's daily commutes. So crazy how there's a dispensary located right next to it now (such a San Jose thing lol). I got the #12 which was a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and a plain cheese bagel. And baby, that sandwich was hella hot and made with love from the ancestors because the cheese was melting, dripping on my finger and everything. A solid, convenient breakfast spot if you're looking for something made fresh and quick out the door, or sit and just have a coffee and read the paper. They got a variety of drinks on the menu as well as boba!"
"Dat Q BBQ be realll good. I saw them advertise on Facebook a couple of times but I basically live on the exact opposite side of the bay from them, so had to ignore my BBQ cravings. They just participated in an independent vendor event in Hayward, which gave me a good opportunity to have a closer place to procure some barbecue! It's an amazing deal for the taste, skill, and portions that go into the food. Love a good man trying to feed people with good food instead of someone just tryna make bank. A plate of brisket was $15, ribs $14, chicken $12, and pork belly burnt ends (a la carte) were $10. First of all, the burnt ends?!?!? Fire in the mouth. Fire and fat, more like. That smoky burn on them was phenomenal - it was caramelized, almost candied meat melting in your mouth mixing with fatty, BBQ goodness. Yum, next time I need two helpings of these...The other BBQ meats included two sides. The brisket was my favorite meat. Big slices smoked well, tender, forkable, and a good amount of fat. The chicken was pretty good and tender as well. The ribs were huge, but I had a dry piece. I can't fault them so much, as I think ribs are one of the harder meats to get just perfect if you're cooking en masse. What made these meats really good was the generous spread of BBQ sauce all over them - so tangy, sweet, smoky, and delicious! For sides, they only had mac n' cheese and loaded potato salad available. And geez, both of these things were loaded. The mac came in a huge block (they came straight from the pan they baked it in), and was so thick and cheesy. Great when reheated a bit! The loaded potato salad was, uh, far from a salad! I mean, it was loaded with EVERY caloric heavy item! So much sour cream was mixed into it - someone knows how to make people full... There was also a generous amount of bacon crumbles, and freshly chopped green onions mixed within. Very yummy, very heavy, and a very unique, creamy spin on the potato salad.Love the Q, and would come for the Q any time they're closer to me! For the value and portions of their BBQ obviously cooked with heart, Dat Q BBQ is definitely one of the best BBQ providers of the bay area."
"Get your kimbap fix from here! I think it's a pop up store as I haven't been to the store physically. Thank you DoorDash. I always get the chive potstickers, Oden soup, and of course kimbaps, I've tried them all and they are all delicious. Would recommend this place if you're too busy/lazy to wrap your own."

Heard this service from my neighbor. I ordered beef with peppercorn, egg salted custard mooncakes, and sweet sago with papaya.First we received an email confirmation along with our order also the pickup place. However, they didn't provide any tracking or the exact time when the food will be ready to be picked up. They provided the phone number of the pick up location, even so, they only said food will be ready after four pm. They should have said it in the very beginning. Why I gave this service two stars?Because the sweet sago dessert with papaya was NOT even edible. I posted the pictures of before and after I touched the food. First I tasted the sago that looked yellow cream with few mini tapioca balls, the taste was very weird. Like you had a sour coconut cream that had been sitting in the fridge for so long. That exact same taste and odor. So I tried to heat the dessert up, since my neighbor said it's supposed to be served hot. It still tasted the same weird flavor, very punget odor of broken/ sour coconut milk, I couldn't even digest it so I had to throw the whole dish. Glad it was only costed me $3.50. I'd already have asked for a refund if it costed me more than $5. Mooncakes:Another disaapointing dish. I don't read/speak chinese. However, they didn't provide any instruction in English that the mooncakes were supposed to be heated up in microwave for about 5-7seconds upon serving. They posted an instruction but in mandarin on the back of the package. How was I even suppose to know? Very disorganized.I tried to heat up the mooncakes a day after, and they were not even melted at the center. Such a dissapointment. Will not buy from this service anymore.

A friend of mine recently contacted me saying she was looking for food trucks for her daughter's upcoming event. I laughed, because she said she checked out Eat on Monday on Yelp and saw that I had written multiple reviews and that most of their pictures were from me. Ha ha! Well, they ARE my #favoritefoodtruck. So here's something new. On my last visit, I saw that Eat on Monday had two new condiments available. Did you know Eat on Monday makes its own BBQ and Ranch? Well now you do. You're welcome.

We really wanted to try burger den. My son is a hamburger kind of guy. But when we got to the location was Denny's. We looked at other locations, zoom up on a map at the area and it's Denny's. So, there may not be any more Burger den. Rather disappointed.

***THIS REVIEW IS JUST FOR PROPOSITION CHICKEN AS A VENDOR SERVED AT LOCAL KITCHENS AND NOT FOR THE LOCAL KITCHENS FOOD HALL AS A WHOLE***Personally, I am not the biggest fan of fried chicken. It's just not my go-to when it comes to fried food and so I don't have it often. That being said, one of the beauties of Local Kitchens is that it's open late and so when I finished work late one weeknight, I decided to come here and try something I had never ordered.I ordered the fried chicken with the goddess and buffalo ranch sauces as well as the garlic Parmesan fries. Despite not enjoying fried chicken, I am foodie enough to know that it's all about the batter. They definitely have a good spiced coating for their chicken that made it delicious. The fries were made with fresh garlic (always a good sign) and were tasty. The dips were also good and rather unique especially the goddess dressing dip.Overall, a decent place if you enjoy fried chicken. Like I said, I'm don't really eat fried chicken so I'm probably not going to rush to this place anytime soon. However, if there's another late night and/or I'm craving fried chicken, then I will definitely keep this place in mind.

Lasagna, it's the comfort food that I wish I had the time to cook because I love it so much, yet I never dedicate the time. That's where Sugo. Cooking comes in to fulfill my lasagna cravings! I was walking around the Burlingame Farmers Market this past sunday, and noticed they were selling ready-made orders of lasagna, packaged neatly inside a container. I haven't had a solid lasagna in a real long time, and I saw that they use handmade noodles and everything is made from scratch. The real sell point for me was that they use a bechamel sauce. In my mind, if lasagna doesn't have the bechamel, there's no way I'm going to like it lol I went with their traditional lasagna (their truffle was sold out :/, gotta get there earlier next time) and it was delicious. Heating was simple, 3 minutes in the microwave at 50% power. The noodles were buttery soft, the bechamel was tasty, and overall one of the tastiest lasagna I've ever had. My only regret was that I didn't buy more. The portion size was perfect my big appetite. It's one of those dishes that I would love to have on hand when I'm feeling too lazy to cook. They are at various farmers markets in the Peninsula and South Bay, highly recommend dropping by if you are looking for affordable, tasty, homemade, and authentic Italian food! You can pre-order half-trays of lasagnas and pick up at a local farmers market that they are at. Definitely look forward to trying their other pasta sauces and offerings!

"This is virtual restaurant, running out of Amici's pizza on Castro Street. Seems like Doordash figures out restaurant opportunities in an a given area and asks existing partners if they want to create this virtual restaurant. Amici's has a nice explanation of this on their website. Which makes sense. There are no wingstops or anything like that in the Mountain View area.So after this amazing discovery, we were able to order awesome Amici's pizza and wings from the virtual restaurant. All the items are available on their website under Starters and Sides, with free delivery, pizza restaurant style. On superbowl sunday, we got a bunch of pizzas, and twenty piece of the Flame Roast Lemon Chicken Wings, and another twenty of the BBQ Chicken Wings. Both were good. They were wings and little drumsticks mixed together. One guy here can't eat spicy, so we opted for mild spiciness on both. But they did come with a nice spicy ranch sauce. Definitely bingeworthy wings. Friendly on time delivery."
"4.5 StarsHow could you go wrong with a CCC?A small store offering takeout-only giant cookies (think Levain and Crumbl style) and bottles of milk.Served warm, these cookies are decadently sweet, rich, enormous, gooey on the inside, and crispy on the outside - all presented in a box. On Tuesdays, a box of four is only $10! :)My only concern is that they only come in a box of four. If I were alone and not with my boyfriend (a.k.a. the cookie monster), I definitely would have passed. No point eating a fourth of a cookie and leaving the rest. The other flavors look amazing (ube, cookies and cream, chocolate mint, etc.)."
"Por primera vez vine a disfrutar un platillo de esta comida,Y quede fascinado así que les recomiendo venir a probar es muy delicioso pero un poco picante , y el personal es amable se toman el tiempo de explicar sobre los platillos por si no estás familiarizado con esta rica comida,Thank you swaraj Indian"
"First time here with 5 families of friends. The occasion was a send off for our girls going off to college and the experience is one we are all going to cherish. The ambience is homey and comfy, the food was fresh and well made without the typical all curries one flavor, each dish was made well What was exceptional and made it memorable was the service given by Pradjot( he was charming, genuinely caring, and so tolerant of all our little needs and requests) , he not only made us happy, he went over and beyond hospitality. Thank you so much, Pradjot ( he was sweet enough to give us a song too. Bikanos will always be a special memory for us."
"Dosa cravings satisfied - crispy perfection with a burst of flavors.Very easy to order and pickup."
"The place has a sketchy entrance since you have to go through a hallway and you aren't greeted by anyone. I had to go all way to the kitchen to get my order, but the food overall was good! For the price, it was big portions with lots of flavor into it! My favorite was the carbonara and tiramisu!"
"Nothing extraordinary but solid burrito. Better than reviews are saying. I ordered the bacon breakfast burrito!"
"Place is devious, I only get the build my own vegan burger it's super tasty. The fries are skimpy and wish you can order a separate side of fries. The shakes are average. Them vegan burgers tho! I love them!"
"I OD'ed on O-toro here. Lunch was a cool $50, but the quality of the sashimi was very excellent. My gf eats high end sushi Much more often than I do, and her lunch set her back a cool$75, because nigiri , hand rolls, and sashimi slices run smaller than average at this small sushi joint---Still, for a bistro-type atmosphere, I know now to expect to pay $10-15 more, but the ineffable satisfaction of having really good fish stands out for me!"
"Favorite sandwich spot in San Carlos. I regularly order is the breakfast sandwich and Roma's Club "
"Late review. My kids were wanting to try a veggie burger during lent. It was kinda late but came across this and thought to check it out. Thinking it's a burger specialty spot. They drive to the address listed. Only to find out it's just a Denny's. Anyhow, they went in to make their take out orders and the wait was just ridiculous. Almost an hour before they got their order. They picked up one for myself and I just have to say their veggie burger was tolerable because I was starving. It just mostly tasted like beans. All the condiments could not mask it. All I tasted was beans. Nothing to wow about at all. So sad."
"From ordering the food all the way to eating the food at home, every step of this process was excellent! You get a variety of amazing food delivered to your door without having to pay a bunch of additional fees like other delivery services.Ordering: Simply select the date and meal (lunch or dinner) to see the menu. There's great images for all the items and it indicates which chef is making this order. They also have snacks, desserts, and grocery items from other vendors. There is a cut-off time for each meal so be wary of that. Overall the website was extremely easy and user-friendly.Preparation/Delivery: I received a confirmation text of my order and you can also request on the website for them to email you a receipt. I received another text to notify me that my food was out for delivery. It also included a link for me to get real-time updates on ETA, track where my order is on a map, and how many stops away it is from me. Finally, I received one more text confirming the food arrived.Food: I ordered the following --Crispy Chicken Thighs: AMAZING! Super crispy skin and incredibly juicy meat. Very flavorful and surprisingly not oily. The portion was also pretty large!50 pcs Frozen Dumplings Stuffed with Minced Pork and Chinese Cabbage: The meat filling was incredibly flavorful and the dumpling wrap was perfect -- not too thick nor thing. Very easy meal for a lazy night. Only need to boil a pot of water and throw in the dumplings.Lady M Matcha Cake: pretty cool that they have different vendors on here too. Lady M cakes are always great! VERY strong matcha flavor for all you matcha-lovers!Great food, highly affordable. Will definitely try other items on their menu!"
"It's Denny's, but under another name for delivery services like DoorDash and Uber eats. The quality is the same as the official Denny's review.Check the address, menu, and pictures."
"Wow... This food is amazing, fresh Indian cuisine made out of scratch, spiced just right!!!"
"Best burger in town! Also, they have amazing shakes, tots, dogs, etc... just go, it's awesome!"
"I saw this on doordash and decided to try. I ordered the garlic shrimp appetizer and spaghetti carbonara. I had high expectations from $17.99 appetizer and I got this instead; doesn't have a good flavor either. The carbonara was about $26.99 and my mom's pasta is way better. Maybe others might like it, but not for me. Wouldn't recommend."
