Nathan L. "There's not that many bagel spots in San Jose, which I would love to see more of, but City Bagels is definitely up there. I like how they're located in the heart of a busy downtown. They're a hole in the wall that can be easy to miss, but once you find them you'll quickly realize why they're that one necessary stop on everyone's daily commutes. So crazy how there's a dispensary located right next to it now (such a San Jose thing lol). I got the #12 which was a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and a plain cheese bagel. And baby, that sandwich was hella hot and made with love from the ancestors because the cheese was melting, dripping on my finger and everything. A solid, convenient breakfast spot if you're looking for something made fresh and quick out the door, or sit and just have a coffee and read the paper. They got a variety of drinks on the menu as well as boba!"

"So I *think* this is the same restaurant listed as "Golden Bowl LLC" in Doordash (which I ordered from) - same address, and I saw an old Yelp picture of tofu skin salad with celery which looks like what I ordered. Everything came wrapped in plastic wrap, which I've never seen - it was plastic wrap, lid, then another layer of plastic wrap! I thought "Wow, they really go above and beyond to make sure there are no leaks and the food stays hot!" Um no. Turns out the round lids are a different size than the round bowls. I couldn't close them together. So I guess the restaurant figured this double plastic-wrapping would be the solution to bottoms and tops that don't fit together. Aside from this strange issue and the portions being smaller than other restaurants, the food was pretty good! We had a special $10 off promo from Doordash, so we got:- Griddle Cooked Shrimp - SO loves ganguo (griddle cooked/dry pot) so he really liked the flavors and was sucking every last drop from the shrimp heads- Tofu Skin Salad with Celery - this was ok, wish the tofu skin was thicker and softer- Hot & Spicy Chicken Wings - this was pretty good too!- Pork Pot Sticker - decent, prefer the potstickers from Apple Green Bistro- Shredded Pork with Garlic Sauce - really solid for fans of yu xiang rou si- Broccoli with Tofu - tasty sauce and fresh broccoli and tofuWorth a try!"

Low-key quality sandwich spot in San Carlos.Stopped in here for lunch with a friend today and was surprised at how broad the menu was; I've walked by multiple times and always thought the place didn't look like much, but looks can be deceiving.I ordered the Ami-Cado, which came with pastrami, salami, avocado, Lou's special sauce, and your usually sandwich fixings. It came on a noticeably shiny piece of sourdough bread. The saltiness of the pastrami worked well with the sweetness of Lou's special sauce, and the lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles kept the sandwich from being overly salty. The sourdough bread had that satisfy crisp that only sourdough can have.It didn't look like a big sandwich, but the Ami-Cado satisfied my hunger. And the price point was awesome: around $12.50 before tax. If you want a good simple sandwich, Lou's is the spot. A little higher than Ike's in quality, I'd say.

Heard this service from my neighbor. I ordered beef with peppercorn, egg salted custard mooncakes, and sweet sago with papaya.First we received an email confirmation along with our order also the pickup place. However, they didn't provide any tracking or the exact time when the food will be ready to be picked up. They provided the phone number of the pick up location, even so, they only said food will be ready after four pm. They should have said it in the very beginning.Why I gave this service two stars?Because the sweet sago dessert with papaya was NOT even edible. I posted the pictures of before and after I touched the food. First I tasted the sago that looked yellow cream with few mini tapioca balls, the taste was very weird. Like you had a sour coconut cream that had been sitting in the fridge for so long. That exact same taste and odor. So I tried to heat the dessert up, since my neighbor said it's supposed to be served hot. It still tasted the same weird flavor, very punget odor of broken/ sour coconut milk, I couldn't even digest it so I had to throw the whole dish. Glad it was only costed me $3.50. I'd already have asked for a refund if it costed me more than $5. Mooncakes:Another disaapointing dish. I don't read/speak chinese. However, they didn't provide any instruction in English that the mooncakes were supposed to be heated up in microwave for about 5-7seconds upon serving. They posted an instruction but in mandarin on the back of the package. How was I even suppose to know? Very disorganized.I tried to heat up the mooncakes a day after, and they were not even melted at the center. Such a dissapointment. Will not buy from this service anymore.

Such an amazing and wholesome experience. Being a North Indian , I always enjoy some good Rajasthani meal. We went here last night, Bikanos and Bikaner Sweet is owned by same person but their menu and kitchen is different as Bikaner sweets is vegetarian only and Bikanos is not. But you can order from Bikaner sweets and sit at Bikanos to enjoy your meal.Coming to the food part, we had Pani puri (9/10) , Raj Kachori (8/10), Onion Kachori (10/10) , Chole bhature (8/10) , Malai Kofta (10/10), Kulcha (2/10) very hard , Garlic Naan (6/10) , Aloo Bedmi (7/10), Gatte ki sabji (1/10) not good at all! , Jalebi (1000/10) soo fresh and crispy!!! I'm definitely coming back for the Kachori and Jalebi :)

One of the best Vada Paav & Bread Pattice I have ever had in USA so far. Vada paav is extremely delicious and comes with three chutneys. Original taste of vada paav is neither too mild nor too spicy. Its perfectly balanced. However, you can definitely add flavors of these chutneys to alter the spice level of vada paav.Bread pattice is also a must to try.

Got home late from work and the fam was hungry! I was hesitant as I'm super picky on Italian food but I did it ... door dash came and they packaged it all perfectly. Cold items were in one Bach and hot in the other... the hit actually arrives HOT!!!! Very impressed with delivery. Tossed each pasta so that the sauce on the bottom coated it all back up and they shimmered back to life and all tasted really well. We had left overs for two days and each time even better.Penne all's vodka was the fav. Spaghetti and meatballs my kid ate it all... every little meatball. Spaghetti bolognese was left over night and I mixed in what was left of chicken parm. Chicken park was a little over cooked so tastes better in the pasta next night. Salad dressing was good, wish we had a little more. They even packaged little parm cheese and pestos. We will def be getting again.

THE GOOD:This has the potential to be a good burger service. For a little more than what you would pay at a fast food restaurant, you get a 1/3lb (1/2lb?) burger built the way you want it with a good selection of cheeses, sauces and toppings. The price also includes thick-cut seasoned steak fries (or other options), which were really good. It's not premium meat, but it's not bad, and it wasn't too greasy. It's all on a big sesame seed bun. Also, kudos for not begging for a tip for pickup service.THE BAD:Green leaf lettuce is used on their burgers. For the love of all that's holy, the world needs to STOP using green leaf lettuce on burgers. It doesn't work. It just gets wilted and gross. Anyone caught putting green leaf lettuce on a burger needs to be tried for witchcraft and summarily burned at the stake. Iceberg lettuce on a burger is objectively better. They also got my order wrong (wrong cheese, no sauce). It looked like they just gave me their default, which wasn't the end of the world, but it's disappointing. It would've been better if I got what I ordered.

Seems like Doordash figures out restaurant opportunities in an a given area and asks existing partners if they want to create this virtual restaurant. Amici's has a nice explanation of this on their website. Which makes sense. There are no wingstops or anything like that in the Mountain View area.So after this amazing discovery, we were able to order awesome Amici's pizza and wings from the virtual restaurant. All the items are available on their website under Starters and Sides, with free delivery, pizza restaurant style.On superbowl sunday, we got a bunch of pizzas, and twenty piece of the Flame Roast Lemon Chicken Wings, and another twenty of the BBQ Chicken Wings. Both were good. They were wings and little drumsticks mixed together. One guy here can't eat spicy, so we opted for mild spiciness on both. But they did come with a nice spicy ranch sauce. Definitely bingeworthy wings. Friendly on time delivery."

They drive to the address listed. Only to find out it's just a Denny's. Anyhow, they went in to make their take out orders and the wait was just ridiculous. Almost an hour before they got their order. They picked up one for myself and I just have to say their veggie burger was tolerable because I was starving. It just mostly tasted like beans. All the condiments could not mask it. All I tasted was beans. Nothing to wow about at all. So sad."
