"Great place to come after a visit at Stanford. I would highly recommend this place for the best chai you have ever had! Also the crepes are delicious and good size! You have to try the savory crepes but don't forget the sweet for dessert! We will definitely make this a regular spot for breakfast or lunch!"
"Cool lil cart. Coconut whip delicious. And so are the crepes. Has its own vibe and specialty of different flavors. Glad this is nearby and convenient for healthcare workers."

"Came for a walk at Oakridge mall and finally decided to give this place a try. The taste was delicious and soft! I cannot wait to come back again for a sweet tooth !"
"A welcome addition to Fremont! The owners are super nice and accommodating even with three very loud and rambunctious toddlers. We ordered many a crepe, including the salmon, garlic chicken, and pizza crepe along with borsh (soup) and a sweet Nutella crepe. All were delicious and HUGE. We had to pack a lot of food to go and I'm excited to eat it later. That's when you know the food is good.In an area wanting for healthy options, they also have smoothies and fresh pressed juice. I mean, we heard the juicer going and it's a monster. They are Jamba Juice without all the additives. Everything is real, and everything is fresh!Hoping they stay around for a while!"
"Came here for a team lunch and I was a little worried because I am gluten free and have a co-worker who is a vegetarianWhen it was time to order I asked the staff what I could eat and they offered the Cevapi, no bread and salad instead - it was wonderful!! the sausage were yummy, the salad was fresh and lightly dressed, the sausage was super tasty with the sausages. My co-worker was able to order the Burek - spinach and cheese - and said it was really tasty, light and flakeyDefinitely swing by and give this place a try!"
"This is the best local coffee shop around, with fantastic baked goods made at their other store and homemade breakfast. And they roasted their own coffee beans as well!"
"Thurs 9:30am:Couldn't be easier to get here, located directly across the street from the West Portal MUNI station, K, L, & M lines. The 17 is steps away, & the 48 stops in front of the restaurant. The large interior space can accommodate many people & is kid friendly. The interior design is elevated cafeteria. Large open kitchen, high ceilings with arty large pendant lights. Groovy molded white plastic chairs. 14 tables plus counter space. Love the chartreuse tiled wall. Very clean inside. The usual laptop encampment nursing a glass of water. I know, lost cause. Buy something people. The service was excellent. You walk in, consult the huge menu board, order & pay at the counter. My waiter was super friendly & attentive. Zero complaints here. Shazam app informed me I'm listing to rather loud rock bands like OneRepublic, twentyone pilots, & Tate McRae, suitable for fast pace exercise classes. I'm officially old as I've never heard of any of these groups, except Nickelback singing 'How You Remind Me'.On to the main event, Avocado Toast, bacon, egg, fruit cup. Being a crabby gourmet I'd rate my meal a serviceable 3 star, ok enough. At least the toast was actually toasted! Why do restaurants give you those lame knives that force you to tear apart the bread like an angry squirrel? Only 2 places I've been gave me a serrated steak knife. Anyway, I digress. Avocado mash was similar to guacamole without the extra flavor. Egg was perfectly cooked to order. Wasted $7 on fatty, undercooked bacon that I didn't eat. The fruit cup was typical for a place with corn syrup ketchup, salt & pepper shakers unchanged since the 40s. The cubes of strawberries & pineapple tasted ok, melon cubes underripe. No artisan items here, no problem. Hey, beer on tap! Bubbly! Bottomless Mimosas for 90 minutes. Bloody Mary's!Despite my crabby nature, I'll recommend S&G for a quick meal when you're shopping in West Portal. Try an omelette, what could go wrong?"
"Service here is great. Our waitress came by to check on us couple times to make sure everything's good. Food came out fairly quick. The interior gives me a nostalgic feeling of the 2000s :)Would come back more often since it's close by and the food portion was huge."
"This is such a great spot to have a quick bite and get your morning coffee! I really enjoy their outdoor tables and the dining space here. I love grabbing a book to read sitting outside because they have lots of tables available. Their salmon crepe is my favorite here, and I love how soft their crepe batter is. The iced vanilla soy latte is my go-to here, and everything tastes delicious."
"Love their crepe and fun drinks The service is good too You should try it The ambience is wonderful"

Had an amazing experience a few weeks ago at Bistro Maxine! This place reminds me of a cute French cafe with their outdoor seating ambiance and delicious crepes. We came here around 1PM on Saturday for a late coffee and brunch. There was luckily no wait even though we came on a Saturday and got a great table outside with an umbrella. For drinks, we ordered a chai latte and a hot chocolate. Both drinks really hit the spot! I was really impressed by how pretty they looked as well. We ordered a crepe and French toast in the mean time. The food was really tasty. I loved that they both looked so pretty and tasted just as good. This place has the perfect French cafe vibes and I highly recommend coming here for coffee and/or brunch!!

So I've actually had coffee from them a few times to give it an honest go. First time we had it was early in the month. I had an Iced Kona Latte, my wife had the Crème brûlée and we shared a banana bread slice we actually waited awhile to get. My Iced latte was ok, it had a subtle macadamia hit to it. The crème brûlée was kind of sweet but had a nutty background to it. The banana bread slice we had was actually very dry so we passed on eating it after I had a bite. Second go round she ordered a fancy latte and I had a sip. Again, it was ok. Just didn't do it for me. I want to like it, it's in front of the hospital where they enter and exit so it's convenient when I pick her up.

At a prominently located Gelato shop in the mall, the display of various ice cream flavors looked incredibly tempting. I randomly chose the Panna Cotta with Blackberry flavor. The ice cream had a delicate and smooth texture, mixed with blackberry jam. The rich creamy aroma of the ice cream, combined with the sweet and tangy flavor of the blackberry jam, made the taste even more delightful. I'll definitely come back next time to try other flavors.

There's definitely a homey feel at Lucy's Crepes. The food portions were generous and filling. I liked the taste and texture of the crepe itself, too. The salted salmon wasn't as salty as I was expecting, which I liked. The strawberry Nutella crepe was as expected and they did not skimp on the filling here either. The berry punch and mint lemonade were both good, and the strawberry smoothie tasted healthier than most. I've never tried borsch before, but since I'd heard about it in the past, I gave it a try. The flavor was light, but it wasn't bland. I thought it was served with condiments and bread. I realized later, on the menu it says cream and green onion are optional. They didn't ask me about it, though. I'll be back to try some other items like the tea and sweets.

I've never tried Bosnian food before and I hadn't known that there was a location near me! It has a small interior so seats may fill up quick depending on the day, but you can call ahead and reserve a table. I ordered the meat burek which had ground meat and a flakey dough that was perfect to share and have as an appetizer. There have half a size of their main dish with sausages and a full size which is honestly so filling. The side of sour cream and red sauce (which isn't spicy) and onions does pair very well with it. I tried the half spicy half regular sausage sandwich and another time. I ordered the 10 sausage sandwich and I think they're both so well-made and you can't go wrong with them. I also find the meats to be very flavorful and the bread is to die for I would honestly just have it on its own if I could.

Was seated quickly on a Saturday afternoon around 12p. Food took a bit of time to arrive even though it was somewhat empty, but the staff were really nice. Food was fine, would have liked more potatoes. The potato seasonings weren't evenly distributed, so I got a lot of wood-iness from the rosemary. Haven't been here in over 10 years and wanted to try it again, but might come back to try something else.

This spot is a familiar place for locals, thus its warming when you think of this spot.AMBIANCE:Parking: Plaza parking. You really shouldn't have an issue finding a spot.Seating: Inside seating great for pairs and small/large groups.Vibes: Welcome to Evergreen! It's nothing too flashy, no downtown but a pretty diverse suburban area. The restaurant itself is split into two, a pub and an inn. Nothing too flashy, your usual restaurant with retro designs. You're welcomed with the sounds of the hustle and bustle and customers chatting. Great place if you want to keep things lowkey.FOOD:California Scramble (Recommend)A lovely medley of eggs, broccoli, mushroom, cheese, and hollandaise sauce. A good portion of veggies making it savory and healthy. A side it hash browns gave it some extra comfort.CUSTOMER SERVICE:Awesome! We had Emily (not the owner) as our server and she professional and friendly.TL; DR OVERALL:4.5 Stars. This place has a special place in my heart and I'm sure for many locals. The food is good, the portions are great, all at a reasonable price. Whenever I'm home, these are comforting spots that makes Evergreen, Evergreen. Thank you to Hector, Emily and the rest of the team for their work!TIPS:*Undecided? Check out the owner's specials or ask the workers

"Very good selection of breakfast / brunch menu. All the items are named after European soccer teams. Quantity and item selection is good.Service is good but we were here when it was mostly empty. The ambiance is very casual and feels like a neighborly joint."
"I love this coffee shop's maple scone, strawberry scone, and cinnamon latte. The service is good. The atmosphere could be improved, but it's still a nice spot to visit."
"We got sat down quickly, got drinks right away and served our fresh crepes. They were delicious and cooked perfect. The hot chocolate was amazing and in such a cute cup! Will definitely be coming back here to try other items on the menu!"
"Food: 5/5 I am not from the area, and not used to having so many interesting flavors for ice cream. So many flavors that it was difficult for me to even choose which to get for a scoop! The tres leeches was my favorite, tequila was interesting (though the gentleman working there mentioned there was no actual alcohol in it), and the arroz con leche I bought was creamy and flavorful. This ice cream does not taste store bought or "too airy" like sometimes at ice cream shops. Lots of raisins and cinnamon flavor. Service: 5/5The gentleman working there greeted me as soon as I walked in, and also accommodated the fact that I just asked for a half scoop. Ambiance: 5/5Lots of other stores to walk around in after you get your ice cream. Inside was quiet and vibrant."
"I was lucky enough to travel to Paris for school and enjoy the street corner prepared crepes. Fast forward, in San Carlos, a large and explosion filled crepe has arrived! Need to order over the phone or their screen. I did not see a cashier box. Large servings. In and outside seating. Clean restroom. Wonderful!"
"5 starsEl Churrito Loko is such a gem! Whether you're craving sweet or savory, their crepes are absolutely delicious. The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot to unwind. We went on a Saturday evening and were pleasantly surprised by the fun games they offer, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is perfect for hanging out with friends or family. I can't imagine a better way to spend the evening. Highly recommend!"
"Island Breeze Smoothie was very good. $8 is a little pricey but it tasted great. Next time will have to try the crepes."
"Stumbled in here while waiting for my order next door at Highland Noodles- turns out that brothers both own each establishment! There was a plethora of dumplings and traditional Chinese handcrafted desserts to choose from. I was also offered a few different samples of desserts that all brought back some fond childhood memories.I ended up buying a box of the red bean mochi, the peanut crunch pastry, and the beef biscuits (total came out to be a little over $37). The quality and freshness of the desserts really stood out on top of the authenticity to what you would get if you bought these in the streetcarts of China. I had to share with my parents and we all really enjoyed the snacks. Can't wait to come back and try some more!"
"We got chipotle bean sandwich, spicy crepe and strawberry banana crepe. It was alright. I have had better. Ambiance is bit outdated but the service was fast. Good vegetarian selection though!"
"Been loving crepes for almost a decade and I haven't found my new favorite place in years, but this place might be it! FOOD: Ordered the Happy Sweet Nutella and it was everything I would hope for! A big crepe that did not skim out on fruit (both inside and on top), which I haven't seen at any legit brunch place in the south bay I've been to so far. The batter itself was good and wasn't soggy--a good balance of crisp and softness. There was also a lot of Nutella inside, but not so much that it was overwhelming. Also, a small cup of chocolate syrup was given on the side. Overall, 5/5! SERVICE: My boyfriend did all the interaction and he said the lady was super sweet and friendly. The food was made within 5 mins, so very quick! They also accept cash or card. LOCATION: It's located in a small plaza with its own parking lot. It was a bit difficult to find since it's not a typical shop or restaurant. You'd see a few bulletin boards, which will have the shop's menu on there as well as others restaurants. Then you'll see a door with a small doorbell. It looked closed, but you just have to ring the doorbell and someone will come and take your order!"
"Crepe cravings fixed this past Sunday thanks to Crepes Bistro. I went with the Chicken Fajita crepe and a cup of coffee. Friendly smiling folks as we entered from the back. There's street parking in front but in case you missed it, there's plenty of street parking in the back. I don't eat a lot of crepes but this is the first time I've ordered a crepe that has been sliced. Loved it. The portion and quality, amazing. I did experience a slight hiccup on my coffee order. I was given a latte instead of a coffee, I drank it and was fine. Will be back!"
"I met with a friend here to talk about life. First off, there's parking available right next to the cafe and a parking garage a couple of feet away. There is seating inside & outside. We sat inside. The customer waits in line to order their food, drinks, and pays for their meal. We were given a number to display on our table.I like the fact that we ordered and paid so we didn't have to wait for a server to bring us a check. Immediately after sitting down, they brought us our coffee. Our food came out within minutes. Their service was so quick! Once we were eating, they kept coming up to us to ask if we were okay. Great customer service. They even asked us if we were okay because we weren't eating lol; yet, we weren't eating because we were so enthralled in our conversation. It was so kind of them to check in on us and ensure there was nothing wrong with our food. I'd definitely recommend this cafe. If you've ever been to Davis, this place is a lot like Crepeville."
"This cafe is a great choice for me simply because of all of the options. If you feel like breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they got it covered. The breakfast options are great, comes in large portions, and is cooked well. There is a back patio to sit in, an inside area, and a few tables outside in front, so there is almost always a place to sit. It gets a little spotty when it comes to service. You take a number to your table and then they bring the food and drinks to you. With this style of service you can easily get forgotten. They may never come refill your water, and used tables can get left unwiped or uncleaned. There are bussing tubs out back, so sometimes customers will put their own dishes in those tubs. So essentially we bus our own tables, and have to ask for refills, or more napkins, or anything like that. They're not really smiley welcoming staff, which is kind of a bummer since it's essentially a brunch place (yes they service champagne). The prices are also high, so I would like to get more table service since we're paying high prices like a place that has waiters. They're dependable and the food is good. I even ordered a cappuccino and it was excellent. It does is purpose, but still has room for improvement."
"I have sat down twice and ordered take out twice. I get gluten free and so far everything I've had is delicious. Crepes, burgers, sandwiches so far"
