"Visited midweek, and parking was a bit rough with a full lot in the plaza. But the place was awesome and had such a delightful and inviting atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating, and friendly and attentive staff, with minimal waits on a Thursday. I got the egg muffin melt with sausage, as well as an iced mocha no whip. Both items were delish, the sandwich particularly better than expected, with yummy melted cheese, a savory breakfast sausage patty, and a soft buttery english muffin holding it all together nicely. What's more, I was pleasantly surprised that this cafe consists of a gift shop as well. Yup, they fit more than just tables and seating inside. The display of adorable popup greeting cards stood out to me. But other merchandise for sale included stationery, puzzles, books like aesop's fables, cute gifts for kids like an animal-themed memory match game and activity sets that encourage creativity, and even USB cables. Random, unexpected, and definitely unique."
"Get a cup straight from the source! It is in the factory. They are super nice here and it'll probably be the best cup of Ikon you'll get."

"Picked up an iced mocha and black coffee for takeout. No waits in the morning during the early hours. Learned that my stomach can't handle the lactose free milk, just weird, but it didn't taste bad. I've been here a couple times now, and I like that they offer a nice variety on the menu, the products made with care."
"Is a very high quality coffee. I had drip coffee. Definitely can tell the difference from Peet's, Philz, Voyager, Blue Bottle and Chromatic. On par with Coffee Water Lab and Cocola."
"The team at Boast were working tirelessly at SaaStr, making really good coffee for the attendees with a great attitude. I really appreciate them."
"First off, the drink here is phenomenal. I fall in love with the autumn harvest macchiato. The bitterness and the sweetness mixed together so well it create a unique aroma and taste. The owner of the coffee is a sweet lady who helps me out choosing a proper drink for my morning. On top of that the ambiance is so cozy and warmth in the morning. It helps enjoy my coffee even more."
"Perfect cup of coffee on a Sunday morning. Cheers to morning shots after working out!"
"Picked up a dark chocolate mocha this morning. Hit the spot!Thank you for my beverage and helping me to start my day off right."
"I can't speak to how good the coffee is however I had the funniest experience asking about their matcha here. I typically make iced matcha lattes at home and have not found a good spot when ordering out.Me: "Hi, what brand of matcha do you use?"Barista: "The organic kind"Me: "What brand? Do you know the name?"Barista: "Yes"Me: "Okay... what is it??"Barista: "We can't share"Me: "Why?"Barista: "Because we want to keep it mysterious to our customers"Me: "Mmm okay, how many grams do you use per drink?"Barista: "We use a scoopful"Me: "Okay, like 1 tsp?"Barista: "I'm not sure, maybe a little more"For those who know matcha, I'll leave it at that. If a store cannot share any detail about their matcha to me it infers it must be of a lower grade or quality. I'd give the matcha latte a 3/10. I asked for extra matcha and oat milk which made it tolerable. It was dull in color with a slight bitter and astringent after taste."
"I had the pleasant surprise and opportunity to enjoy their coffee at their mobil setup at a wedding I attended at the Sikh Temple Gurdwara in Fremont CA. They were quick , explained everything and the coffee was perfection. Honestly I never knew they existed if it weren't for this setup. They were a hit as the lines for the coffee were consistent. I will definitely recommend their mobile services it's unique and it wakes you up also if you partied hard the night before or just need a caffeine fix in the early morning of a wedding or any other occasion function. I will definitely find my self one day at their brick and mortar and try the coffee there and see the difference hopefully it's the same version taste. Try themTips are appreciated"
"Super cute & cozy coffee shop in Downtown Los Gatos. Great service, amazing menu (I got the non caffeinated rose & saffron tea), and great seating. Also, their hours are fantastic - always a plus when a coffee shop stays open in the evenings! Street parking may be difficult but you can park at near by lots scattered across Downtown Los Gatos & walk over."
"It was absolutely serendipitous finding Sipbie. We were hoping to have a quiet morning working at Sue's but when we got there, it was packed, loud and hectic. The line for coffee was insane so we decided to head home. Disappointed and in need of caffeine, we stumbled upon a sign for Sipbie. It was too perfect! Not only did we get our coffee fix, but we got to enjoy a nice peaceful morning sitting at the cute patio of The Inn at Saratoga, eat delicious empanadas from Portos and sip espresso."

I informed the workers of the power access issue in mid Oct of 2024. I haven't seen any changes yet. If I come in with a laptop & I can't sit next to that power strip, then I leave & go to Starbucks, where I'm guaranteed to have access to a power, regardless of where I sit.

Love their coffee beans. Order their whole been coffee regularly but for some reason their website is out of whole beans and i can't get an answer as to why. If it's back in stock i would advise anyone who brews their own to get some for their home.

Capture Coffee is one of three stalls in Fremont's new Food Hall. They have a variety of your standard coffee options like lattes and black coffee, but they also have a more unique specialty drink menu that includes things like avocado lattes and red velvet lattes. Of the drinks we've tried so far, none have been overly sweet, which is a huge win when you're mixing some of these flavors with coffee.Black Sesame Latte. Hands down my favorite drink here. I've searched high and low for a good quality black sesame latte that has a taste that's reminiscent of the inside of a tong yuan but also has a caffeinated kick. Most places make a decent version of this with no coffee, so I was so stoked to see Capture Coffee have this as an option. It did not disappoint. Good coffee flavor mixed with black sesame paste and milk. Stir it up for instant comfort. Also definitely recommend this drink cold so you can frequently stir. I tried the hot version on a chilly night, and most of the black sesame ended up caked at the bottom.Ube Latte. Also a drink that can be in danger of being overly sweet or artificial tasting, but this was the perfect balance.Strawberry Matcha Latte. They recently added a selection of matcha drinks to their menu as well. Not the best strawberry matcha I've had. It tasted mostly of just strawberry milk and didn't have that earthiness that I expect matcha drinks to have, even though half of the cup was matcha. Probably better to just stick to their coffee drinks.

Awesome light roast coffee in an industrial setting! Recently discovered this place after working in the area for over a year.

Had the opportunity to try their coffee at a community event in South San Jose. They were stationed there from 9 am - 2 pm serving cold/hot coffee to a customers on a sweltering day, so props to them for staying cool and working hard. My only concern was the extremely long wait time as I waited in line. It's understandable a long queue would form since they're the only coffee vendor, but the line moved about every 5-7 minutes with each customer. I had a few people behind me leave their place in line. There were about 4 people working the coffee truck. Good customer service though; they accept card no cash. I ordered their sweet latte and it was done in about 7 minutes. Great brown tones and separated from 90% to the bottoms 10% of the drink. Semi-sweet, light, and refreshing. My mom and sister also enjoyed taking sips from the sweet latte. If I see their truck again, I would definitely order here again.

I wish I could leave 10 stars! This location is right across from some major construction but don't let that deter you! There's so much parking in midtown. Every time I come here, the baristas are so kind and welcoming. They work incredibly hard, and they make GOOD coffee. I don't drink dairy so I can't speak to items with dairy milk, but the oat & almond milk drinks I've ordered are so balanced and well priced. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Plus there's a lot of windows facing out, which provides great lighting if you're working. We ordered a hot and cold latte this day, as well as a vegetarian breakfast burritos. The ingredients for the burrito were so flavorful and fresh. I can't recommend this cafe enough!

I got a lavendar latte and it was smooth, well-balanced, and not too sweet. My family wanted to try it and their "sips" left me with half a cup left :( Matthew explained the way he makes the vanilla bean and lavender flavors (no preservatives and less sugar, which I appreciate) and showed me them. Super cool. And it's a really unique truck. Ask him about it. Thanks Matthew for the coffee and good chat!

First off, I really love the variety on their menu. My typical order is the madagascar latte with 3 shots espresso + oat milk and they kill it every time. No idea what they do here diff from other cafes, but their lattes do not disappoint. I've had their matcha latte and I'm not a huge fan, though I can see why some people would like it. Mine was a little chalky, but the flavor was there.I highly recommend the blueberry mascarpone toast. *Chefs kiss* It cures my sweet cravings without it being too sweet. The balance of the blueberry and the mascarpone is perfect. The toast is also super fluffy. I will be trying their other toasts in the future! The service is quick and the people are very nice. My only complaint is that the place is on the smaller side and it's hard to find seating during the busy hours (after 11 am). They have outdoor seating too! But I don't think they have outlets out there. Highly recommend!

"Excited to have Saint Frank closer to the South Bay!This spot is perfect for grab and go, but also offer outdoor seating.Serving up delicious coffee, from a great selection of pour overs, teas as well as baked goods from The Midwife and Baker. Enjoyed a latte with an Almond Croissant, great coffee and the Almond Croissant was perfectly sweet, great creme d'amande and beautifully flakey! A popular spot for families and friends, so many tables were taken. Many don't stay too long so was able to grab a table to enjoy the morning out.Plenty of parking, service is friendly and fast. Will be back to try their seasonal lattes!"
"This review is specifically just for their beans I ordered off their website. Since COVID began, I've been ordering in coffee beans from local roasters every month and Barefoot has become a staple since the summer. My order is usually shipped out within a day or two and arrives fresh quickly. I'm currently drinking their Ethiopian Limu Yachi Kachise brewed with a pour-over and it's straight up divine. Their Guatemalan Santa Isabel is also excellent and has a very unique taste."
"I purchased 1lb of Vienna Roast beans and I was pleased with its flavor and taste notes. The beans seem to have been freshly roasted to perfection. This coffee was superior to the Vienna Roast beans I purchased from Amazon and a Watsonville roaster's. I plan to be a repeat customer."
"I'd been to the Tasman Dr location of 1 Oz Coffee and absolutely loved that one, so I was excited to see this new location open. I visited on a Saturday morning, and found it pretty busy. The interior was minimalistic, with pastel green walls and some high-top seating. They also had a (dog-friendly) outdoor seating area in the front. I ordered an Iced Cardamom Rose Latte, Burrata Toast (no prosciutto), and a Pistachio Filled Croissant to-go. Service was lukewarm, but pretty quick. The Iced Cardamom Rose Latte was tasty in a floral way, and had a good amount of caffeine for its small size. The Burrata Toast was also good, although pretty messy to eat. The bread was a thick slice and tasted very healthy, and the burrata was delicious. The Pistachio Filled Croissant wasn't my favorite. I'd tried a Pistachio Berry Croissant at their other location, which rocked my world, and this one just didn't compare. The filling was concentrated at the center and was super sweet, so I either got no filling in a bite or way too much. The texture also just wasn't as good. I also wish their to-go boxes were a little deeper, so they wouldn't smush the item inside. Overall, still a cute coffee shop, but I had a better experience at the Tasman Dr location!"
"I don't know how it took me this long to check out Academic Coffee, but it was worth the wait! I was able to easily find street parking on a Friday (late) morning. The interior was on the smaller side and had fun decor, including a wall mural, framed prints, and their own version of the Duct-Taped Banana "artwork". For drinks, I chose the iced Pandan Latte and my sister got the iced Banana Cream Latte. We also ordered an Everything Bagel Croissant and Maple Old Fashioned Donut to share. Service was friendly and quick, and they had indoor seating available. The Pandan Latte was tasty and had a nice earthy flavor. However, my sister's Banana Cream Latte was even better. I was worried it would be too sweet and not caffeinated enough, but it actually had a great balance - would totally get this next time. Both pastries were also fantastic. The Everything Bagel Croissant had all the flavors of a bagel with the texture of a croissant, and the Maple Old Fashioned Donut was a delicious treat. Overall, a great experience - will definitely return to try more!"
"Decent sammiches; we had the chicken supreme and the Chipotle chicken. A blueberry crumble cake. Not bad. What was bad, was the coffee. Ordered a double espresso and got what had been a very long quad. Probably shoulda ordered a pourover or something. If you're gonna serve espresso, then serve frickin espresso. The spousal unit asked, "how does a coffee shop stay in business serving this?" I have the same question. A she's not a coffee snob!"
"If you're a coffee aficionado, definitely come here and ask for Michelle. She helped us out with signing up and getting some freebies. Be sure to ask her about the Mimosa candles!"
"really like this place! It's one of my friend's and my favorite spots to grab coffee and stroll through Los Gatos' beautiful old downtown. The coffee is amazing, and the staff is very friendly. They offer a great variety of coffee options.Yesterday, for the first time, we dined in. I ordered the mushroom quiche, but unfortunately, it was dry and tasted like it had been made a couple of days ago, which was disappointing. Next time, I'll try something else to compare. If you plan to sit inside, keep in mind that the space can be a bit noisy and not the most comfortable for a long stay. However, I'll definitely keep coming back for my regular oat milk or almond milk latte!"
"This place is great! Coffee of course, but also amazing specialty teas (I had the serotonin sunrise which was jasmine tea and peach and raspberry with sparkling water, it was fantastic). They also have waffles. Pastries. Gluten free. Dairy alternatives. The vibe is right. Beyoncé playing, friendly staff, black owned and is black excellence! Lgbtq friendly and fun. I loved it here and plan on coming back when I'm in town."
"The best coffee and service in town. A friendly and cool vibe - but, it's the coffee that keeps me coming back!"
"Best chicken sandwich I've had in probably 4 years! The other reviewers are right to highlight it. I'm lucky that I happened to search for a sandwich while I was in midtown Palo Alto at lunch.I hope they never change this sandwich. It has juicy grilled chicken, nice lettuce & tomatoes, pickle fragments, onion, and some sliced grilled mushrooms!French roll is fresh and easy to bite. Not hard like rolls can be on similar sandwiches.Outstanding.I might try even try their coffee next time haha"
"A cozy cafe offering sandwiches, pastries, coffee, tea, and smoothies. We ended up getting the disco blush smoothie (peaches, raspberries, strawberries, bananas & orange juice), groovy greens smoothie (mango, spinach, kale, banana, spirulina, and apple juice), the sausage egg and cheese biscuit sandwich, and the hustle sandwich (arugula, fig jam, prosciutto on ciabatta). The smoothies were light and refreshing, the hustle was heavy on the fig jam, which overpowered the other flavors but was still delicious, and I absolutely loved the sausage egg and cheese biscuit, as simple as it was, the breakfast treat satisfying and made with tasty ingredients, even the bread itself was better than expected, light and fluffy, and slightly buttery. Service was more than sufficient, and our order was ready in less than 10 minutes. Also, even though there was a farmers market going on around the corner, we had no problem finding free parking nearby on a Sunday morning."
"Winding your way down on Dana Street. Light in your head and dead on your feet, well it's another beautiful day you'll drink the day away and forget about everything. A true old school coffee shop that keeps it real and you can tell by their menu. Drinks ordered were the Caffe Valencia and Iris Cream latte with one in a mug and the other in a cool looking glass. The Irish drink was simple and flavorful with its cream flavoring. The Valencia was a cappuccino with orange and nutmeg and a well balanced cute cup with both flavors. Atmosphere had chill sleepy town vibes and the service was good. Outside seating available if you like to enjoy your Java alfresco. And that's my take, Peace."
"Not me rolling up in Chaco sandals and lightweight clothing while everyone else here is looking like as if it's still Christmastime lol.The coffee shop is inside what looks to be a former construction warehouse and it has zero insulation and zero heating. Super chilly!! Props to the commited dude who was studying in a puffer jacket.Anyway, I got an iced dark coconut mocha with almond milk. Smoooooth. Very easy to down and it's also pretty strong lol. The coconut taste isn't as aggressive like in an Almond Joy, but there's enough of it to give the mocha some slight extra flair. Also snagged the China - Gui Ben Honey coffee beans, ground in-shop for Aeropress. Really spot on with the flavor notes, especially the apricot and caramel!! Seems like there's a high turnover of coffee bean bags here since while I was shivering me timbers waiting for my order I saw a staff member re-stock the bean bag shelf and another staff member assist a customer on choosing a bag. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're a coffee bean bag fiend.Really friendly staff! So, reaching here is a little confusing; enter from Lincoln Ave. but the entrance and parking are facing Auzerais Ave. (there will be non-parallel-parking spots)."
"The best cup of coffee this side of the bay.Their breakfast sandwiches are next to none! The Ultimate Monster toast, Bulgogi Dog, Toast Gilgeori are all delicious. Chicken and Waffle was my favorite...Crispy chicken karage on a mochi waffle Latte art extraordinaires! Top notch customer service! Worth the wait!"
"Amazing coffee, amazing service! Locally owned, the drip coffee was delicious and the veggie roster empanada was amazing! It comes with a small cup of chimichuri that is also amazing! Give it a try!"
"Good independent local business. I tried the standard coffee at the farmers market stand. They also have some muffins and baked goods. I tried the vegan dairy free pumpkin bread that was excellent."
"I went here for the first time to meet a friend and had a wonderful experience. Fantastic coffee shop experience with a great beach town vibe.Although the weather was cool and foggy, nothing could spoil the great time sitting outside observing surfers, dogs, and locals alike.I had a pour over (medium roast) with the steel cut oats. The coffee was so perfectly balanced, not bitter, and just right, I didn't need cream or sugar. The oats were amazing. So perfectly textured and creamy, with a nutty flavor. I thought they had made it with heavy cream. I was astounded to learn they hadn't. Fantastic experience, def. try it if you get the chance. Everything that went by our table, from omlettes to salads, looked delicious. I can't wait to try the other goodies on the menu."
"For the coffee lovers out there make the time to visit the place. Small coffee shop in Fremont. Limited hours that are open to the public Tuesday and Friday. The other days you need to sign up for subscription. Beautiful and simple set up and it is nice place to hangout either to read or bring a friend to enjoy the ambience.Would probably come back to try more of the different coffees and there is coffee flight that you could try out.Service is wonderful and they are helpful and nice. Once they grind the coffee they actually have you smell the grounded beans. I highly recommend to try it out especially if you love coffee. The tiramisu is small and well made dessert. You could taste the different layers and the flavors were well made.Bathroom is clean has a nice fancy mirror that can change the lighting and automated soap dispenser. Highly recommended to try the place out."
"Sip HappensWhat started out as a covid lockdown side project has (relatively) quickly turned into a way of life for a reformed tech worker husband and wife team. They've gone all in on their home roasting and farmers market coffee operation into a full-fledged roastery and café in San José's Westside at the former longstanding 7-11® (RiP?).The Good:*Baked goods from SF's Neighbor Bakehouse (https://yelp.to/tXWUFbexw3)*Shared private lot, as well as street parking. *There's a Holder's Country Inn in the same strip mall so if you want to get some good ol' American 2k+/kcal breakfast after coffee then that's a decent spot. *Still appearing at the Cupertino De Anza College Farmers' Market every Sun 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.*Great vibe and ambiance, with simple modern décor and a buzz of jazzy lo-fi vibes in the background. *All coffees are roasted in house on the premises. *The flavors of the drinks were just OK. Nothing too sweet, which is good, but the flavors were kinda muddled. I wouldn't have minded more cardamom in my Cardamom Orange Latte, as I could barely taste it. The Meh:*50¢ oat milk tax =(*If you like your coffees tepid (at best!) then this is the place for you. Admittedly, I don't like it as hot as my beloved--who loves it lava hot!--but even my tender baby mouth could easily handle this room temp brew. *The employee at the register misheard me (slip off the finger?) and ordered the wrong pastry, as I wanted the Savory Pull-apart Bread, but ended up with Pistachio Berry Croissant. Which was whatever, I don't like to make a fuss, but they forgot about the order and I had to stand there for five minutes staring at the top of the barista's head as I was trying to get their attention. *Place gets very busy, especially on weekends, as we were there just a few minutes after opening and within twenty minutes the place was filled. The Ugly:*Speaking of the Baristas, the two I dealt with were very too-cool-for-school, which frankly kinda goes with the hoity nature of the business. Lots of berets and skinny jeans in the audience, if you follow my meaning. Conclusion: I get what they're trying to go for here, but something about it just seems a bit off. We've been to many great coffee shops around the country, and, sadly, this ain't one of them. Soft pass, but I might be back to try their matcha."
"Nice outdoor lounge for walking dogs and kids. Operating out of a trailer very cool. Have some interesting selection like Rose latte and pistachio matcha and empanadas. Have also WiFi! Very nice vibe for chill and read a book after a walk. Very friendly have digital pay. Only whole and oat milk."
