"I have loved going to this place for years. The food is great, staff is super friendly and it's very clean. It's similar to buffet style but you can only fill up a plate twice. The price is pretty good for the food quality and amount of food you can get.The owners are super friendly as well. I miss when they used to have the desserts but other than that Su's is a hidden gem and one of my favorite places to come eat. It's been that way for many many years :)"
"This place went viral on social media so I just had to come here for my birthday in January. since then, i have returned 2 more times and unfortunately i've noticed the quality of the sushi going downhill by the 3rd visit. For the first two visits, the Omakase sashimi and nigiri were to die for, as well as the fancy oysters. The portion of uni they would give you definitely surpasses the $49.55/pp AYCE price. The fish was super fresh and the wagyu was wagyuing. By the third visit, i've noticed the same dishes had gotten cheap. The uni was brown and tasted fishy, and the fish looked like it was dyed a certain food coloring. I had a feeling this place was a little too good to be true but I'm glad i got to experience two really good dinners here. hopefully the quality of the food will be up to par again once they figure out how they want to move forward with their business."

"Unlimited food is always going to be great. Place was pretty clean. They delivered the meats in a timely manner. The prices are not super pricey which I was surprised by."
"I went there on a Sunday, the food was really good. Clean, fresh and overall good. They put out crab legs and oysters, they were pretty large oysters. I had a craving and had to get my fix. I suspect the lunch during the day is cheaper with everything I want so it may be better to just go for lunch but we are all working on the weekdays. The oysters and crab legs were good but I could do without and suspect the regular price without the premium items will more than make me satisfied. Place was good!!!"
"Eight of us came here on MLK Day at 5:30pm. It's $41.99 per person plus 18% service fee. The restaurant is nice and roomy. The hot food section was pretty good. Starting from the right side, they have roasted duck, bbq pork, crispy pork, chicken, clams, crabs, oysters, pig feet, fish, vegetables, chow mein, fried rice, and soup. The middle section, they have fried food, wonton beef stew noodles soup, and dim sum. On the left side, they have all kinds of sushi, sashimi, salad, cold seafood, fruits, and desserts. Personally I like the roasted duck, oysters and greens. Overall, the food looks great and tastes good. Customer service is great. The only thing that I would like to have and missed is "tong sui". I hope that they can add it to their buffet menu. :)"
"We LOVE warehouse buffet. Such a hidden gem in foster city. Seated right away and there's always someone asking how we are doing, if we want more or if we need a grill change. Service is amazing! The place is quite huge, with a bar and sides/sauce bar as well. Love that it's right in the water! Plus the price and quality, unbeatable!! They have hot pot and kbbq."
"We decided to go here after seeing these great reviews. We really enjoyed the food but I couldn't eat it all! Here's what happened: We were in the car for almost 8 hrs. We rushed to the restroom and my partner ordered for us. He ordered fish but he doesn't really eat fish. He leaves that for myself & my younger child. He only eats one piece. We aren't big spice eaters like my husband. The fish was delicious but I never had spicy fish before. It was hard for me to eat & gulp water at the same time. I couldn't eat the lamb biryani and the chicken Tikka even though my partner said it was delicious. I didn't even eat the okra we ordered. My younger one enjoyed spritzing lime on the garlic naan. I need to try that next time. I should have waited for everything to arrive first before I ate the fish. The pakoras & samosas were delicious and was finished. Even got the mango lassi to quench our thirst."
"I've been here a couple times now, but our second time was the BEST. We decided to throw a birthday party for my nephew, who was home from college. We reserved a private Karaoke room for AYCE hot pot and it was FUN. We ordered a ton of appetizers, meats, veggies, sashimi, rice, noodles, fruit and drinks. We had three different hot pots that were split, so six different broths. It was $44 for each adult for the private room (All you can eat and drink), Like $19 for kids and my 3 year old was free. I was worried that the kids would not like to do the hot pot, but they loved getting served. When we weren't sharing plates, we were passing that mic. Even people who didn't want to sing, had a blast and were picking songs. It was so fun, we all had a blast and left so full."
"Milpitas Buffet is a good Asian buffet with a good amount of seafood. Lots of the basic Asian dishes and many different types of fish, shrimp, snow crab, oysters and other seafood. There's a grill with fresh teriyaki chicken and chicken skewers. And some sushi maki rolls as well as many desert options including soft serve ice cream. There's something for everyone. As with most buffets, it's not full of high end or gourmet foods. But there aren't many buffets left, so this is a nice option if you're looking for one."

The funny thing about trying to review Mongolian BBQ restaurants is that if you don't like the food, it's honestly on you. You pick every item that goes into your dish, down to the exact ratio of different liquids in the sauce so if you are unhappy with your final product, you only have yourself to blame. With that in mind, this review will focus less on the food and more on the other aspects that combine to form the overall dining experience. To begin, Su's Mongolian BBQ has all the charm of an industrial kitchen, which is to say not a lot. The sterile, undecorated interior pairs with the harsh fluorescent lights and imposing steel refrigerators to send a message that while you may be allowed here, you are not necessarily welcomed. The ingredient station where you build your bowl is incredibly small, so small that on first glance I thought I must be missing something. As a result, the diversity of ingredients is pretty limited but they do hit all the must-haves of Mongolian BBQ.It's not all you can eat, but rather all you can grab in two trips through the line. It doesn't make much of a difference though because if you are strategic about it you can fit quite a lot of food in one trip. You would probably be hard-pressed to find someone who could eat two full bowls that had been filled to the max. Most people will probably be satisfied with just a single trip through the line, but at that point you feel like you are leaving money on the table, and the $22 lunch suddenly feels like less of a deal. If you are a person whose stomach knows no bounds you are going to get your money's worth here but if you aren't, it's a little tougher to feel good about the price you are paying. In the end while the food was serviceable and I wouldn't resist coming here again, the lacking atmosphere and minimal selection will probably keep this from being my go-to spot for Mongolian BBQ.

The food was great and the service was very attentive both times we came.I enjoyed AYCE sushi/hot pot combo. The sushi & sashimi was on point. Hamachi, salmon and maguro were good quality. I was so full from the sushi that I didn't have much hot pot. Notables were the toro nigiri trio flight and grilled lobster with cheese. The smoked duck also had nice flavors.I loved a good black lager (Coedo Shikkoku) & sparkling ume (Choya). Yay, AYCD too!Good assortment of canned drinks and packaged ice cream. More than enough to choose from, which isn't often said. The only negative is that there is a strict 90 min time limit and I prefer to take my time with meals. I'll definitely be back to enjoy some of the same while also trying things that I just didn't get to.

Key Points:- AYCE. But no other option for A la carte- Tons of meat options. More if you get the higher tier package- LAMB- tons of self serve seafood options. The Fam and I visited Shabu King for a family night out, and it was quite the experience! The Little One is finally old enough to be around a hot pot without too much worry, though we still kept her entertained with videos, just to be safe. The restaurant is all-you-can-eat, with no à la carte options, which might not be ideal for everyone. They offer two tiers: the Premium option and the King option. However, one drawback is that everyone at the table must select the same tier. If one person upgrades, the whole table has to, which limits options for such heterogenous preferences as my family. For broths, we tried a variety:- Spicy Beef Broth: Very spicy and acidic but also quite greasy--my least favorite.- Tonkotsu Broth: Rich, creamy, and flavorful. This was the clear winner, and the Mrs.' choice.- Original Broth: Herbally sweet and surprisingly good. Perfect for The Little one.The meat options were abundant, and we only got the premium option while the King had even more. We ordered ribeye, boneless short rib, beef blade, pork belly, and lamb. The lamb was the standout for me: deeply flavorful with that unique lamb taste that I personally love, though some call it gamey. Here's a tip for hot pot lovers: go for the more flavorful cuts like chuck or lamb. Since the meat is already sliced paper-thin, tenderness isn't an issue, and these cuts bring more robust flavors. For best results, cook the meat just until it turns brown (only a few seconds for a boiling pit) to enjoy it medium rare. The sides and condiments were plentiful, including hot appetizers like chicken wings (spicy and original), chicken karaage, gyoza, and even desserts like sesame balls (Jian dui). For hot pot add-ins, the selection was impressive: vegetables, tofu, fish balls, fish cakes, seafood (shrimp, octopus, mussels, and clams--though no scallops), and a variety of noodles including udon, fresh ramen, and others I couldn't quite identify. The pricing is reasonable at $28.99 per adult and $16.99 for kids, for premium. Though the King option at $32.99 could add up quickly if everyone at the table had to order it.Ambiance was quite casual for a last minute night out. Service could have used some improvement as we had to flag down the server for more meat. Plus, we never received ANY broth refills. By the end, our broth reduced down to a rich slurry. Overall, this place offers great value, an expansive menu, and delicious options for Shabu Shabu. While there were a few drawbacks, we'll definitely be back now that we know the ropes!

Reviews aren't the greatest, but overall enjoyed the place. Quality is average, but a lot of food options. Nice hearty food. Staff is fast to bring you the drinks. I usually don't do buffets, but came here for a party and enjoyed it for the most part.

Date: Saturday, November 9th. 2024Time: around 12pmMeal: LunchA friend arranged a huge group lunch here. I'm not sure how many people we had, but I'd say like 5+ tables? And some were huge long tables of like 8-12. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the lunch price on a Sat is $27.99 for an adult.I basically tried all the stations. I'm not a huge carb girl, so I stuck to meat and veggies more or less. Except dessert of course. Cuz girl logic says those aren't real carbs. Lol! I had five plates total.First plate consisted of salad, raw seafood, and congee. I couldn't find any white pepper, green onions, or cilantro for the jook, which was kinda disappointing. The porridge was pork and century egg. Had a bit of each ingredient, but could have definitely used more. Second plate was random Chinese food. I got a wonton soup, crawfish, xiao long bao, clams, broccoli beef, etc. Again, I missed having condiments, I wanted some vinegar, soy, etc, for the XLB. In regards to the soup, holy MSG! I took a few sips and was done. Plate three was the barbecue and fried area - cha siu, roast duck, roast pig, egg roll, salt and pepper calamari, etc. I added a soup to this round - the fish maw one. It was bland. The siu aap and siu yuk were pretty good for a buffet. But everything else kinda needed more flavor. I did finally find the condiment section with some chili sauce, so started adding that to everything. Plate four was a sampling of soups - hot and sour, miso, herb - a couple pieces of sushi, and seconds of crawfish and clams. Honestly, the only thing I really enjoyed was the crawfish. The savory sauce stuck to the crawfish nicely and it even had some spice. Plate five was just a mish mosh of desserts and fruit I wanted to try. Unfortunately, they had run out of green tea ice cream when I got to that station, so I opted for strawberry instead. The fruit station had melons and pineapple. I'm not a huge melon person, so I just grabbed some pineapple. My group was here for a good three hours, so I'm to sure if there is a time limit. But it was a good amount of time to not stuff myself silly while having the opportunity to try everything. Not the best buffet out there. There's nothing I would come back for except the crawfish. So if I'm trying to get more bang for my buck, then I'd just stick to that and the roasted items.REVIEW #3622

Aaahhh this was such a wonderful experience for me and my family! We did the AYCE hotpot, and everything was delicious. This was our first time trying individual pots, which was fun. We ordered the pork broth, tomyum soup, the herbal soup, and a water-based soup. I was bummed that they didn't offer a completely vegetarian soup (or maybe our server was unaware?). We got to make our own sauces in a buffet-style set up. I usually put satay sauce in mine, but they didn't have that. My sauce was still yummy though! We ordered a ton of pork belly, lamb, beef belly, fish, tripe, ribeye, and clams, as well as veggies and noodles. The only thing that I wasn't a huge fan of was the ribeye. Our server was wonderful! He sang beautifully, brought a little dessert for the birthday girl, and chatted it up with us in different Chinese dialects! He didn't seem to be very knowledgeable about vegetarian accommodations, but he made an effort. I would highly recommend this restaurant for birthdays--it's FREE! Just make sure you bring ID.

Consistently good food with a nice variety. For me, the highlight has been the biryani, with every variation I have eaten being excellent and flavorful. The other dishes I have eaten have been great too, such as garlic naan, samosa, palak paneer, navratan korma, and malai kofta. Their buffets are also great. The service is efficient and decent, and they are great for large catering. There is lots of seating in the restaurant, although parking can be limited, especially during busy times.

Little hidden gem that tastes good and is inexpensive, all you can eat and drink for like $30 a person if you go during the lunch happy hour is an AMAZING deal. They have really yummy canned Asian drinks (my favorite is the lychee) that are so good and UNLIMITED. I usually have 2 so that's like $6 on its own. You get to choose two different soup flavors (even if you're eating by yourself or a buddy). The meats are pretty decent quality. The food they have on their menu is really good as well.Obviously this isn't the healthiest food, but if you're trying to fill your stomach on a budget, this place is perfect for that!!! Service is quick, you usually get your soup / food within 15 minutes, and the place usually has a lot of people so you know it's pretty good. It's really fun to cook yourself too. The sauce bar and dessert is great too.I recommend: house spicy soup, the non fatty steak, the orange glazed chicken, sesame balls, honestly just get anything that looks good it's UNLIMITED and they don't really care about leftovers.

"I love this place! Nice ambience, attentive servers and the food is INCREDIBlE. Tonight we ordered the Avocado Jhalmuri as a starter-awesome! Garlic shrimp from the clay oven were flavorful and the Vegetable Korma was great too.Prices are quite reasonable and our server, aptly named Joy, could not have been better. He even gave me a little extra lemon pickle (condiment) to take home with my leftovers after I told him I liked it."
"We traveled about an hour to get here for their crab buffet and although, over all selection for a Buffett is limited, it was well worth it!!Everything tasted amazing (even the fried chicken!) they had clams, muscles, regular kid fair, and of course endless snow crab ... which was fresh and tasty, prepared Louisiana style... Great selection of Asian foods, and soups, even had red bean sesame balls! We will most certainly be making the pilgrimage more frequently! It's obviously set up as self service so there is no weight staff other than the plate clearers which come by frequently. You pay and even get your drinks upon entry and help yourself for everything else. The staff was accommodating and friendly. None of the food was left empty at any point."
"It was MYNT to be a great lunch with colleagues at Mynt. Service was great and glasses were always filled with water. It is a classy ambiance. We had the butter chicken, the paneer sizzler plate, naan, and vegetarian biryani. Everything was delicious and fresh. Quality food if you ask me. Sorry no pics as it would look weird in front of work colleagues. Parking was plentiful during weekday lunch hour."
"Compared to the other buffets in the bay area this is one the best base on fair value and quality of food. Their selection specially the sushi buffet is the best among the price range of other places. I highly recommend this place if you want sushi buffet and hot food for a good price."
"Everytime we come here we really enjoy our meal. They have a very wide selection, and their sauce area is great too! For all you can eat, you order on the ipad, which is placed on the wall at every booth. Tip: The first soup you order will be the middle. Aside from what you order, staff keeps this restaurant very clean and they are attendant."
"I went to the Mountain View location and it was great. The restaurant was extremely clean and surprisingly large. The buffet had a huge selection and you can't beat the price for the quality. The staff was nice and attentive. This is a great place to stop by for lunch! I'll be back soon!"
"Passage to India Bakery is a great place to pick up various snacks and goodies for yourself, for a party of any size, or just to gift when visiting someone else's home. PIB is adjacent to their restaurant. Staff is limited, but work quite hard in the back ensuring everything is stocked up well and orders are accurate.(One recommendation to the restaurant would be to not close all your window blinds when you're OPEN, as the picture makes it look like the restaurant is boarded up and closed, when in fact it's not. You'll likely get more business this way by people who just want to stop by while they are driving along El Camino.)"
"The restaurant is a vegetarian buffet style place offering some very well made, homestyle dishes that warm you up from the inside out. Nothing is too spicy btw, most things they serve are more mild in the spicy range but still have an option or two if you prefer no spiciness to your meals. When you get to the food line, you can ask one of the workers behind the counter about what the dishes are and they always have good recommendations. So if you're unfamiliar, just ask and they will politely guide you to some very delicious food. As you eat your food, they will also walk around and deliver freshly made roti to your table if you'd like. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming and it's very relaxing to eat there. There is also a patio area that is a little under utilized by the customers but we prefer sitting there and eating in the fresh air. This is a very humble little place with delicious food and a very clean establishment to eat in. When in doubt of where to eat for the night, we usually end up hereAlso, they allow dogs in the patio area if that is a restriction for you!"
"Buffet time ;) I've been wanting to come here for the past 2 years and finally came here. We came for dinner time and waited around 50 minutes for our table? Which isn't bad at all! For the two of us it was just right under $80. Which isn't too bad, esp for the experience. They unexpectedly have a wide variety of stuff;- clams, snow crab, scallop- raw fish - dessert, ice cream - fruit EtcStaff are also very friendly and quick! We're definitely going to be back"
"This was our first time ordering from Wowmia Pizza. The food was delivered early and was exactly what we ordered. The pizza was very yummy and the crust was cooked perfectly! We ordered mushrooms as a topping and they were extremely fresh and also cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed it!"
"The place stands out when you look for it due to the old school architecture. Inside is a bit small but if you get there early you can beat the crowds. You can't miss the colorful decor, and Hindi music plays on the television to complete the ambiance. The buffet is quite good, and many items are bold and spicy. Ther variety is very good as well. The paneer korma has quite a tasty sauce and the flavor is well balanced. The fried fish has an impressive coating of green spice on the outside, with the inside revealed to be white fish. Chai and mango lassi is included in the buffet, and are very good. There were two soups served as well. There was a mango pudding which had gulag jamun in it. Warm dosas and naan are brought to the table. There is something for everyone here."
"Oh this place gets better with every visit and clearly the popularity is growing as the lunch buffet fills the place. It's a basic retail plaza spot but they are doing their best to present very fresh naan and entrees perfectly priced. If you're looking for a quick lunch you'll be pleased.I definitely appreciate everything they've been doing to improve the interior to now match the quality of the food."
"I'm typically not too big on super authentic Chinese hotpot but Zhangfei Hot Pot really changed that. What really stood out about this particular restaurant is it's extremely friendly staff. With the lunch's full house rush and only 2 younger gentleman running the entire show, it was clear how much they were hustling. Our party's requests were met with smiles and the vibes were so very chill. Seriously, this was some of the BEST customer service I've experienced at an Asian restaurant- which says a whole lot bc staff for the most part gives 2 shizzzzz about customer service. Lunch involved Zhangfei's AYCE. For $25/person, that was an absolute steal. Ordering occurs via QR code and the meal is cut off at a limit of 1.5 hours. There are a long list of items available but pay close attention to things that contain a charge next to it- these items are not included into the AYCE meal and will result in additional charges. Food:While there is a self serve condiments station for you to create your own dipping sauces and a station filled with snacks, sweets, and a few veggies, everything else is ordered via phone. As some Yelpers mentioned, getting your items can take quite a bit of time and you may not even receive parts of your order [which happened to us]. We let a few items slide but the staff is very helpful if you bring the missing items to their attention. We opted for the half/half broth combo and decided on Japanese Sukiyaki & Japanese Pork Bone. Sukiyaki was super sweet [too sweet for my tastebuds] but the pork bone balanced things out by mixing the two. The cuts of meat are decent quality and the servings are plentiful. 4 stars overall because the meal is really good but the time you are left waiting on items can seem unnecessary. +1 because the staff is so diligent and kind. This goes without mentioning but I am most definitely a fan."
