This place is good and in a city full of dumplings restaurants (maybe saturated with them), I was impressed with Brochette Dumpling. San Francisco is very lucky to have some top notch dumpling Chinese restaurants. My family and I got the scallion pancakes, XLBs, pan fried dumplings, pot stickers, Dan Dan noodles, chicken chow mein, and some lunch specials ($10ish which is a great value!). Everything was good and I was especially impressed with all the soup/juice in the XLBs and the pan fried dumplings. Service was good and there is parking in a lot as well as street parking in the area. I will be back!

A solid choice, and one of my favorite dumpling spots up here in the City. First known as "Mom Dumpling", this place opened a couple of years ago during the pandemic, but has been recently renovated and rebranded as "Brochette Dumpling", but under the same ownership. Those who have tried Mom Dumpling will find that the food quality is just as solid and great as it's always been for us. Casual vibe, contemporary yet simple interior. Friendly attentive service with a smile or two!Our favorites here include:1) The Pan Fried Pork Baos - served piping hot - careful.. lots of hot soup inside!2) Pork XLBs - on point, good amount of juices! 3) Dry Cooked Green String Beans. - Tons of wok aroma, flavorful and perfect!Location: Tucked away in the labyrinthine arrangement of streets behind SF State, It's a little hard to find without navigation, but it's worth the trip. Some angled parking inside the mini-mall that they are located in, plus street parking too! This is one of our go-tos for juicy Shanghai Pan Fried Pork buns and XLBs for sure!

Ate in this time and the standard is still high! May I remind everyone that their portions are HUGE? I've never had this much cucumbers in one single order anywhere else. Parking was extremely easy since it's in the plaza. Tried their XLBs this time and it was pretty good. We definitely ordered too much again, but this for the next day's lunch was delicious.

Arrived at lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy so no wait. Service was fast and good. We enjoyed the - - beef roll pancake - the pancake was crispy and light and I love that they actually did a good job of balancing beef to vegetables to sauce to pancake. Highly recommended!- tom yum xiao long bao (xlb) - no Tom yum flavor but the dumpling skin was thin and lots of porky, soupy goodness. Would order the original instead. - seasoned beef with special soy sauce - this was lacking in flavor and spice (despite having chili oil). It was a lot better after we added soy sauce, vinegar, and more chili oil that was provided at the table. Beef was tender but would skip. - sheng jian bao / pan fried pork buns - the star of the show and the main reason we came here and it luckily lived up to our expectations. Crispy bottom, soft bun, soupy filling, and well-balanced flavor, this was our favorite. I'd definitely recommend coming here just for the beef roll, xlb, and sheng jian bao!!

Went here for a late lunch after doing work nearby. This dumpling restaurant has your standard dumpling restaurant dishes that you need.Scallion Oil Noodle (5/5): The description of this dish is very plain, but it tasted so explosive with oil flavor. This definitely the best value noodle here.Pan fried dumpling (5/5): I was so surprised when I ate this. THIS IS THE BEST PANFIRED DUMPLING EVER! and I've had a bunch in my life time. The pan fried bottom was perfectly crunchy and the top half was so soft. The best part was how juicy it was as I never had a juicer pan fried dumpling. XLB (5/5): This was super juciy. You definitely have to get this.My new favorite dumpling place in SF.

This place used to be called Mom's dumpling. I'm a big fan of XLB and the special soup goodness a good XLB should have. We've had a large increase in good XLB shops in the past 5 years. A good XLB has 4 key items: thin skin (Din Tai Fung is famous for that), filling, soup, and flavor. I think DTF is overrated. Would come here when it was called Mom's and it's been great. As Brochette, it's still good. They said it was just a name change. If it's busy, they can sometimes get overwhelmed, but they always do their best and the everything taste great. Sometimes the noodles can be a little bland, but otherwise the XLBs and the variety of flavors are great! Recommend the fried pork dumpling (sheng jian bao) too!

Grandkids choose what they wanted to eat for dinner. They wanted to try Brochette Dumpling. Made reservations for a Sunday evening dinner for 6, but it was not crowded. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated immediately as we had reservations. Parking lot is a plus and it is really well lighted so felt very safe.We ordered 9 dishes for 6 people. Portions are small. Each dish was just a bite for each person. Green beans were cooked just right. The two XLB's were good but broth inside was just okay, but the skin was thin and meat tasty. Hot & sour soup had good ingredients and was good. Chicken fried rice was very good. Garlic cucumber appetizer had lots of garlic. Honey Garlic Chicken was nicely crunchy on the outside, moist inside but could use a tad more flavor but the honey garlic sauce made up for it and was good with the fried rice. Tan tan noodles were just okay, as I thought it needed more flavor? The hot chili won ton was tasty and just enough chili but not too spicy.Overall it was a good food experience with good service and ambiance. Restaurant felt clean and good ambiance with bottles of wine hanging on the wall. The dinner was an average of $25 per person.

Heard this place had a rebranding so came to try. Was pleasantly surprised! Their pan fried dumplings are delicious and similar to that of Dumpling Story and Dumpling Home in downtown. Their Popcorn chicken was bomb!!! Very tender and nicely seasoned. Definitely worth coming just to get snacks as well.Service was attentive and they have nice decorations for interior as well :)

I was actually looking for a noodle shop, but who can resist dumplings? And this place was new so I figured I'd give it a try. I had it delivered and it arrived a little before it was expected, which is always another perk. The food was excellent. I ordered chicken chow mein to get my noodle fix, as well as steamed pork buns, vegetarian potstickers, and steamed custard buns. It arrived hot and tasted very fresh, and I was pleased that it wasn't over salted. And they provided some excellent chili oil; with the addition of my own vinegar, the potstickers and chicken chow mein were superb. Pork bao was fluffy and delicious, and the egg custard buns were exceptionally well prepared and delectable as well. I'll be ordering from them again, and I'm glad I have leftovers for at least one more meal!
