My family has been coming to Broadway Prime for over 20 years and it's our go-to prime rib house. My husband and I decided to dine here for Valentine's Day weekend and although we didn't have any reservations, they were able to seat us within 10 minutes. The food is always solid. The salad is fresh and delicious. I love their garlic mash potatoes and creamed spinach. My family usually get the baked potato with the works. We also always get the prime rib in the largest size, English style so it's already cut up for us. We also ask for a side of horseradish to accompany the meal. Everything is delicious and usually we need a to-go box for leftovers. Usually the service is on point, but because this weekend was super busy, it took a while to get some items and at times we had to ask for it twice. Still I would recommend dining here if you're craving for a hearty meal.

Broadway Prime has been trending on social media as a House of Prime Rib alternative. The Prime Rib is good (not as good as HOPR) with good crust, tender and flavorful. . The Broadway cut is huge. Salad inedible. 1/2 corn 1/2 spinach was good. Sadly, the restaurant is dingy and very tired. The service was the same. Don't eat at the bar. It's a joke.

Parking can be tough*Food--Broadway cut is the largest size cut of meat. Can be done English style if you ask which means thinner slices to pickup all the tasty au jus -not enough au jus? Cus you like to put that on everything? Ask for more and you'll get a little sauce kettle of it-salad is delicious! Lettuce, thinly sliced beets, thousand island sauce -baked potato comes with toppings on the side not inside of it so you put it on yourself however much you want. I wish it had a piece of butter on top. I feel that it could've been more salty then would taste better. -garlic mash potato is excellent! So flavorful -side: I recommend the 1/2 cream corn and 1/2 cream spinach -popover comes with the meal -no dessert menu. Tiramisu was the only choice for the nightService was quick and efficient. Checked in few timesAmbiance:Pretty cute at the tables for 2 by the front windows. More Romantic than the back which is tighter and for larger tables. Bar is also over there for people just getting a drink and no food. Or a drink while they wait for a tableReservations accepted by phone. Not on opentableMany tables on weekend 5:30pm. Gets really packed after 6:30pm, there's a line and many groups sitting waiting. Every table in the house is full and happy

A decent spot if you're looking to get your craving for prime rib satisfied. We saw on Tiktok that this business was a dupe for House of Prime Rib - but without the month long wait for a table. We came the day before Christmas Eve (on a Monday evening) right when they opened and luckily we did because we were seated almost immediately. After we left there was a line out the door. Parking is sparse as it's street parking on a main street in Burlingame so we definitely made a couple of loops before getting a spot on one of the side residential streets. We opt'ed for the Peninsula cut and got the garlic mashed potatoes + 1/2 corn and spinach. The standard bread, salad, and entree came out along with a popover. My husband and I both ordered Medium Rare, but in my opinion came out more rare than expected - part of it I couldn't chew and had to spit out. The sides however were delicious and I couldn't finish my plate so re-heating it at home helped with the rare-ness.

Prime rib of any cut with garlic mash with 1/2 and 1/2 veggies is the move. Pair your meal with a red and you're going to be leaving stuffed.

Went in on a Saturday night for our parents' 40th anniversary. Parking wasn't too bad, depending on the day and time, it could be hard so plan accordingly. We had reservations so we were seated fairly quick. My SIL brought a cake and they refrigerated it for us and served it at the end. 2 of girls shared a children's cut and my eldest had her own children's cut. Worth it for my eldest but not so much for my other 2. They weren't very interested in the prime rib but they did enjoy the mashed potatoes. I had the select cut with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. It was good and I still had some to bring home. I'm not a big fan of creamed spinach on a normal day but it was delicious here. Mashed potatoes are a family favorite and can never have too much of it. The beet salad was good. A bit heavy on the dressing but still finished my plate. Everyone enjoyed themselves. If you've ever been to HOPR this is a much different experience. Salad isn't made in front of you, meat isn't cut at your table. The ambiance isn't the same but food is still good. If the experience isn't a big deal Broadway Prime is an equally good choice.

I did not think it was worth it. My piece of meat had no flavor and I don't think it was worth it. The service was lacking and as first time visitors it was crazy to see people around us getting treated so much better. The space is dated and with the lighting flickering didn't make me feel like we should be in the building.

We came in on a Sunday night and to our surprise it was full house. We were quickly greeted by the host and sat down shortly. The overall ambiance of the restaurant didn't give high end steakhouse though and I wish their tables were a bit bigger for parties or 2. I opted for the peninsula cut and it was the perfect amount for me. I was a bit hesitant coming here due to the reviews but I thought it was good! The steak was a bit overcooked, but it was really tender and the aus jus was a tad bit salty. Overall I would give them a 3.5/5 for the service, meal, and ambiance. I would come back and recommend this spot to others to try!

I'm seeing a lot of people say that this place is a House of Prime Rib dupe. Have you been to House of Prime Rib? Cuz this place isn't even close. Very chaotic vibe in here. I'm not even sure if they have a proper reservation or check in system. We told them we had a reservation and we still had to wait but people who were just walk ins got seated. It also seems like the servers are more favorable and friendly to people that they know or see often. The menu doesn't have the size of the cut so you don't know how much meat you are getting. The quality of the prime rib was mehhhh. Not at all tender. I had to spot out a few pieces because it just wouldn't break down enough for me to swallow after chewing for quite some time. It was also pretty dry even though it was soaked in au jus. Incredibly disappointed in the baked potato. They handed me the full potato on the plate with the toppings on the side. Like I had to construct it myself. The bread was stale. The spinach was a bit rubbery. If you come here thinking that it will be like house of prime rib, you will probably be disappointed.

Broadway Prime is a great restaurant with amazing food! I ordered the Broadway Cut and it was a big portion and the prime rib was tasty. The meal came with a salad as the starter and the sides to the prime rib were mashed potatoes and gravy, creamed corn, creamed spinach, and an English baked popover. The salad was just ok but everything else was delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and has a nice ambience it wasn't too loud inside even with the restaurant being full. Overall, I'd recommend Broadway Prime as the food is delicious!
