Everytime we come here we really enjoy our meal. They have a very wide selection, and their sauce area is great too! For all you can eat, you order on the ipad, which is placed on the wall at every booth. Tip: The first soup you order will be the middle. Aside from what you order, staff keeps this restaurant very clean and they are attendant.

Great service! I always love an all you can eat hot pot place and for $35 each definitely worth it. I love that they let you select 4 different broths. We got the tom yum, miso, spicy and tomato broth. My favorite was the miso and my family's favorite was the tom yum with the tomato as a close second. The spicy broth was the least favorite as we all felt it lacked flavor, but I did add some of the broth to my miso broth which paired nicely. They had an ipad on the wall next to the table so it was great being able to put in consistent orders of meat and veggies without calling over the server. Remember the first broth you select will be the smaller portion one in the middle. We loved the selection of meat and veggies, especially the enoki and woodear mushrooms.

Our new favorite hot pot in SF! This is the only place I have been to that gives you four different types of soups. We have to put in order ourselves on the ipad (or whatever it is that's mounted on the wall). Whatever soup you pick first comes in the middle and you get the least amount. We decided on the tom yum soup, miso soup, pork soup, and sukiyaki soup. My favorite was the miso soup. Pork soup was really bland and we didn't really like it. Tom yum soup didn't really taste like tom yum soup. Our least favorite was the sukiyaki one because it was way too sweet.I love how easy it is to order stuff on your own! You don't have to try to get the server's attention and even if you need to, they are always there to help you. They gave a lot of options to pick from: many types of meat, seafood, vegetables, sides, etc. I wish they included the drinks in the AYCE like other places. We got strawberry soju for $14.95 and it wasn't too bad, but we won't order it again. Service was really good. We would definitely be back next time!!

Four soup bases included for ayce hot pot at $36 per person? Yes please! The green pepper base is a must-try if you like spice. On the contrary, the regular spicy base wasn't very fragrant or spicy at all and I'd opt to try another broth. We also liked the chicken broth. The iPad ordering was super easy--our favorite ingredients were the house beef, the wagyu beef, the quail eggs, the tong hao vegetable, seaweed knots, and the pork bellies. This might be my new go-to hot pot place!

The iPad made it easy to order more things and things were given to us super fast. The meat quality leaves more wanted but for the price, it's worth it for the diverse selection.

I liked how you get to choose 4 different soup bases and also you don't have to order in person (use a tablet instead which is convenient) but i thought the beef belly was a bit too tough, which is my favorite meat to get when im at an hotpot place. A rainy weekday was slow but their service was super fast.

I wish this place was closer to where I live! Found this place on yelp & was not disappointed at all. They give 4 different soup bases which is excellent for the price considering everywhere else I've been has only given 2 soup bases. The service was quick & staff were very friendly. The first soup base will be the smallest, everything you can order through the ipad, very convenient & easy.

All you can eat hot pot that has a TON of food to give. Come alone and super hungry or come with a big group and get your monies worth. First of all, you get 4 different broths compared to most places that only offer 1-2 different ones. That in itself was already a lot for me. Then as you place your order the portions are small but since it's all you can eat, all you gotta do is keep ordering more. There is more seating than it appears to have since there is a whole back area. The booths in the back area are quite large and can seat a lot of people. Servers are quick with the water refill and do a good job on checking in. Once an order is placed on the tablet, it comes out pretty quickly too.Overall this place is insane with the amount of food they give and has good enough quality meats/veggies!

WOW, what an AYCE gem in SF![PROS]- $35.95pp- Get to choose 4 different broths. We picked tomato, tom yum, miso, and sukiyaki.- Meat quality is good. We stayed with beef and lamb which were both great. - Service was good. Food was brought out quickly- iPad ordering system was efficient- Variety of toppings/veggies/etc. We liked the shrimp paste, fish balls with roe, fish cake[CONS]- Tight/small sauce bar causes a build-up of people in line waiting to get sauces. Can be a pain point if you're dining during peak hours. There's only one sauce bar and only 2 people can use it at one time.- Flies can be seen hovering around which is annoyingParking: Street parkingTip: Check in on Yelp for free cold sake! Overall, very happy I discovered Boiling Hot Pot during my last visit to SF. Will be back!

Soup for the soul!A friend treated me here for supper last evening (nothing wrong with a Thanksgiving Eve feast). The weather was perfect for soup, and we planned on coming to this place for months! This is a Chongqing style restaurant as our server explained. For starters, that's a municipality in Southwestern China along the Yangtze River. It's known for, you guessed it, hot pot! Diners will use an octagonal pot with four sections. My friend and I chose the chicken, tom yum, miso, and curry broths, taking a culinary tour of Asia in the City by the Bay. The items we ordered did not disappoint! We got the lamb shoulder, wagyu beef, bok choy, fresh tofu, udon, mussels, shrimp, beef tendon, octopus, and also (not pictured) the honeycomb beef tripe, lobster balls, and house-special beef. The udon, tofu, and bok choy complemented the miso broth, the meats went well with the curry broth, and the seafood paired nicely with the tom yum broth. We went crazy over our soup and enjoyed bowl, after bowl, after bowl. Will come back!
