Boba Tteok

Was able to catch the Boba Tteok truck by Santa Clara Valley Medical on a Wednesday afternoon, and I was quite glad that I didn't have to drive somewhere to satisfy some mid-day boba cravings.Initially, the bright truck and painted characters caught my eye, and then I was a little taken aback at the $5+ for a drink with boba in it. Boba cravings took over, and I went with the oolong milk tea with boba. Price included tax, so a flat $5 was okay for convenience.I will say that it did take a while to get the boba, but I peered inside and saw that they were figuring things out and even had to hand-cut the tops of the seals for the cups. The boba itself tasted great on a warm San Jose day, and I had finished 2/3 of the cup before I got back to my desk. The milk tea was not powdery, although I'd probably prefer ice cubes over crushed ice, since the crushed ice melts faster making the tea more liquid-y, and can get up the straw, making trying to chew the boba have a crunch in the mouth...Overall, the convenience and taste won me over, and I'm sure they'll only improve once they're a bit more established.

I never seen a boba food truck before and its awesome! I tried the jasmine green tea w/ boba and it tasted so good. The customer service was amazing. Im definitely coming back again :)

Love these guys! I tried them at an event for Lyft and it's by far the best boba I've ever had. I had a Jasmine tea with lychee jelly and strawberry syrup. Yum yum! Hope to have them again soon!

Got the passion love with ai-yu (lemon) jelly!!! It has the perfect amount of sweetness and tartness to it. Super cute little boba truck and can't wait to come back to try the other flavors. Not to mention the super friendly service that was given (:

Soft and chewy boba that is hard to find. I am very particular about the texture of my boba and this one is beyond perfection. It was soft and chewy. The owner is super friend and nice. The Korean pancakes are delicious and reminded me of the one in Koreatown.

Tried this for the first time and it was bomb for the price of a food truck. I got the passionfruit jasmine green tea with lychee jelly and the chicken bowl. The tea had the perfect amount of sweetness and the chicken bowl reminded me of adobo. Highly recommend this food truck if you catch them!

Was excited to try this spot, but after they literally told us they had to remark the truck down the street. So we made the walk...only to watch them drive in a circle and away. Lol

This place is hella good! I got the passion fruit jasmine green tea with lychee jelly and it tasted extravagant. It was perfectly sweet enough for my taste. The service here is great too. The workers are nice and friendly. The chicken over rice bowl reminded me of my home cooking(thit kho-very good!) and there's a great deal going on rn for both the bowl and drink for only $7! Very decent food truck. Would definitely recommend.

I tried the green tea with boba and it was NASTY. The boba were not fully cooked and either the tea or sweetener was burnt. I will not be buying from this truck again. I could not even finish the drink.
