AZN Uncle Hangout. Beer and lots of it. Hardcore drunchies. NSFW artwork. All that was missing were the half nekkid servers with pasties and butt floss. J/k!Yay for yelp for leading me to this gem because we don't have anything remotely like this in SF. Bình Minh Lẩu Dê has been around for over two decades. Seems to be one of those IYKYK places. They used to be in DTSJ but moved to E San Jo about 5-6 months ago. Noticed some negative reviews but I think it was meant for their younger sister location in Viet Town (on my list to try next!). Open for takeout, indoor dining, and outdoor dining (dog-friendly). M E N UNhậu - Viet drinking food with goat, duck, and veal specialties. Small focused menu with about 28 items. There's some hardcore items like raw goat's blood and fake "dog" sausage. I was horrified to see the latter on the menu so I asked about it. The sausage is made w/ goat intestines. Self-serve beer from the fridge. Cc's accepted. F O O D* #14 Gỏi Bê Thui: Smoked Veal w/ onions ($20): https://tinyurl.com/mvey8yxzIf you like bò tái chanh, Viet beef carpaccio, this will be your jam. Tender rare veal tossed with raw onions, mint, basil, peanuts, and fried shallots. Fresh and flavorful with good textures. * #29 Dê Xào Xả Ớt: Stir-Fried Goat w/ lemongrass, chili ($25): https://tinyurl.com/4s33pws8My fav dish we tried, the stir-fried goat was tender with a chewy bite, packed with bold flavors and heat. Served with bánh tráng mè, crunchy sesame rice crackers. * #5 Dê Nướng Lá Lốt: Grilled Ground Goat (Large - $20): https://tinyurl.com/2ref4pd5One of their most popular dishes, the goat "kebab" was savory and herbaceous with a slight earthy gamey flavor. It's an acquired taste as I liked it but my friend didn't care for it. Served on top of galangal and lemongrass alongside a huge platter of herbs (basil, mint, and cilantro) and two dipping sauces. The nước chấm (fish sauce) was perfectly balanced with a punchy tang and spice and the mắm tôm (fermented shrimp sauce) was pungent and umami-rich. *#13 Cháo Vịt: Duck Rice Porridge ($12): https://tinyurl.com/5n6ysdppGreat for nursing a cold or a hangover, the porridge was very comforting. The rice was broken down to a smooth, creamy consistency with pieces of tender savory duck. Be careful tho, there were shards of bones. S E R V I C EPhi, our server was very kind, accommodating, and attentive despite being the only FOH. Prompt food service. A M B I A N C ERenovated space, clean and tidy with interesting vibe of NSFW goat artwork, American flags, and CNN on every channel of their TVs.Visited for lunch so it was lowkey and we had the entire patio to ourselves. Patio is protected from the elements with overhead heat lamps and fans. P A R K I NGTight parking with only 5-6 spots and one way in/out. We had to create our own parking space to the side of the building. Overall, super legit Viet eats and worth the trek from the city (to me). If you're feeling adventurous, give Bình Minh Lẩu Dê a try!

Oh man this place is great! First time here and came during a Monday night football game so it was a bit rowdy. Doesn't bother me at all but probably should know if you're coming here expecting a nice and peaceful dinner lol.Everything I had was pretty good. No complaints when it came to the food that's for sure. The broth on the goat hot pot was on point and so was the duck salad. Drinks are self serve you just walk to the fridge and grab it.I would say this place is definitely worth trying!

We came here after seeing good reviews but it wasn't as good as I was hoping for. Razor clamps was hard as a rock and no taste. It's definitely not fresh. Mussels has no taste either and very small. Shrimp in the combination noodles was rock solid as well. We had a dish but I forgot the name but supposedly it was rabbit meat. Never had rabbit meat before but it tasted like it was pork. It was ok but a little burnt. Anyway, nothing seems to be fresh except for the vegetables. It was very disappointing!!

I've been coming here ever since 2000, they make the best fresh goat dishes in San Jose. If you like authentic goat dishes and wash it down with a bottle of beer, this is the spot. It is a small restaurant-hole in the wall, so not many tables inside and alittle run down with a slight tilted floor lol, but with delicious goat dishes. The service is friendly with just a waiter or waitress, so feel free to help service yourself for some beers if you dine inside. Enjoy!

Definitely a hidden gem - this restaurant has been here for many many years. I remember my parents ordering from place since I was a child and now here I am, becoming a frequent customer myself. I actually have never ordered tiet canh from other places besides here because they are literally the best. Everything is always made fresh. For the price, I would say it's worth it. Tiet canh and all the other items they have on the menu is the perfect drinking food!

Only indoor seating. Glad we came close to closing time around Sat 7:30-8pm so it was pretty much empty. Only one table was taken but they left after our food arrived. Very good place for goat dishes. We ordered goat soup hotpot, rolled ground pork grilled, and combination pork tripe. Everything was delicious. The goat soup broth was a creamy peanut soup. Very tasty and not too heavy. We also ordered corona to drink. Service was fast.

After having Binh Minh bookmarked for what seems like a lifetime, my guy and I finally took the plunge and made our way to the restaurant.Located offa Santa Clara & 21st Street, this little shack has seen better days and can easily be missed. I arrived to a single table full of men tossing back Heinekens and drunkenly singing a random Vietnamese tune. All eyes were on us as our party of two stepped in. I literally hesitated and thought about exiting the building. Lmao.We seated ourselves in the corner and were immediately given menus. The entire menu consisted of 19 items and primarily contained goat. We placed our order for: Tiet Canh [aka Vietnamese "pizza"]- raw coagulated duck blood topped with innards.Lau De Nau Chao [goat hotpot]Tiet Canh - where do I begin?? This dish was not on the menu but ordering it by name or pulling it up on yelp and pointing at the picture does the job. I anticipated that this bizarre food would taste like a wet bandaid and was incredibly wrong- it was not metallic|irony and seriously contained no flavor prior to dipping it into the designated sauce. The texture resembles jello and the tiny bits of duck made for an interesting feel. Fresh veggies and herbs help distract you from what you are consuming but I am far from being an avid fan. Lau De was the highlight of our meal, granted there wasn't much of a competition. The broth flavor was good and it complimented the bitterness of the greens provided. The egg noodles were piled high and the dish contained a good amount of goat chunks. There was no gamey factor but be advised that the bits containing skin was extremely chewy.2 stars overall for the food and factoring cost. Food here is on the pricier side of things so come prepared with a wade of moolah- Binh Minh is cash only. +1 star because this place is undeniably skilled when it comes to preparing these bizarre foods and ensuring that everything tasted clean. No gross, unwanted, lingering flavors up in this joint. I can't say I'll be back- our party left full but not remotely satisfied. Money not well spent & the food here is a huge pass in my book but to each their own...

I stumbled upon this cozy restaurant tucked away in the city, and oh boy, what a find! As someone who appreciates good goat dishes, this place felt like a slice of culinary heaven. The moment I walked in, I felt at home. The staff were not just servers; they were like food-loving friends eager to guide me through their menu. And let me tell you, the goat dishes were nothing short of amazing - each bite was a flavor explosion!Whether it was the melt-in-your-mouth goat curry or the perfectly grilled goat chops, every dish was a love letter to goat meat. The chef's passion for their craft shone through in every dish they sent out of the kitchen. And the wine pairing? Pure perfection. The sommelier's recommendations complemented the meal beautifully, adding that extra touch of magic to an already fantastic dining experience. In a nutshell, this restaurant is a paradise for goat enthusiasts. The cozy atmosphere, mouthwatering flavors, and friendly service make it a top-notch spot. I can't wait to return and dive back into their delightful restaurant. THE FOOD WAS A TO THE G A M A Z I N G !!!
