Beastea

Oops, I thought I wrote a review for Beastea already. The owner Joy is super nice and friendly. Service is polite and speedy. Loved every drink I've tried here. Nuoc mia is so refreshing. The size of their cups is pretty generous for the price! Totally worth it. Pandan waffle is made fresh and was so good! They have a pretty unique selection of drinks, whether it's coffee, fruit teas, smoothies, etc! Lots of options for everyone! Let's not forget about their food offerings. Great to munch on with a refreshing beverage. I loved the fish balls and popcorn chicken. So delish. Highly recommend and will be back.

It's a pretty decent place, actually.The salty cheese from my drink is thick and tasty. Boba is cooked with too much sugar. It's good I ordered no sugar for my tea drink to balance it out.Love the popcorn chicken. Very generous portion and the taste is on point. Ube waffle is a bit too sweet and can be cooked a bit longer to make it a bit crunchy for taste.Service is quick and I like there are quite a few tables inside to sit and enjoy your drink and snacks.

This place has a lot of stuff on the menu, so you have various choices. Just recommence less sugar if you are a less sweet person. I got the soursop with 25% sugar, but it's still sweet for me, I will try 0% sugar on next visit ^^Will come back to try their other drink and snacky yum yum!!!

Stopped by while getting my oil changed and was blown away by how many food and drink options this place offers. It's a bit on the smaller side, but that wasn't an issue since it wasn't busy when I visited. Their menu has everything from fries and popcorn chicken to lattes, smoothies, boba, and even free lollipops!I ordered the Double Ube Latte and popcorn chicken. Since the latte is made with Vietnamese coffee, I wasn't sure how strong it would be, so I asked them to make it a little sweeter. SO YUMMY, SO TASTY, SO AMAZING. Honestly, I think I could've skipped asking for the extra sweetness because I didn't feel the tweak lol.The barista was super friendly and accommodating with my coffee request. I'll definitely be back, especially because they also have an Ube Matcha Latte?! From all the coffee places I've been to, I haven't seen this option anywhere else. Beastea is way up on my Ube latte ranking.

I stopped by because I was running an errand in the area. The drink was surprisingly delicious and refreshing. It's not overly sweet like those in the other tea shops in the area.Highly recommended!

This is my first time coming here, and their menu is so extensive. I got the triple berry slushy, which tasted like an açaí bowl in drink form. The image shows that there's toppings on the drink, but mine didn't come with toppings or else I would've got something to do with it. If you get a smoothie/slushy, it comes in those really tall cups, which is so cool. I've never seen it in any other boba shops. But if you get a tea or coffee, then it comes in regular cups. I also got an ube waffle. It didn't really taste like ube, more like pandan but purple. It was still good though.

The strawberry smoothie I got on my recent visit was sweet and fruity, not too tart and so fresh tasting. Served in such a tall container, it was like two drinks in one, there was no way I could finish that on my own. Definitely good value here, even if a bit of a wait with the lady helping each individual customer to make the orders in the back. The place was clean and bright, with several tables and seating inside, too.

I ordered Kiss On the Lips. The tea was a bit sweet. I can taste the guava and strawberry. I got 50% sugar. If you don't want it sweet, ask for less than 50%. If you have a sweet tooth, order more than 5% sugar! My drink came out within 10 minutes.This is a great place nestled away in an unassuming plaza. There's usually a lot of parking during non-peak hours. I came in on a Tuesday night around closing. Great place for hanging out with friends or family. Also good for dates if you want boba for a late night dessert.

Beastea is one of my favorite cafes in San Jose! Their store is a bit unassuming from the outside but we really enjoyed everything we tried.My favorite item was the Vietnamese coffee flight, which not only had great coffee but really unique flavors (ube, pandan, & salted cream toppings + a flan type topping). Their snacks & teas are always fresh & the staff is super nice! Will definitely be visiting again to try their boba :)

Beastea - Santa ClaraStopped by Beastea while visiting one of my favorite chicken spots nearby, and it was a solid addition to the outing! It was a small and causal spot. We were the only ones there and were able to have a good conversation.For drinks, we tried the Strawberry Matcha, Strawberry Smoothie, and Passion My Tension. Beastea seems to specializes in smoothies and fruit teas, which definitely showed. The matcha wasn't my favorite--the strawberry at the bottom tasted more like a smoothie than a well-blended drink. However, their fruit-forward options like the smoothie were refreshing and enjoyable.For snacks, we ordered the garlic fries, mozzarella sticks, and popcorn chicken. Everything came in generous amount with generous amounts of sauce, which was a nice touch. While no forks were provided, the skewer sticks worked fine. The snacks were pretty good--not overly oily and didn't leave us feeling heavy afterwards, which is always a plus.The menu is extensive, with plenty of options to choose from. I'd definitely come back for a fruity drink and some snacks if I was in the area, but it's not a spot I'd go out of my way to visit.Overall, a decent place to grab a bite and drink if you're nearby and craving something quick and satisfying!
