This place is pretty dang good. I live in Los Banos California and this place is waaayyyyy better than any place in LB. The ribs, brisket etc.... Really good. I recommend this place if you are craving some meat. The outside seating is a plus.

Quick and easy to order, food came out fast. Those guys are working hard! The chicken was moist, sweet BBQ sauce, really good! Beans were slightly Smokey- like cumin and sweet, think chunks of meat in there, coleslaw was sweet and IMO delicious! I liked it even better than the Mac and cheese which was cheddary yummy! Brisket was cut thick and juicy. Even the bread was good. They accidentally gave us garlic bread instead of corn bread but then they made it right. It seemed to be toasted; could have had more corn. Lots of napkins, wet wipes and extra sauce available everywhere. Cool rustic vibe, good tunes. Looked like a popular spot. Would recommend!

This was my third time at this restaurant, and each time I had an enjoyable meal. This last visit my wife and I went to lunch. She ordered the pork ribs and I ordered the two meat meal.My wife loved the ribs and she did not feel the need to add bbq sauce. For my meal I ordered the tri-tip and pulled pork which came with 2 sides and garlic bread. The 2 sides I chose were the beans and the Cole slaw. Both meat items were very good, nice amount of smoke on the meat. The beans were slightly spicy, the coleslaw had a vinegar based dressing. The garlic bread was basic,We ordered at the counter and our food was delivered to our table very quickly. The restaurant has lots of out door seating and some indoor seating. I recommend this place

Food: 3.25 out of 5Ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of cornbread. These folks know how to make amazing BBQ -- tender & seasoned well. My only critique would be the cornbread. It was definitely too dry even with the side of honey they gave.Service: 5 out of 5Ordered ahead of time and they're relatively quick.Environment: 5 out 5What you'd expect out of a BBQ joint. Casual & opening indoor & outdoor seating available!Overall: 3.75 out of 5I'm being a bit harsh because BBQ is generally not a cheap meal. The BBQ was fantastic. I wished they offered pickling on the side of their bbq option and did the cornbread well.

I respect a place that sells real good meat. Fr.I wasn't really expecting too much from this small and cute restaurant but there isn't a single negative thing to say whatsoever! The service was real friendly, and the host gave us great recommendations. It's a small place so indoor seating is a bit scarce if the outdoor seating is too damp. On a nice day I can imagine how enjoyable this bbq would be outside (curse this weather!!)My friend and I got the:4 meat combo w/ 2 sidesTri-tip- solid, I enjoy tri tip that is well seasoned and not too "meat-y" tasting, and it was yum.Brisket- my favorite, tender, smokey, simply delicious.Pork ribs- my second favorite, not much to say they were just really good!Smoked sausage links- super tasty, good snap, and a nice spice. The meats get a solid 9/10! For sides we got:Mac- very light and garlicky which I think works best with the meats, not too overpowering.Coleslaw- GOODCornbread- these were alright, should've eaten them fresh since I'm sure they would've been great eaten warm! The homemade(?) pickled vegetables were a great touch as well.I also love that they have a fine selection of craft sodas and beverages, we mixed the artisanal vanilla and cherry sodas and it was a perfect refreshing drink.

My family and I were traveling and stopped here for dinner. My kids had the pulled pork sandwich and said they enjoyed it. My husband and I had Tri tip and brisket which were moist and flavorful. They had bbq sauces (regular and spicy)- I found the spicy one too spicy for me so used the regular one. The baked potato was delicious but I wasn't fond of the mac n cheese (the texture was off)The restaurant had a few tables and was comfortable and cozy. Overall the place was clean and inviting. The staff was also friendly and patient while my family took a moment to decide on our order. A solid dinner choice!

A decent bbq if you are near the town of Gilroy! We drove by and decided to have a stop before heading back to SJ. My favorite items are the ribs and coleslaw. Ribs are tender and with plenty cartilage. Coleslaw is refreshing and not too heavy unlike some places who are heavy on dressing. We also tried the tri-tip and the burnt ends. Burnt ends to me is a bit too sweet for me as compared to other bbq burnt ends. I probably wouldn't get it again. Corn bread is also dry, but garlic bread is good! As a pickle lover, I also wished they gave more pickled sides. *Overall, it's a decent bbq place if you are driving by Gilroy, but not my favorite out of the ones I tried in NorCal.

Went here with my husband, and while I was at first disappointed they didn't have burgers (my husband wants BBQ, I wanted burgers), I am so glad they didn't because I ended up with the tri-tip and it was so good I didn't need any BBQ sauce. The tri-tip was generously portioned and was incredibly tender. My plate came with two sides and bread - I substituted cornbread (which was amazing - it was not super sweet like some I've had before), and the two sides I picked were potato salad and coleslaw. Both were outstanding but I especially liked the coleslaw as it was refreshing and crisp. My husband got the brisket and said he never had such juicy brisket before in his life. The service was friendly and fast. All in all, we will definitely be coming back!
