I've always been curious about this spot since it opened and finally got to try it today. Service is straightforward and to the point; I figured this was especially so today since it was busy, there were several people ahead of me with to-go orders. I ordered two things: Pea sprouts w/ garlic and the chef special tender cube beef. The wait seemed to be about 15-30min per order depending on how much you ordered. I ended up waiting about 30 minutes since 4-5 people were ahead of me. I think this is reasonable since it is a small restaurant and I think only one chef is working. I definitely recommend ordering ahead of time if you are on a time crunch.Regarding the food, it wasn't quite to my liking but that doesn't mean it is bad. The pea shoots were a tad over cooked and under seasoned, not a big deal, and they gave a huge portion which makes up for it. The chef special tender beef cubes were ok; some cubes had tendon and fat which were chewy. There also was not that much beef considering it was 20 dollars.All things considered, I might come back to try something else.

Came here couple times to order take out. Ever since our first lesson, we always call in to order so if you don't wanna wait an hour for your food to come, always call in couple hours before your pickup time. Services was ok. I think they do eat ins now so they have a few big tables but not a lot. Their food is a hit or miss, and I felt like the last couple times either they heard us wrong or they just gave us what was easier to make. The recent Time it was pork instead of fish so probably better to double check your orders before leaving.

Street parking. We tried take out vs. dine-in. Dine-in is better because food is still hot and some dishes taste better hot than cold. Salt pepper chicken wings definitely better dine-in. Chinese broccoli very good, less stringy stems. Porridge okay, same as dine-in or take away. Mapo tofu with mince pork was very good, not too spicy. Excellent service when not too busy. No ambiance as I think this is more for take away food. Four stars out of five.

This was such an underrated restaurant. The storefront can be easily overlooked and tends to blend into the busy intersection it sits on. I ordered pick up for wasabi chicken, salt and pepper chicken wings, roast quail, and fried pork chops. Every dish was delicious! I frequent a myriad of Chinese restaurants in the Bay, and have rarely encountered an unassuming establishment that hits it out of the park for the breadth of flavors I ordered. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. I was surprised that they knew my pick up order the moment I said my name. Usually, restaurant staff are so busy that they'll take 30 seconds to check for the orders. I've never seen service like this before for such an unimportant detail.

We ordered food to go. Waited over 20 minutes for our food. There were multiple people come in and be seated after us and ordered food way after us and still received their food before us. They should not prioritize people that dine in before picking that ordered to go. I will never come back here and give them my money. I ordered to simple appetizers that should not have taken this long.

Today, I ordered salt and pepper pork chops and two orders of rice to go from B&W Kitchen, and it amounted to $20.18. The restaurant is only five blocks from my house, and by the time I arrived, my food was already prepared and waiting for me. I was impressed by their speedy service.The salt and pepper pork chops were delicious. Thinly sliced, each bite was flavorful. Unlike some places where the pork turns into dry jerky, these chops were tender and juicy. The salt and pepper seasoning was just right, enhancing the natural flavor of the pork without overwhelming it. The chops had a decent amount of fat, which added to their juiciness and flavor. There were a few unexpected bits of bone, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.Salt and pepper pork chops are supposed to be crispy on the outside while remaining tender and juicy on the inside, and B&W Kitchen did a great job. The seasoning provided a flavorful kick without being overly salty.I am happy with my meal and look forward to exploring more items from their extensive menu. I will definitely order from B&W Kitchen again.

Sorry, couldn't take pictures of food as it leaked in way home. But, very grateful it all stayed in the bag and didn't explode. Also, food was still hot after 1.2 mile walk, so was hot and fresh when taken.I have an allium (i.e. onion) allergy, and I really have to thank this place as they made all the food fresh for me without onions. This is the main reason for five stars as soooooooooo many places ignore my allergy or forget.The food tasted good, ingot fish, ribs, and soup. The won ton soup was my far my favorite. It had shrimp in the won tons! Also they were nice and fat.I will be coming again.

Very friendly staff. The food is delicious, I'd recommend getting the clams and the sweet & the sour pork ribs. They gave us free dessert at the end! The restaurant is hardly busy so the staff is very attentive but the parking is a pain. It's pretty quiet but has a nice family ambiance.
