This is now known as Hugos. Great food open late night. Not the best tacos you've had in the world, but they're just basic and consistently good. Quality ingredients. Tacos are meat, onions cilantro in a corn tortilla. Everything's fresh and well-made.Truly, the star of the menu is their burrito. It's a little pricey compared to the tacos, but it is probably the equivalent of seven of their tacos. It is massive. I've had them before and every single time it still impresses me.On a week end evening expect to wait about 20 minutes for your food. You can call ahead. That being said, there's always people, because everyone keeps coming back for more.Salsa is decent as well. I prefer the green. highly recommend the burrito. You won't be disappointed.

I tried it out the first time since it's local. I would see a crowd when I drive by, so I decided to try the place out. The first time I went, my burrito was toasted on the outside and that's what made me come back. The second time, my burrito wasn't toasted on the outside so I was disappointed because I can definitely get a bigger and better tasting burrito somewhere else that's either cheaper or the same price. In terms of customer service, they are super nice, but since I asked to get the burrito cut in half, I didn't want to go back about for toasted part. My friend liked the tacos and the tortilla, so those two alone overlooked the fact that the tacos doesn't have that much meat compared to the other taco spot on story. I'd go back and give this place another try if my friends wanted to go back for the tortilla. Other than that, this place does not stand out from other more famous taco and burrito spots.

Tacos are now $3 each now! And they don't wear masks too so this will probably the last time I'll come here. Also the quesadilla are $8 each and burritos are $8 for regular and $9 for a super burrito. Just so y'all know. (10/27/2020)

The food here is very good. I ordered 2 tacos, one with chicken and one with pastor both tacos had really good flavor and handmade tortillas. I also ordered a carne asada burrito and it was very good. My burrito had lots of flavor. The salsa is very good I personally like the red salsa and it is better salsa than most of the places I have ever been to. Thanks I will definitely come back

The most delicious al pastor tacos come from this taco truck right here.Not only that, but we came when they were trying to close and they were very nice enough to make us some tacos anyways. Love getting tacos from here!

When people come to town and want Mexican food, real spicy Mexican food, this is where I send them. The salsa is tasty and hot, the tortillas are fresh made and their asada has a slight all spice flavor. Great place for some tacos.

Food trucks are a hit and miss for me, so I often drove by them intent on never chancing it. Boy, I'm glad I changed my mind. They're the queen of burritos and tacos in my book because to say they are amazing and authentic doesn't cover it. They have great salsas to accompany it- but I must caution they are on the spicier side.The few downsides is that they only seem to open after dark and sometimes I want to eat it earlier. Also, depending on when you get your dish, the quality of the meat affects the over all taste. Overall I would recommend them.

Fab! Ghetto Fabulous!!!Agua de Melon is phenomenal and possibly the best I've had in my life, wow. My man got a bunch of tacos de Lengua, Bucha, Cabeza y Tripas. My Mexican says to find them as good as this you gotta drive to Oakland!And that Orange Sauce Holy Moly if you think you can handle spicy, then I give you props. There's actually 5 salsas that everyone goes crazy for.By the way, five tacos and a big ol Agua de Melon was only $12. This crowd knows what it's all about :)There's usually a line to order food, lucky if you even get to squeeze your car in the one little parking lot. Cash Only and they call out the number on the bottom of your receipt in Spanish. Today was a short line and food took about 15 minutes or more. I hear its actually never a short line! We lucked out. If you order to go, grab salsa containers from the cashier and go party with their 5 salsa choices.If you order Agua Fresca, there's a person that stands there to the left of the salsas and hands it to you, just tell them which one you ordered.If you don't get take out, somehow get friendly in that community seating with the barrio. I don't know how anyone finds or reserve seats, looks crazy.I feel my wisest decision today was bringing my Mexican with me, so go get your Mexican and bring them with you here! (I'm not sure how well the communication flows if not en espanol)This place is the pinnacle of late night outdoors ghetto fabulous 5 stars all the way, awesome food!

Food is always very good. Anytime I go through Castroville, I can help but stop and get some yummy tacos.The guy is super nice and very professional.A long time ago I was walking through town and only had a few dollars and the man fed me good for what I had on me. Psalms 23:1 on the side of the truck says something about the man as well. The Lord is my Sheperd too. Blessings on this Taco Truck!!

Generous and tasty tacos. Friendly service. Great stop getting back to N 101 after hitting the Super Charger.
