Antojitos Chapines Guatemala and Mexican Food

Came here on a Friday evening & got:Carne asada nachos2 chicken tacos, 1 chorizo taco (pass, chorizo was very overcooked dry & crunchy), 1 carnitas, and 1 carne asada taco Loved the tortillas they used & the actual nacho chips - soft pillowy flour shells & something about those chips they use for nachos were so good!! As for the filling it wasn't like the proteins or the toppings on the nachos were bad or anything (other than the chorizo - either I got a dud or it's just not that great) but it wasn't amazing. The food here tasted homemade - like I went to my friends place and his mom made us food. It wasn't oily or over seasoned (I wasn't bloated or felt salty/oily/gross after) which was great. Every taco also came with a grilled jalepeno (was super spicy!!) and some cut up radishes. Also the hot sauce was fantastic. The lady who took our order was super sweet and nice. The reviews say the quesabirria and horchata here is great so we'll try that next time!!

Thank You!! Thank You!! Thank You!!! Great service and amazing food! Couldn't ask for anything more. We took our young adults with special needs to this taco truck for lunch around 11. We let the students order so it took a little time but the lady at the window was super patient and friendly. They were quick with pumping the food out, we were there for about 40 mins total which included 15 orders and receiving the food. They take cash, card and Apple Pay which is a plus. When we got back to school which was about 15 mins away the food was still how and yummy. Their salsa is TO DIE FOR!! Staff and students only had great things to say about the food. Definitely will be returning again!! Thank you for your kindness and patience.

Being from Hawaii, we aren't known for our Mexican food so when we come to California (any part of California), we are usually on the hunt for some. We found this amazing food truck in a gas station parking lot and it had the most amazing tacos we've ever had! We ordered 3 tacos, each with a different meat. The staff was friendly and our food came out pretty quickly. The tortillas were fresh and soft, the fillings were yummy, and the salsas were absolutely delicious! I'm so glad we came across them and hope to be able to sample more from them one day!!! We highly recommend that everyone try them out!

I ficking love this place. Gimme all their quesabirrias, tacos, and tostados. Idk if this is a secret menu thing or what but they also have horchata that slaps. The lady who runs this place is a 100% true dear too

I've been here twice, and both times were delicious! Last time I went I had a pupusa - Revuelta. It was possibly the best pupusa I've had, and it was big for the price. I also got two tacos de cabeza; they were delicious but the meat didn't seem like cabeza to me, more like carnitas. The hand made tortillas and the salsas are fantastic. Definitely will be coming back!

Service with a smile! The ladies here are serving up all kinds of delicious Guatemalan dishes at a taco truck known by many locals and it seems kept a secret...until now. I couldn't keep this place all to myself! The Quesabirria is one massive taco made with tender braised beef and cheese for $10. It comes with a savory consommé used to dip the taco into but equally is tasty drinking as a soup by itself. The flavor is intense and you can tell that fresh quality ingredients are used here. I'm comforted by the fact that they take their food safety precautions seriously here and abide by the Covid health regulations.

Came here during lunch time and it wasn't busy at all. I ordered 4 tacos (asada and pastor) and I preferred the taste of the asada better and I really loved the tortillas as well. Not used to the red onions in tacos but it still tasted good! Tacos can be a hit or miss, but would definitely give them a try!

Yummy yummy yum yum!!Super delish, tons of flavor, lots of food for the price, home made with fresh ingredients. Did I leave anything out? Oh yah great service with a genuine smile. I ordered a Quesabirria and had no idea what it was, it just looked good so I ordered it "heck I could not even pronounce it correctly" but is sure did not disappoint. It has stew beef inside and comes with avocados, lemon wedges, Serano peppers, thinly cut lettuce. And a cup of stew au jus.

11/21/2020We drive by here all the time and have never tried the food. We decided spontaneously to try the food today. We rarely ever have cash on us but I did have a $20 on me so hoped it would cover whatever we ordered. Walked up and they do take cards as well. Checked out the menu and noticed no prices on anything so I guess it's adjustable?Ordered and confirmed (as our orders were repeated) 2 asada tacos and 1 al pastor taco, everything on it. 1 quesabirria - $16.50 total.We walked away with 2 plates in a Togo bag. Got home and noticed we were shorted an asada taco. Bummer. The foil on top states 3 fairly clearly but it is what it is. Food isn't bad but isn't great? Not sure how they have 4-5 stars in most reviews. Giving 3 stars for this one. The salsa verde is descent and has a good kick. Unfortunately, Don't think we'll be back.

I went there when it wasn't busy. They are very nice. I tried chicken burritos, carne asada tacos, and a quesadilla. The food just isn't very tasty. Maybe the blandness is what some people like though.
