My friend and I went here for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't super busy at all. There was only one waitress working, but she was pleasant and quick to help us. I ordered the enchiladas with mole and my friend ordered a carne asada burrito. The enchiladas had chicken and cheese in them. The mole sauce was well seasoned and slightly spicy. It wasn't overly sweet either. The rice was flavorful but I thought the beans were a little bland. My friend enjoyed her burrito. We also ordered the churros and tres leches. The churros had bits of strawberry in them and were served with berries, whipped cream, and some sort of coffee/caramel sauce. The tres leches cake was also served with berries, whipped cream, and the caramel/coffee sauce. We enjoyed both desserts. The layout of the restaurant is a bit odd but the ambiance is festive and fun.I enjoyed my experience here and will likely come back to check out their happy hour menu and drinks.

I am not one to write negative reviews but we had just an absolutely bizarre experience here for a dinner for three. Things started out okay. We were seated promptly as there were only a couple other parties there. We got our drink orders - drinks were fine. Nothing special but also by no means bad. Our third friend arrived and asked if she could have a non-alcoholic Paloma and our server at first said no??? He then changed his mind and brought one over. When ordering food, our friend ordered a carne asada burrito. When our food came out, she was served a carne asada plate. When she tried to clarify with the server, he tried to argue with her that she had in fact ordered the plate. It wasn't until the rest of us chimed in saying she definitely said burrito (even went as far as saying she didn't want the queso that comes with it) when he rolled his eyes and took the plate back and returned with a burrito a few minutes later. The foods ordered: chips & guacamole, carne asada burrito, chicken enchiladas, and the Mexican jambalaya. The guacamole was good but the chips were very old and stale. The enchiladas were tasty, though the rice and beans were incredible bland. I had ordered the Mexican jambalaya and asked if they could make it spicy, to which I was told, absolutely. The meal was incredibly bland. The burrito had literally just meat rice beans, and a small amount of guacamole. No salsa. My friend asked for a small side of salsa, the waiter acknowledged it and then walked away. Five, ten minutes later, he still hadn't come back with the salsa. We finally waved him back over and asked where the salsa was, and he acted like we had never asked him (no apology or acknowledgement that he had forgotten). When we finally had just had enough, we asked for the check only to notice we had been charged the same amount for the alcohol free Paloma as a regular cocktail. I have NEVER been to any bar or restaurant where mocktails are the same price. Overall, a very bizarre experience. I was really looking forward to trying this place because of the good reviews but left pretty supremely disappointed. Drinks were decent. Food was average at best. Service was absolutely atrocious.

Second time dining here, the experience this time was more positive. We walked in around 6PM on a Friday night and there was no line and only a couple of tables occupied. We ordered right away and were served in a timely manner.Chips and guacamole - 5/5Chicken Mole plate - 3/5Enchiladas- 3/5Ordered lemonade for drink, which was never served until we asked for it again, towards the end of our meal. The service is not the best and you have to try hard to catch the servers attention. The food was better this time, but not as good as many other Mexican restaurants. It is not what I consider authentic Mexican food.

Had high hopes for this place based on reviews, but was unfortunately disappointed... Service was extremely slow and food was just alright. Some friends and I ordered nachos, carne asada burritos, and mango margaritas. The nachos were soggy, the burritos barely had any meat (tortillas tasted burnt), and the margaritas were unpalatably strong. For what it's worth ($20 for a burnt burrito? In this economy?), you're better off going elsewhere.

Really loved the authentic Mexican food here. My husband and I split both the red and green enchilada. They were delicious. The chips with dips were super tasty too. One is very spicy though so be careful! ;)We also liked their churros, but wish we had known they have a raspberry filling inside because our kids wouldn't eat them. Their loss is our gain. ;)

As Good as OldFormerly known as "The Breakfast Place," they were featured on an episode of Restaurant Impossible (S20:E7 10/7/21) where Chef Robert Irvine busted their kishkas for thirty minutes before finally giving them a makeover. Alas and alack, even after that makeover the owners** decided to rebrand again and this time from an American breakfast place to a full-service Mexican restaurant complete with a full bar. The Good:*Easy parking in a large private lot*Friendly service*Reservations available via the Yelp app*Complimentary Chips and Salsa (there's a $5 version that comes with extra salsa fwiw)*Beers on draught, as well as a full bar*Multiple TVs with NFL games*Camarones a la Diabla (Deviled Shrimp) was tasty and cooked really well, and the Mexican rice was excellent and had a nice cooked tomato flavor. My only complaint was the shrimp weren't spicy enough--when I order deviled shrimp, I want it heavy on the devil. *Mole Verde was surprisingly good and the pork (altho we've seen them serve this with other proteins) was tender and had a nice chew. The Meh:*Corn tortillas aren't housemadeThe Ugly:*Prices are a little high compared to similar restaurants we've been to of this ilk. Conclusion: Tasty Mexican eats in a nicely remodeled space. **It's still the same owners from what I could tell from County records fwiw

This is a small little restaurant. It was the middle of the afternoon and slow. I ordered and the food came out quickly. They do not have chips and salsa to munch on without purchasing the appetizer. The chips with the guacamole were fresh. The guacamole had a little too much lime. The tacos were stuffed full. I got two carne and one chicken. The chicken was good. The carne was great. The flavor was amazing and the meat was tender. The only had sweet tea which I did not get.

Mexican fusion spot -- love their flavors! Happy hour deals, family-friendly space, clean but can be a bit chilly in winter so layer up.

I'm writing this before my food even arrives. When Añejo first opened, they were always packed and able to treat each table like they were special customers. Tonight, however; 1 table of 14 appears to have blinded them to the 3 other tables (right next to the large party). There were four tables but one got up and left after waiting for too long to be acknowledged. I was finally able to order because I gave up on ever being acknowledged and went up to the bar and just started giving my order to the bartender. No apologies were offered by either the bartender or the owner who continued to faun over the big party. I know bigger parties mean more money but repeat customers mean you get to stay in business. Do better next time because decent food and drinks will never overshadow horrible service.
