Such an amazing coffee shop! Biscuits and gravy were bomb. They were highly recommended that's why we tried the place out. Very cute place, portions of all food were big! Staff super friendly and attentive. There's street parking and a lot. Check it out!

I was genuinely hyped on going to this place, it's all over my social media and the lady and I have had it on our list of local spots to check out for awhile now. I've had longtime friends even vouch for its quality just recently. That, however was not my experience. The Service:For starters, we walked in and were greeted by a lady who looked stressed out and completely over it who pointed to the first table she saw and walked away very quickly. We sat down and then a surly looking retired cholo came over to take our drink order, where I asked for Club Soda and was met with a look of general confusion. Without looking he says "I don't think we have any". He came off out of the gate like someone who would really enjoy an argument, so I ordered a Sprite instead. The Sprite was flat as all hell, and wouldn't you know, the dude wasn't lying! They really didn't have any Club Soda after all. We finally got menus, and about 5 seconds later were asked if we were ready to order. Not quite... So after waiting another 15 minutes and seeing that same lady who looked too stressed a few minutes ago run around helping every table while the other server and the busser (retired cholo) stood around complaining about thier personal lives someone finally took our orders. The Food:I kept hearing that the biscuits and gravy was the thing to get here, so I had to. I ended up ordering the Country Style Sausage breakfast with a 1/2 order of B&G. My wife got the basic Bacon & Eggs Breakfast. The verdict? The biscuits were too soggy, the gravy had no flavor at all and tasted like it was just flour and milk with hastily thrown in Sausage crumbles. Zero savory flavor at all, it's like it was too salty and too bland at the same time and I'm not even sure how you achieve that. The eggs, sausage and hashbrowns were OKAY, but they all tasted like they came off of a dirty flat top. The lady said the same thing about hers, infact she said the ranch sauce and the coffee were the only good things about her meal. Tragic. The Ambiance:Well, like I mentioned the vibe in there kinda sucked with the busser airing out his dirty laundry right there loud as hell for everyone to hear, and the one server who was seemingly doing everything while the other stood idle. The decor and overall ambiance other than that just reminded me of an old greasy spoon diner you might find in Reno or Old Vegas, definitely not San Jose. 10/10 would not return and I'm mad as hell at all my friends and family who vouched for this place. Lol. Not to mention, it cost us $70 for a breakfast that was mediocre at best. Definitely felt like we got ripped off on this one.

I've been here many times in the past years, many times. Loved that it seemed to be family owned and the quality of the food was good. It's time for an update. It's very dirty in here, old, dusty and everything seems used and needing replacement. The ketchup bottles on the table are so old you cannot read the labels. Greasy and nasty. My family bought breakfast and they said it seemed ok, I made the mistake of ordering a burger. It was frozen patty, no taste at all. Easter of money. Fries were good! - Horribly rude signs all over hand written- Unprofessional staff I won't return here again, pricing was not overpriced which was good but the food and experience was horrible!

Named a Bite of Wyoming because that's all you'll have. I had a bite of everything just to be courteous. First and foremost everything was just sad and disappointing. My husband ordered the buffalo steak and it was the smallest thing on his plate. Loaded with hash browns 2 eggs and a tiny steak. I suppose that's a tactic to make you get full. I ordered country sausage egg and toast and my sausage was burnt on the outside pink on the Inside , which made it very chewy and disgusting. I also ordered a side of cottage cheese with fruit. They should put "canned fruit" on the menu I guess I was wrong to assume it would be fresh. A whole can of peaches were loaded on top of the cottage cheese with the corn syrup included. Yuck. The whole thing gave me asco. The staff looked unmotivated sad and dragging. And you can tell obviously by the type of food being served they're looking for any cheap alternative probably to keep their doors open. I'm surprised people still come here. You couldn't pay me to come back, by the looks of the place how it's run and the food served I wouldn't be surprised if people left with food poisoning. I used to come here and feel the food was better but it's just gotten really sad. I'm sorry for not tipping but I hardly ate and I'm not the type of person to return my plate. But yes I'll write a review for a fair warning of anyone entering. We paid $56 for trash food. Proceed with caution

This is a great mid east coast style dinner that been in San Jose for over 3 decades. When you come here , you are here for the food not the decorations. Here is my scoring card for this restaurant:1) Location: ( 5 Point ) - Great location for customer to see and find. Great parking for street parking and parking lot parking.2) Decoration : (2 Point) - They still have the original decoration. Clean.3) Price: ( 4 point)- The price is competitive but still a little bit pricey compare to other same stars and type food they serve4) Quality and Taste : ( 3 point)- The quality is ok, food taste is good and portions are below average . ( must be inflation )5) Type of cuisine standard : ( 4 point) - The style of american food they serve is pretty close to the way it was prepare in mid east coast. Not bad! But some dishes did have slightly modify to cater the customer's needOverall it's not bad and I thinks it's great to give it a try and let me know what you think. Go foodies.Side note: the gravy is not what I am use to. It's sweet. Most of the gravy I had in the past from different states is always salty. MmmmTotal max is 25Score 18Stars = 72% round up to 3 stars

3.5 stars. A Bite of Wyoming is a breakfast/brunch place that has been around for a while. It is a very popular and crowded place, so expect a wait. The parking can be challenging, but they do have a small lot.I ordered the Breakfast: Served with two eggs, golden hash browns, and toast or biscuits. Chicken Fried Steak - pounded and formed beef, then deep fried and smothered in a creamy thick sauce. The hash browns were nice and crispy.

Do not judge the place by its location or front door. Here you will definitely find friendly service, more food options (especially vegetarian) for the regular dive restaurants, and a homemade green sauce that will keep you coming back (bonus point: their biscuits). For lunch, I enjoyed the following:- Breakfast dish -two ranch eggs served with golden hash browns and biscuits - Short stack, two pancakes Go to enjoy breakfast, brunch, or lunch; you will not regret it.P.s. keep in mind that it is a small place, so surely, in peak hours, you will have to be patient and wait.
