Took my Mother and Wife plus Dad here for Mother's Day brunch this past Sunday and it was horrible! They were 20 minutes late to opening, there was no silverware or napkins set at the tables, plastic cocktail cups were given for the water options. There was a buffet line that took almost 30/40 minute to get through with 4 chafing dish options, French fries, potatoes, bacon and chicken sausages. There was omelet station with 1 chef, 1 carving station chef and 1 mini waffle maker. Also there was cross contamination from the carving station to the omelet station ingredients. The entire setup and execution was a mess. For $85.00 per person plus 20% gratuity I expect much more. If you're planning on this next year, I would seek out other options. I was also charge twice for gratuity and for 4 alcoholic drinks that I did not order. I've contacted the "event manager" with no response back.

Attention: new chef!!!I dined with my fam in late January on a weekend for their brunch. At first glance at the menu it might seem slightly pricey but wow, the amount and quality was way more/better than I expected. My breakfast burrito was bigger than a super burrito from the Mission and had much yummier ingredients- organic spinach and veggies and sooo many eggs. I am a big eater but I had to take half home for the next day's brunch/lunch. My son loved his large cheeseburger and fries and I can't remember what my slightly picky husband ate but he ate it all! The chef came out and told us that he ran the kitchens at Stanford before this gig and explained how and what he used to make our food. Also, a shoutout to the bartender who we have been served drinks and bar bites with a few times - she is such a sweetheart (omg, I have not their names!) I really hope this chef stays so go support!! Also to the Bay Club or someone else, please post the daily and weekend brunch menus that I forgot to take pictures of or I'll just have to go back this Saturday or Sunday to do it !

Used club lifestyle points and had a wonderful meal! While it was 3 pm, no wait and comfy seating options. There were folks doing laptop work scattered in the dining area. Loved the shrimp cocktail (good size prawns!), sirloin steak (12 oz. That was juicy and nicely seasoned) with fries, burger and for dessert we shared a yummy chocolate mini bundt cake with berries. Service was great, wished I remembered our servers name (African american with glasses) as he was pleasant and efficient. Well, will just have to return and hope to get the same server and try to remember to take pix of the dessert

Inside bayclub RW Shores. Don't have to be a member to got to the restaurant. Huge TVs. Good for watching games. Larger than most sports bars. Both bar and sit down table service. Favorite item: salmon salad. They pan sear the salmon and serve it while it is still hot complemented with cool spring veggie mix and light vinagrette. Served with mustard sauce drizzle. Perfect after workout. One of the best salmon salads in the bay area along with Venti in Mtn View.

Start out with 5-stars -- we are members here and do like the food; but let's be real and see why we gave it 3-stars:-1.75 stars = they have terrible service. While the servers are nice, the service is slow, and they are not attentive. I came for the Fifa championships and we ordered lunch and drinks - two hours later it never arrived even after finding a different server so we left. On my birthday the service was slow and the drinks were slow to come out... it was nearly empty. The staff seems preoccupied, unorganized, and new to serving. -0.25 stars = inconsistency in the bar food. We've ordered fries there everytime we go for our kids on the weekends. Everytime they are different. Sometimes they are old and chewy, sometimes hot n fresh. It's very inconsistent -- and they are fries... get it right! This place has SO much potential. I mean, I would love to bring more family and friends and have a function here. It's just not running as efficiently as it should. But the bar, atmosphere, and menu are all good. Just needs to place a fire under the @$$ of the servers... (eh-hem: you get better tips when you are quick on your feet dude). OOOH also: pump it up at Brunch a little more. We went for Easter; it was good but not worth the price. Get some smoked salmon/capers/etc, and sushi/sashimi included in your line-up folks. Get something with a wow (take a look at the Ritz-Carlton brunch). People who come here have money and won't mind spending IF you have the right stuff. That is all :P

REVIEW FOR NONMEMBERSNo review for service or food. This review is to let anyone know, this place is:ONLY OPEN TO MEMBERS. My date and I went here the other night and were turned away and were told the restaurant/lounge is only open to members. There is a post here that says restaurant is open to non-members (not true!!!) and nowhere on their restaurant website does it state only for members, even gives you a number to make reservations.

Decided to give Seventy-Seven another try for a business lunch. This time the service was friendly and attentive. It really does depend on who is working. Kristeana did a great job with keeping waters and drinks filled while checking in on us a few times. She knew the menu very well. Go with their tacos, sliders, or even salads. Kitchen was fast as well. Great to not feel rushed during a business lunch. Thanks!

This restaurant is easily the most disappointing part about the bay club. It's always understaffed with simple food orders taking 30+ mins, the bar is also understaffed with inexperienced bar tenders, there's no management help anywhere and the food quality is quiet disappointing. Have zero hope and you might be ok.

Absolutely horrible horrible experience and I am a longtime Bay Club member.Tried to give this place another try after a prior visit eating mediocre food there. Was told I needed to use these Bay Club lifestyle points that are going to expire at the end of March. The points were supposedly good for a dinner for two off a very limited menu.I confirmed with the front desk manager and 77 bartender last Thursday that the offer was open till the end of March. The bartender even allowed me to take a photo of the menu.Showed up tonight with my wife and daughter. Had to stand for a few minutes in front of a basically empty dining area only to be ignored. Finally went to the bar and flagged someone down asking if the restaurant was still open.We were told we could seat ourselves which we did. A waiter then gave us menus and I said I would only need one because of the points. I had been planning to order one entree off the regular menu.He said they no longer honored their own points. A manager then came over and said they stopped honoring them in February 1. I told them what the front desk and their bartender told me and she said I was wrong and that they sent me an email on February 1 (what email?).Totally humiliating experience.I have no idea how this so called restaurant stays open.Terrible service, mediocre food (the last time I was able to eat it) and no clue how to honor commitments of their own staff.I went back to the bartender that showed me the limited menu and told him it was not being honored. To his credit, he said that can't be right.I walked out and found a real restaurant.
