San Jose Mexican Restaurant

Went for lunch today. The atmosphere was so relaxing. Our waiter was attentive. The food was delicious. I will be coming back.

My first ever visit was lunch time today. Restaurant was cheerfully decorated, absolutely clean, and the staff very friendly. My food arrived quickly, the portions were generous, and my meal was delicious. The manager came around and asked each customer if everything was alright. My waiter was very conscientious, friendly, and efficient. The staff works well together to provide great customer service. I enjoyed my visit and I will gladly return often.

This is Mexican food in the Carolinas so they're going to cover everything in a weird béchamel sauce. But the service was friendly and they had a delicious lime flavored margarita salt. And that counts for something.

We came for the lunch special. It was reasonably priced. Nothing really stood out. It was okay. They were not very busy yet did take their time to wait on us and sit us.

We came in the afternoon after the lunch rush and there was no one in the restaurant, so we got our food pretty quickly. However, when we went up to the counter to pay, the waitress who seemed new anyways, had put the wrong prices on our tickets. Another lady had to change that, then they changed the prices on the menu and failed to inform us of those changes and the changes were not listed on the menu. One of our party members ended up paying $12 for a meal that should have been $7 or $8! We have been here hundreds of times and they have now changed the menu and were not nice about it. The waitress seemed like she was new and didn't know what she was doing...she claimed she didn't hear us say lunch. So don't go here on the weekend or after lunch because you can't order from the lunch menu anymore. They used to let you order from the lunch menu and they just added a $1 after lunch hours. Not anymore. Go to Fiesta Cancun or El Tap!

Went again to San Jose & ordered the same Shrimp Rice dish.. this time the nice large shrimp were cooked perfectly, but I forgot to request the cheese sauce be on the side (or left off), so I was too full to finish my nice shrimp & took them home to enjoy. I had asked for Hot Tea, and received Herbal Tea, which I don't much like, so it reminds me now to ask about the tea, (or put tea bags in my purse). Not a problem.. just information for future tea drinkers to be aware of. Neighboring table had Fajitas sizzling skillets & it was so enticing, I will order some next time! I'm not sure we should be charged for sour cream, if it's requested because the salsa is too spicy for someone. Otherwise, good place & we will be back again soon!

Quick service, large portions, bottomless refills. We went at lunch. A great place for a quick bite with no waiting.

I've never ordered something I didn't like. All the food is great, servers are nice, food is authentic. My family eats here all of the time. Hey! On Tuesday's if you have kids, the eat free (*one per adult.)Three kids, take you, your wife, your mom, and then all the kids eat free.

The reason I put a 4 is bc they took mad long to bring me my fish tacos. That's the only complaint I have.Overall the fish tacos was shmackin.

Food ,rice was under cook peppers an onions was not cook right food was sliding off my tray like runny no cheese on my trio acp shrimp was nice size but the runny sauce an under done peppers an onions an tortillas thin couldn't fit no meat or rice price was over price 3 PLATES almost 60$ an was a runny authentication never again step it up or step it out!
