Perfect place for celebrating and having a good time. We had a Party of 6 celebrating a birthday. Zack and the owner drank with us really partaking in the celebration. Great food and ambience! We ate til past closing and really appreciated their accommodations as we were pretty buzzed. Highly recommended for food and service. Must order kalbi and beef tongue. Cheese corn and yum yum ice cream for a finishing touch!!

We had made a reservation for our group, and were seated quickly. It wasn't too busy, so they didn't seem to be enforcing a time limit. You order through your phone, and they bring everything out fairly quickly. There's a lot of variety, with different marinades for different kinds of meat, as well as a lot of already-cooked foods as well. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed by the quality of the meat. The pork belly wasn't bad, but the bulgogi was tough to eat. The seafood and the beef belly were probably the best, but everything else was just okay. The banchan and sides could also have been better, but most of the banchan lacked flavor. The service, though, was great! They came to check on us regularly for grill changes and food was brought out quickly. They also give you ice cream at the end of your meal. For the price, I wasn't impressed by the quality of the meat, but we may have come on an off-day.

It was honestly 4.2 because the appetizer were good, not out of this world. The beef was good not a huge fan of pork and the rice was nice. (Lol that rhymes) Me and my friends came sauced at damn near closing and they were super friendly and welcoming even though we were lowkey some big backs.I would definitely go back, I enjoyed so much that I'm sick of meat, lol #going vegan! Side note: none of those waiters/servers there were female so I wish there was more eye candy. The only thing that would've made it a 5 star would have been a few ABG's.

The food was great except for the bulgogi which had some really chewy parts. The River Prawn was ok . The shrimps were a little soggy ., The service from Edmond and Curtiss was excellent. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. They kept checking back with me to see if I was still going to order more. They were so polite and kind.,The place was very clean and nicely decorated. I will be back for sure. I highly recommend the place.

Tried out Zajang Grill with a group of 6, I hadn't gone to KBBQ in quite some time so I was excited to eat here. We had a reservation and were seated while we were waiting for the rest of our party. Service was pretty good, we had the AYCE 90-minute time limit and online ordering system explained to us when we sat down. We tried all the different types of meats and flavorings they had, and I found the quality really varied. Of the proteins, we only really liked the beef belly, bbq pork, and river prawns, though you are limited to 2 river prawns per person. The brisket and bulgogi were too lean and quite chewy, and nothing stood out about the pork belly. The banchan, while varied, were overall disappointing - kimchi was old and bean sprouts lacked flavor. I did enjoy the pickled radish, which was sliced into thin circles and went well with the richer meats. The sauces were kinda weird, they had a ssamjang, light soy, and ranch?? I found the ranch so off-putting lol. Overall, the food itself is a 3/5, but with the solid service, I'll round it up to 4/5. If I ever came again I would just stick to the meats I liked this time.

Was in the area and looking for an all you can eat place. Came around 12 in the afternoon on a Sunday. It wasn't too busy, however, I believe there was only one server. Honestly, he did really good for how many people there were! You can tell he was rushing though. Personally I think the price was a bit high. I've definitely had good AYCE KBBQ for under $40 in other areas around the Bay. However, the nice thing about this place was that you can order endless amounts. Some places only allow you to order 3 or 4 at a time, and you order it all through your phone! The place seems small on the outside but is definitely a lot bigger inside. The food was also really good and you can tell its quality! 4 stars just because of the price and because I'm not sure if it was just that weekend, but I do think there needs to be at least one other staff member. With that being said, our sever was nice and I really give him props for serving 10 tables at one time!!

Place was okay, nothing amazing. I CAN BELIEVE THEY RAN OUT of the PRAWNS when we got there. Use to love coming to carbon grill back in the day with the green sauce and although the owner said they bought the recipe, i just don't think it's the same. Typical kkbq joint. Little skeptical of the sides. Chicken karate was literally chicken nuggets. Super small enoki wrapped mushroom. Not a bad restaurant but one of those you have to try cuz you know Asian kids love trying new hot pot spots and if you really love it you'll be back but unfortunately, that's not the case for me.

Food: 4.5/5I think they have good selection of meat and side dishes. However, one meat (i think its beef belly) are hard to chew and I felt so bad not eating it. Overall, great food. You should try the soup and fish cakes!Service: 5/5They are very attentive right when we enter they assisted us to the table. The server asked us also if its our first time and gave us instructions how to order. I like how they have advanced system support for ordering which is very convenient.Ambience: 4.5The place is not too loud inside. However, the only downside is the lights are not well lit and we can't see if our meat is cooked properly. Overall, this is gonna be one of my go to kbbq spot in sf. I recommend this!
