Yomie's Rice X Yogurt

I was a little skeptical of rice inside my drink but I think I've come around to it. I got the Yomie's Purple Rice Yogurt at 25% sweet and I think it had a good yogurt funk to it as well as the tender but not overly soft purple rice that lent an earthy flavor to the drink.Parking can be a bit rough in the area, its a bit small, and the trash overflowing a bit took away from the experience.

I've been coming here on and off when I'm in the area. They usually have parking right in front. When I'm here, I usually get the salty egg yogurt though I occasionally get a fruit yogurt. Its always yummy and although it's a bit small for the price, it's filling since it's yogurt. The inside is clean and it looks like they recently upgraded the seating. Definitely give it a try!

Loved the purple rice yogurt drink . I get it with the less sugar option . Not cheap loaded to the size (about 8$)but worth it . The purple rice is chewy and yummy and the combination with the yogurt drink creates a great drink overallRecommended !

Tried the purple rice yogurt drink + avocado yogurt smoothie. Both the taste and the service were alright. Very small store, so more suitable for takeout orders.

Delicious! I wish they had more locations in socal. If i lived closer I would come everyday. My fav is the purple rice original yogurt

It's so refreshing. I love the chewy texture of the purple rice plus the yogurt flavor is so tempting. My friend got the mango sago. :)

Heard good things about the Yomie in Oahu so I was excited to try the Millbrae location. I wasn't sure what to expect but the purple yogurt rice drink tastes exactly how it sounds - plain yogurt and plain rice. If you like those flavors and textures you would enjoy it but it personally wasn't for me. We also got the Mango Pomelo Sago (called "Yanghzi manna yoghurt" on the self-serve tablet) which was more blended and icy, but still creamy and yummy. But after a while, the coldness of the drink froze the sago which affected the texture.This review is mostly for the girl working on January 16th at 12pm. We had trouble finding the mango pomelo sago on the self-serve tablet, so I asked her where I could find it on the menu. She swung the tablet around and started clicking around for it, then swung it back without saying a word. It wasn't labeled as Mango Pomelo Sago and she didn't say anything so I confirmed with her if that was the one. She just nodded her head yes so I said okay and paid for the drink. I just assumed she had lost her voice or couldn't speak but when the drinks were ready she called our order number perfectly fine??? When I was a bobarista even on my worst days I would still respond to customers...There's too many options out there to justify returning for the small overpriced drinks and strange customer service

The store is a located on a less busy street and there is street parking. We got the Yomie's Oats Yogurt smoothie. You can adjust the sugar level to your liking. We got regular sugar level. The drink was not bad. It was more sweet than tart. The drink wasn't too thick but had more of a watery consistency. Price was a bit steep for the product and size.There were a few tables inside but the store is pretty small.

So much hype, but I was kinda let down :( I had my first yogurt rice drink in Hawaii and it was amazing, so I was excited to try some in the area. I got the famous purple rice drink and it was nothing special. The rice was the most disappointing part.. a bit hard and had no chew whatsoever. It tasted like it had been frozen and then not completely thawed or had been chillin in the cold drink for way too long. The disappointment was real ya'll. My friends got the fruitier drinks (passion dragonfruit & mango) and enjoyed them a lot! Those drinks didn't have purple rice.

Yogurt and purple rice sounds like a very interesting idea. The drink combination however is not my cup of tea. The purple rice is too hard IMO. It tasted like it wasn't fully cooked and can use an extra couple of minutes. I selected less sweet and no ice as optional customization from the ordering kiosk. Well, this drink requires massive amount of ice so that could not be done. Why is that even an option then? As to sweetness, I ordered less sweet and it came out without much sweetness at all! Ugh! Those customizations are awful! Overall, not impressed!
