This is my favorite place to stick up on fresh produce and OMG, the fresh Asian noodle selection is unmatched!Plan to spend plenty of time to explore here- they have a little bit of everything from every Asian culture. There's also a selection of interesting kitchen gadgets/knickknacks in the back of the store. Don't be intimidated by the frequent long lines at the cashier-- they move quickly. This grocery store is truly a hidden gem.

This little store has the freshest veggies and Asian veggies I've been able to find in the city. I wish they would cover the beans so the flies wouldn't land on them. The cashiers are not friendly. Bring cash.

Many of their fruits & veggies are not fresh. Check the canned goods as they are expired. The cashier fellow is a jerk. Saw him ring up wrong amounts for this elderly lady and act like an ass when she raised the problem.

The hype is real. Great prices and fresh veggies. They fit a lot into this shop, and the line move quickly. I also feel that they are cleaner than the other grocers in this area.I try to come earlier around when they open or later when they are about to close as I don't like lines or too many people.Brought some yummy longan (dragon's eye) fruit here recently. It's a tad pricey at $9.99 a pound but so good.

Sure, I could of gone to a supermarket for fruits and vegetables, but it's more interesting to visit a Chinese produce store on Clement in SF. I was just cruising thru SF and decided to visit "new Chinatown " as they used to call it.Chinatown stores sometimes get the reputation of selling "less than top quality" produce. That's why it's cheaper. But the fruit I bought today looked just like bananas in Luckys. The tangerines were beautiful! The store wasn't really busy, just a typical Saturday. Anyway, it's Chinatown so expect to get bumped in this store with narrow aisles. The place is loaded with various fruits and vegetables. Also sauces for cooking. The cashier was a nice man who spoke broken English to me. Pretty straight forward, they weigh it and you pay. Pay cash, and the transaction is done quick.Good deal

Needing just a few Shanghai baby bok choy for a soup sent me into this jam-packed green grocer that carries spectacular produce. Everything was so fresh; Yin Xing's offerings went way above what you'd usually find especially at a smaller family store. They pack a lot into a little space yet it's still easy to navigate. Not only well organized, service is friendly and super speedy.I'd reckon Yin Xing carries some of the freshest fruit and vegetables in the city *and* at rock bottom prices.Cash only.

CASH ONLY PEOPLE. My family shops here and I'm sure all my aunts and uncles take the muni to shop here too. They have incredibly fresh produce at affordable prices, actually quite cheap compared to May Wah supermarket two-ish blocks away. If you're that type of shopper who goes from store to store to see what the prices are, I bet you Yin Xing is the one offering lowest prices on Clement. From fruit to veggies, noodles and tofu, they have a lot of variety in a small store. The place is owned by a couple and their daughter, you'll know them since they're the cashiers! Omg the lady processes the produce so quickly it's amazing. So if the line is long, do not fret! Almost always it goes by quickly.
