Boba shops have sprouted all over San Francisco. There are individual locally started owned Boba shops and then you have the franchises like Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea. I like going Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea( now better known at this location as Chinatown Taiwan Fruit Tea) because it has consistency I could expect like making my Boba not too sweet. This Chinatown location has limited seating but has so many different types of Boba options. I chose the Mango Pomelo Sago and it was smooth and tasty. Photo is from after I shook up the drink & took a sip (I couldn't wait). Loved the brown sugar Pearl matcha milk tea boba. I've heard some complaints from friends about their fruit teas, but this milk tea was great. I wish the tapioca was slightly harder, but not much else to complain about. Location: they have a self-service kiosk or you can order at the cashier. Seating is limited (more of a place for takeout). Service is fast and efficient!

Yi Fang Fruit Teas are refreshing. There are many varieties of drinks. We ordered online so the wait when we arrived was short. We didn't need to wait too long for our drinks. We ordered a grass jelly tea with grass jelly hot drink and a Kyoto Uji matcha latte. I cannot say for the latter drink, but the grass jelly was good. The shop itself was small, mellow on the quiet side and not much lighting.

Good boba and fruit teas with a decent amount of options to select from. However, this location has some tough competitors. I ordered the brown sugar pearl latte, the quality of each ingredient was good, with the boba balls being not too hard to chew. The only problem I had was with the ratio of brown sugar and milk, there wasn't enough brown sugar for the amount of milk given. My friend said that the sugarcane mountain tea tasted had an authentic and fresh flavor. I enjoyed the mix of modern and asian architectural design inside. The seating was limited but thats to be expected with most boba places. The staff were friendly and quick with making our drinks.

I personally love a strong tea taste and sadly this tea latte mostly tasted like fruity milk. I did like their peach series and enjoyed the peach chunks at the bottom but if you're looking for a tea drink I would skip out on this one.

Pretty cool bubble tea placeTucked in a whole in the wall in Chinatown, this bubble tea place is not bad.The service is quick. Staff are friendly. Price is reasonable, not higher or lower than other bubble tea places. The inside of the store is clean and nicely renovated. Everything looks well kept.The drinks are not bad. Same quality as other YiFang places.Overall a not bad place to go grab some bubble tea!

This place was really easy to miss since I didn't see a sign saying "Yifang" only in small words "Chinatown Taiwan Fruit Tea." So glad we stumbled upon it because the drinks tasted great. It wasn't busy and we used the self-service kiosks to order and pay. Got the large grass jelly almond latte 70% sweet (good but will do 50% sweet next time) and large smashed lemon iced black tea 50% sweet (word of warning, it says to enjoy within the hour and trust me, listen to them. If you like to babysit it and sip it over the course of a few hours it will taste extremely bitter and unpleasant!).Will def be back here next time we're in Chinatown!

Was walking through Chinatown on a hot day wearing jeans and I needed something to cool me down.I was going to settle for whatever the closest boba tea shop was but my sister insisted we walked a few minutes further for Yifang and I'm glad I listened.The lychee aloe sago was so good and refreshing.I love sago so to have it in a drink form with lychee flavors, aloe, AND to find two whole lychees at the bottom of the drink to eat afterwards was so delicious.This will be my go-to drink anytime I go here now.

I came in right when the store opened and was able to order using their self service machines. The matcha wasn't too sweet nor too bitter it was the perfect mix.
