After a six month closure Villa Lucia's reopened in late 2024. Many of the staff returned and the new owner is serving up classic Italian American fare. The dishes are very reminiscent of Chicago style Italian food. The house dressing is an herby red wine vinaigrette. Pizza was excellent with a buttery garlic flavored crust.Happy that a local joint managed to reopen and continue in the community.

We really enjoy the pizza here and are happy to support a local family business.The only issue really is that it's regularly closed for extended periods of time and there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason but we could just be missing the announcements.

Service was excellent and friendly. Pasta dishes were good as well as the salad and minestrone soup. You may want to call ahead to see if they have their liquor license yet. When we went two weeks ago, we didn't realize they didn't have it yet

So great to have this peninsula institution reopen. I've eaten at Villa Lucia's since I was a kid, but it was starting to get stodgy and outdated under the previous owner.I went to check it out over the weekend with a buddy and we had a great meal with excellent service. The new owner is doing a great job of preserving the old school feel, but breathing some new life into the place. The remodel is coming along nicely and he said they're going to be adding some new menu items in the coming months. Can't wait for them to start serving beer and wine again!Good on you for keeping an old school local spot alive.

Ordered a meat calzone, clam pizza and their wings. Wings were great and crispy. Pizza is on the thicker side; if you like a doughy crust like I do I would recommend it. Calzone was fantastic; would come back for that alone. Fair pricing and portions; great take out of experience

Villa Lucia has a new owner and he's been bringing great upgrades to the menu and the decor. Pizzas and salads taste fresh and delicious. Very pleasant service. The kiddos were raving about pasta alfredo.
