Valencia Whole Foods

Valencia Whole Foods isn't affiliated with the John Mackey Whole Foods originally started in Austin & recently bought out by Amazon. No Valencia Whole Foods is a small Natural Foods store in the Mission that has been around for a long time friends tell me.It is a Natural Food store worth supporting. The staff here is friendly. The produce here is all organic & the produce selection here is quite alright.I am a big fan of their broccoli as they might have the best broccoli in town even better than Rainbow. Rainbow sets the standard for having the best produce in the City yet wherever Valencia Whole Foods gets their broccoli is simply awesome stock here! Thanks Valencia Whole Foods. I will be back.

TL;DR - Convenient but pricy!The produce section has extremely fresh vegetables and fruits! However it's slightly more expensive than I'm used to. They have tons of popular and niche brands too.Just a note, they don't have a meat counter but if you are looking for vegetarian meat, this is definitely a go-to place as they have so many options.

very pricey but has great healthy options for grab-and-go foods (sandwiches, wraps, sushi) and basic groceries and household essentials you might need! for the ease of access to brand-name groceries in the mission, it's a good spot to check out. the staff are also very friendly!

I stopped in here on the way home from the vet to get some organic raw chicken to cook up for my old pup. As a vegetarian, I'm not used to buying meat but I was pleasantly surprised to find this grocery store that sold just what I was looking for, albeit at a (much) higher price than expected.The store is very clean and well organized, and the cashier was very kind and professional.There aren't a lot of great options for groceries that aren't totally overpriced or not the greatest quality, in the mission. This was both convenient in location and had what I needed, overpriced organic raw chicken aside ($12 for a single chicken breast).

I stopped in to check out the store and it's inventory. Everything was nice, clean and organized. The pricing is what really forced me to not make a purchase at that moment in time. I really liked the variety and healthy options available here. Other than the pricing this was a nice business. PS. There is no parking other then street parking, so be mindful of that.

Not a Whole Foods Market!Exactly why you would want a place like this. Support your local shop and stores & Groceries.Or be faced with expensive price.Funny how people go to Mollie Stone's to shop fancy but there's rich and better versions here!They have a food bar. Nice selection.Charming Shop.

Valencia Whole Foods evoked thoughts of Whole Foods. just a slight resemblence. only salad/soup bar for prepped eats. didn't see/didn't look for beers. tea was my goal.shelf loaded with snacks, convienence foods, sauces, condiments, coffee, tea, etc.buys: "honest tea" moroccan mint green tea (2.09)-satisfying drink with low sugar content, strong tea taste.4.5 starsquick in and out., 4ish stars.

This place is ok to grab something in a pinch. But I would not do alot of my shopping here. It is very pricey for what they have.

Great neighborhood market with friendly service, yummy high quality produce, and a delightful shopping experience.

They have such a wonderful selection of unique foods. They do a great job bringing the community new and exciting goods.
