Ooh I loved how kid friendly this beautiful wine bar is!EVERY wine bar needs a kids' table! There's a small kids table in the corner of the restaurant that had crayons and a princess coloring book. We were able to walk in on a Saturday afternoon after strolling over from an event by the water. I enjoyed my white wine, though honestly there are very few white wines I find unenjoyable. My husband didn't like the beer he got. They have a pretty full menu for being a wine bar, with lots of small plates and entree options. The entrees are pretty pricey so we opted not to get anything, but I would come back for a date night or something since many of the entree options seemed intriguing. They seem to change around the menu a bit as many of the pictures I perused on Yelp were not on the menu. We ended up getting deviled eggs (3) and roasted cabbage salad. I saw on yelp that it was bathed in dressing, so had it on the side. Cabbage is presented as a full half cabbage, and only lightly roasted in the top. Our server was super sweet.

We had a very nice dinner here. The food is pretty good (although the servings were small and it was a little overpriced), there was a wide drink selection (just no cocktails), and this spot was shockingly kid-friendly. PARKINGA little difficult at 5pm on a Tuesday. You have to go on the side streets. There are people leaving around this time, so we circled a little and found a spot within 2 blocks.RESERVATIONSMade less than a week in advance. They weren't too busy (Tuesday at 5pm, group of 6) and we would have been fine without a reservation.FAMILY FRIENDLYThey really went above and beyond. There was a kid's table with 2 kid's chairs near the back, where they had coloring books and coloring pencils. There was a 2-tier stool by the bathroom sinks. There was a legit changing table in one of the bathrooms - not the Koala ones that fold down from the wall - a white changing table that you might have in your own house. And there was a toilet seat cover for the toddlers. The only thing I didn't see was any kid-friendly dinnerware (we didn't specifically ask - but if a restaurant has them, they usually just bring it out). THE COSTOur lovely friends got the bill as it was my birthday, but I believe it was quite high.. upper $400s for dinner and drinks for 4 adults, 2 toddlers, 1 baby.THE FOODSMALL BITES* Celery Salt Fries ($8) - 3.5 stars. On the crisp side, nicely done.* Deviled Eggs ($12 for 3) - 3 stars. Seemed fine to me (I'm not usually a fan of deviled eggs generally so hard to say). * Hush Puppies ($12) - 3 stars. A bit dry and flavorless.MEDIUM BITES* PEI Mussels ($26) - 4 stars. Tasty yet simple, lovely toasted bread, nicely flavored broth.* Duroc Pork Ribs ($25) - 4 stars. Quite interesting, particularly with the kumquat adding a bitter-y tang.LARGE BITES* Okinawan Sweet Potato ($34) - 3.5 stars. Interesting flavors and a unique dish, but a very tiny serving for the price point!* Olivier's Pork Loin ($40) - 3.5 stars. Meat texture was soft, fairly muted flavors, fine but not a standout. * Mt. Lassen Trout ($38) - 4 stars. Perfect texture, pink in the middle. Just a very small serving for a "large bite" and at this price point.SWEET BITES* Honeynut Squash ($14) - 4 stars. Our server described this as kind of a pumpkin pie, and it was that and more, with texture, and the curried cream a very interesting flavor pairing.* Gooey Butter Cake ($12) - 4 stars. Certainly gooey, and lovely.

If you're looking for a chill and cozy spot with great hospitality to catch up with friends, this is a local gem! Our sommelier (I forgot her name ) was so so nice, giving us recommendations for the kinds of wine we wanted (even though we really have no knowledge of wine). The fries were also so crunchy and perfectly salty too that we ordered them twice! Highly recommend. My group actually came here because we'd made a reservation at GluGlu but they had to close last minute. They booked us here instead and we ended up still enjoying our time.

My coworker & I stopped in on our lunch break for a change of scenery & it definitely didn't disappoint! The inside is filled with bottles of wine you can taste and/or take home, & has a rather industrial chic vibe to it which I loved. We were quickly seated & served, giving us enough time to make it back to work on time! For lunch, we split their Green Papaya Salad, filled with leafy greens, green papaya, feta, & Kalamata olives, topped with an oregano vinaigrette. It was so refreshing & flavorful! Then we split the Mushroom Toast, which was so savory & delicious! It included trumpet, hen of the woods, & enoki mushrooms, along with goat cheese & pickled daikon. & to top it all off, we ordered some churros which were absolutely to die for! While all of the food was great, the churros definitely were our favorite dish.

This is a REALLY GOOD wine bar and restaurant with a deep selection to enjoy there and also take home. I've been with friends, coworkers, family -- it's a perfect spot and can accommodate groups. The food is actually phenomenal, beyond what you might expect at any wine bar. But above all, my absolute favorite part about Ungrafted is how kid-friendly it is. There's a changing table there that's nicer than my one at home and a little kids table to keep the older ones busy. All the sommeliers are so nice and Chris, the owner, is such a friendly neighborhood presence! Can't recommend this place enough.

An unexpected delight. Came here for a set price lunch and wasn't disappointed. Not sure why the place wasn't full as the food is amazing and the staff is attentive and helpful. Ate outside which was a treat.First course was a roasted cabbage which was unctuous and wonderful. Added deviled eggs which were decent but not next level. Fish course was excellent. Really great. And the dessert was just the right finishing touch.Overall an excellent meal and super great experience. Thanks!!

Came for a friend's birthday and thought it was a nice place for a gathering. They have an extensive drink list with wines, beer, sake, etc including a whole binder of bottles. I opted for the Untitled Art Mango and Dragonfruit sour which is a Non-alcoholic drink. I was very impressed as the light fruit sediment gave enough sweetness to arguably the best NA sour I've had thus far. Even when the drink has sat out for a little longer, it was still drinkable.Started with everything spiced fries and it comes with a great green onion and yogurt dip. The deviled eggs with whitefish roe and chives were unspectacular but still good. The last of our small bites was the zaatar pull apart bread with labne. Bread was very fragrant and soft like challah and while the labne was a good dip, honestly it's literally a yogurt. For the medium bites, I didn't get to try the cabbage portion of the roasted cabbage dish but the trout roe and green goddess sauce I scraped to clean up the dish was delicious. Yes, portions are on the smaller side here. The shrimp coptel with calamari, gooseberries and avocado showed me how you can use gooseberries in a savory dish. I thought the dish had a good kick and blended many different flavors and textures well. Finally I truly loved the trumpet mushrooms with strawberry gochujang because even though it says "gochujang" which is Korean, I found this dish to not be spicy at all and actually reminding me of Guo bao - Chinese sizzling rice that gets served with a sweet and sour sauce just like the strawberry gochujang. For the entrees we also split those and I would say my biggest gripe is that we didn't have enough food. I'd like to see portion sizes way bigger to showcase how delicious the food is and make sure family style is possible to give everyone a good size portion. This place tries to be a wine bar but really should grow more towards a gastropub in portion size because the space already screams gastropub/alc market. Anyways we split the potato and celery root pave which is like a layered tart. That came with a delightfully peppery coconut spaetzle. Finally we had the steak au poivre with mini crispy shoots of potato and black truffle so it was like a micro steak frites. Steak was rare to medium rare - just the way I like it.Oh for the birthday dessert, there was a curry and I think pumpkin pie. Absolutely loved the flavor!I would come back but probably do my own 3 course meal. It's a good date spot in the sense you can share these dishes like fries and other bites (shrimp coptel) amongst 2 but any more than that, people will go hungry. Entrees are strictly for 1 person.

Had a brunch here with friends on Saturday. It's a nice place, very spacious, with friendly staff all around. On the second floor, there was a private event that made it quite loud and echoed a lot, likely due to the building's structure. This seemed to be the case regardless of any events happening. The food was okay: the hot dog bun had too much bread, but the sausage was on the thin side. However, it tasted good. The chicken sandwich was delicious, but the onion rings didn't impress me because they weren't fully cooked. Personally, I like my onions well done.

After hearing about this place several times I finally made it to Ungrafted for a couple glasses of wine and some light bites. The wines were all excellent. The waiter had wonderful suggestions and was highly knowledgable. They menu had very limited vegan options so I was limited to the french fries (which were delicious). The space is cool, industrial and open. I like that you can browse some bottles of wine and pick them up to go. This place is a great concept and I will certainly be back!
