The place is beautiful and classy-looking -- check!The drinks are well-made and use Sightglass coffee -- check!The pastries were fine (though not life-changing) -- semi-check.Some details: I got lobby WiFi for my iPad, but there was only one outlet that I could find in the whole room. (It's in a corner.) If you want to use the restroom, you need a card to convince the elevator to take you up to the third floor. (This was not an issue for me because I was a hotel guest. I imagine that cafe patrons who need the loo can get a temporary card from the baristas?)There are robots roaming around, and they're cute. If you're in a hotel room, you can order robot delivery to your room. Apparently, a robot will take the elevator and text you that she's arrived at your door. When your door is open, the robot will sense that and roll in to deliver your lukewarm latte to the room.Prices here were 30-40% higher than at my favorite places a few miles away in the East Bay.

I love the feel of the place, with its comfy seats and peaceful atmosphere. That said, the couple of times i've been here, what i got were not bad, but also nothing to rave about. I've tried their cappuccino and a seasonal drink (tiger coffee?). I've also tried a mochi pastry. I might give this place one more chance, for the atmosphere.

Nice and clean cafe that serves Craftsman and Wolves pastries. I think I would only go back for the pastries because their hot chocolate was one of the worst things I've ever tasted. It was probably more bland than if I had just put a few M&M's in a cup of hot water. Maybe it was a bad day, but that was unsatisfying.

I've been to Twyne a couple times in the morning to do some work. Twyne is a beautiful coffee shop in the first floor of Luma Hotel. It's a great place to work, its usually not too loud and there are a lot of seats and outlets. I'm honestly not a fan of their drinks though, they are pretty overpriced and not even that good. Their holiday special peppermint latte was $10, and not that flavorful (I prefer the peppermint drink at Starbucks). The Matcha Latte was pretty watery and didn't have a strong matcha flavor ($6.50). Their Americano was ok, I could make better coffee at home. It sounds like their food is pretty good though from reading the reviews. I'll definetely be back because I do love working here though!

Best pastries ever and a big surprise that they were from a bakery I had wanted to try for years! All three were great and the service was also nice

We stayed at Luma and found the cafe to be a nice surprise when we got up. Ordered the rebel breakfast muffin which has a poached egg inside. Very fresh! The matcha was the perfect start to the morning and well made! Love the quick service.

I live in the neighborhood and decided to try TWYNE. Waited a minute and nobody acknowledged me. I finally asked if they were open. They took my order for a cold brew and then told me it was in the back. I told them I'd wait. They brought out a keg of cold brew and then all five of the "baristas" couldn't figure out how to connect the keg. It was hysterical. I never got my cold brew, but I got a comedy show. Sightglass, train your employees at TYWNE, they have no idea what they are doing.

This cafe is attached to the very busy Luma Hotel. I can best describe it as a cafe with amazing Asian pastries. Both sweet and savory. I had never heard of mochi muffins. I wish I could have tried everything in behind the glass case.
