We were looking for a place with tasty beer. And this bar was a great place. $5 Guinness on Tuesdays is perfect. We chose simple snacks without any expectations. Sports, friendly atmosphere, attentive bartenders made our evening wonderful and fun. We'll be back 100%

Trinity, the Irish pub in San Francisco, is a true gem for those seeking an authentic Irish experience. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and lively ambiance transported me straight to the Emerald Isle. The menu at Trinity is a testament to the rich culinary traditions of Ireland. Whether you're savoring the hearty banger and mash, indulging in perfectly cooked fish and chips, or relishing a pint of Guinness, every dish feels like a genuine homage to Irish flavors. The staff's hospitality at Trinity is unmatched, creating an inviting environment that encourages patrons to linger and enjoy the company of friends. The live music, often featuring traditional Irish tunes, adds an extra layer of charm to the overall experience. The authenticity of Trinity extends to its well-curated selection of Irish whiskies and beers, providing a diverse range for both connoisseurs and those new to Irish libations. In the heart of San Francisco, Trinity stands out as a haven for those seeking not just a meal but a cultural journey. If you're looking for a taste of Ireland with a side of warm hospitality, Trinity is the place to be. Five stars - an experience that captures the spirit of Ireland!

Came here in the afternoon on a Sunday football day! It wasn't packed so we were able to get a seat and hopefully escape the SF heatwave. We got a shot and it was good as well as some beers. Good service and ambience overall!

So happy this little Irish slice of heaven opened up on union! Aside from the funny and interactive staff - the Guinness is creamy and delish- while the Smash burger juicy and tasty! (Perfect medium rare, sauce was delish!) There's more on the menu than just a burger and Shepard's pie - so definitely check it out. Ambiance wise- oh yes- y'all did it right: plants, open concept, outdoor corridor w seats- and most importantly, super dog friendly. (Yes, bring your Sprinkles or Admiral inside with you!!) Alex, the co- owner is lovely and fun to talk to; looking forward to swinging by again real soon.

First things first, this establishment has THE nicest servers I've come across in a long while. But considering this is a pub, there aren't a lot of beer choices. The wine section is a bit limited as well. Hard alcohol is the name of the game here. Regardless, I did have a tasty IPA.Dinner was fish 'n chips. It consisted of a very generous piece of cod and shoestring french fries. I really need everyone to get on board with the idea that the chips component of fish 'n chips should be steak fries. Big, fat steak fries. Slathered in ketchup. It was bingo night when I was there and that was heaps of fun. The Bingo Lady is very entertaining and who wouldn't want to play bingo for beer? If there were steak fries I'd be here every night.

ZOLA IS AWESOME !!! She was my server today, and did an outstanding job. She was very attentive, and handled a large, bustling crowd of people with great aplomb. She was also extremely friendly and warm, which added a lot to the experience. As far as the pub itself, it is a mellow, friendly dive bar, definitely very comfy and welcoming. The beer and wine lists are abysmal, however. (When I inquired about Chardonnay, I was told that they had some, but it was not chilled. Why have it on hand if you're not going to chill it?). If you're into whiskey/hard liquor/mixed drinks, you might like this place better than I do. If you like beer and wine, you are going to be somewhat disappointed by the paucity of choices. As far as the food, OK, but nothing special. At $18, The fish and chips seemed very reasonable. But when I received my order, I found that you only get one piece of fish, and the "chips" are basically shoestring fries, and very ordinary tasting at that.So nice ambience and very warm, friendly staff. Otherwise, a pretty average bar / restaurant.

Went in for brunch with a buddy to get a pint and the corned hash. The service was prompt, and the beer was cold but best of all the hash was delicious. The place is huge, but there is plenty of room for large groups.

The food is amazing! We walked in and the chef who is deeply passionate about making great food said "I want to make you something, and I'm so confident in it that I'll buy you an entree." Well I'm here to tell you that the food was so good, that gladly paid and very much look forward to another visit. The batter on the Fish & Chips was the crispiest I've ever had, while the inside was perfectly hot and tender. Plus, the cod is local! The Corned Beef and Cabbage is ridiculously good. The veggies, potatoes, the cookie and of course the corned beef were a symphony of flavor and texture. I hope Trinity gets the foot traffic the food warrants because it truly is a hidden secret. Keep up the great work!
