Tratto

Tratto hits the mark with their burger - a standout that's elevated by its delicious tomato jam and crispy prosciutto. What also makes it great is how they've managed to create a juicy burger that doesn't leave you feeling weighed down since it isn't greasy. The blood orange spritz was fantastic. It's a refreshing and tasty cocktail that I'd definitely come back for.One miss was the fritto misto - while not bad, it was underwhelming and didn't live up to the standards set by their other dishes. I'd skip this one on future visits.

We went here after seeing a play down the street at the Curran. It was convenient for an after matinee dinner. The menu had a variety of dishes so everyone was able to find something they liked. Everything was delicious. The service was great. My only complaint was that the doors were open on a windy day, so it was chilly inside. The candles on the table were in glass holders, so they didn't go out with the wind. We did almost set the menu ablaze since it was a little too dark to read the menu comfortably at a closer distance.

I have to say, the food at Trattos was absolutely excellent. Every dish we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented. The ambiance was great, and we were all enjoying our meal, until the very end.When we first asked our server if we could split the bill, he assured us that we could divide it multiple ways by itemization. However, when it came time to pay, he told us that we could only split the bill *four* ways equally, which caused a lot of confusion and frustration for our large group. This was a huge inconvenience for us, and it completely altered the vibe of our experience. We asked to speak to the manager who did not care to hear us out and made us feel as if he was dismissing our asks. The frustration stemmed from what we were previously told once we started ordering to being a completely different outcome in the end. If we would have known they would have made us split the bill equally four ways, we would have went about choosing a different place to eat. It is not convenient for large parties to go out to eat and not be able to split their check as they wish. We had no problem paying gratuity that was already included due to the large party. We just wanted a simpler way to pay, and they were adamant that they could not do that for us, which was a shame. If they are adamant about this payment process, they should really voice that to the customers before accommodating a large party. People often times go out as large parties for celebrations for birthdays or celebrations, etc. and it's very common for people to want to split the bill in order to pay their part.It's a shame because the meal was so good, but the way the bill was handled left a sour taste. We were really hoping for a more flexible solution, especially given the assurance earlier in the evening. I understand that managing large groups can be tricky, but when expectations are set one way and then changed last minute, it feels a bit unprofessional.Overall, I'd return for the food, but I'd be cautious about how the service may handle situations like splitting bills. Hopefully, they'll work on better communication in the future.

pizza is a bit too doughy for my taste while I generally prefer a little more crispier/crunchier bite. made reservation 2 hours in advance and it was hassle free, the restaurant did looked very full. presentation is great, nice modern interior/atmosphere. definitely a place that is pushing for their wine but the over all vibe is also good for family. gnocchi has good flavor but slightly on the soggy side of the al dente scale. salad was light and just the right amount of flavor. attractive staff!

Nice ambience and very friendly staff. The burger was top notch. The fries were crisp to perfection. I have to come back here and try their pasta, I'm sure it's going to be stellar!!!

I've been here before, back when Harry Potter was running at the theater, but that was years ago and all I remembered was the great proximity to the theater, and a solid affogato. I'm so glad we came here again, before seeing Without You. Drinks:White Negroni- not for me but I'm also not a Negroni girl Tratto spritz- boozy Italian soda pretty much. Tasty. Margherita pizza- perfectly what it's supposed to bePolenta fries- I crave these daily since we went. These are absolutely heavenly. Texture, flavor, temperature, perfection. Chicken thighs/ probably my least favorite thing we got, well cooked chicken that just tasted like lemon pretty much. Fine but overshadowed by the polenta. Service was great and understood our timeline for getting to the theater. I'll now look forward to going to shows even more knowing that I'll stop here for dinner first!

Amazing food but horrible service, I came with a group of 10 people for a friends birthday party and the first thing we asked was "can we pay on separate tabs?", the server said yes we could split it up with a MINIMUM of 4 cards. Turns out he meant to say MAXIMUM of 4 cards, which made it confusing and weird for our party. I talked to the manager who was no help at all, since the server made a mistake by saying we can split the bill with a minimum instead of maximum, they should have honored our request to split it between more than 4 cards since the server mis-spoke.The manager didn't care at all, and there was also an automatic tip of $95 included with an additional $24 service fee (what even is that?) and of course tax. DO NOT come here with big groups, again the food was good but the service was horrible. I personally will not be returning.

I'll be honest, the experience was really nice.I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which was awesome.The service was fast and respectful.It's a nice looking restaurant and that appears to be in the lobby of the Marker hotel.I would definitely return...,

The pizza with mushroom is extremely good, so good in fact we returned exactly a week later on our date night to order it again. Second time around we got the cannelloni as well. The cannelloni was delicious and the lemon gave it a nice brightness. We always get great service here and the new owner even came by to see how we were liking our food. Definitely recommend!
