Tokyo Grill

Anyone remember this Serramonte spot (in the same exact lot) called, "Quick Grill"? I think I was still a kid back then lol. I definitely recall a Quick Grill before the Serramonte food court renovation.Tokyo Grill carries the same vibe as its predecessor. Like Quick Grill, the menu items are more or less similar. The Grill provides chicken, short ribs, beef, shrimp, and filet of sole cooked up on a flattop grill. Customers have the option to choose any one of their favorite sauces to be tossed with their protein (and veggies): Teriyaki, Black Bean, Chili, Garlic or Soy. The veggies include some broccoli, zucchini and carrots (was that a single mung sprout in my pic?).There always seems to be at least 5-6 workers behind the counter, "quick grillin" our food and manning the register. This spot has their process down to a science.Tokyo Grill is definitely catered to the palate of shoppers, high school kids, families, old folks and non-hipsters. I mean, it's in my childhood mall! Lol! Though, Grill still deserves a review.After receiving your first order, you'll realize this is the type of spot to just "fill your mouth". The quality is decent. The cooks serves white rice (not fried) or customers can opt for their noodles (or mix via half n half). The noodles appear to be white, flour-based and boiled, then mixed in with your stir fry. It's not the best quality noodles but again, it's there to "fill your mouth". Considering their dishes are priced sensibly from $10-18, I would have never expected to anything more.I was actually surprised the cashier asked me how I wanted my NY Steak done (rare, medium, well, etc).Customers receive a decent portion of carbs and protein (for what they pay). Tokyo Grill is a solid 3 stars aye!

Don't waste your time just go to panda right next to it I thought I would give this place a shot And that was a mistake First the food is hellllla bland it doesn't taste like anything at all ...you barely can taste the grilled...this might as well be McDonald's I feel dumb for even eating here never again You better off just going to Trader Joe's and cooking your own food.It's super obvious they could care less about taste ...my advice if you want quick Asian food skip this place entirely Just got to either pandaOr sarku Japan at the mall Sad it's 3 "chefs " and the food taste like nothing Good luck ....if you value good food skip this place.

I got the 11. Bbq combo for $16.49. The short ribs was good but the noodles were plain and the rice wasn't soft.

It's one of my favorite places to go. I typically do the beef or short rib plate, half and half with rice & noodles. They give huge portions, and I love the crunchy vegetables. Thankfully, we ate here because I started to eat my plate and saw it wasn't really sauced up. I came back to ask for more sauce, and they just had me bring my plate over. Problem fixed, and I continued to get my grub on. This definitely hit the spot and is less than $20. I can not complain. People who work here are on it. They take your order right away and bring it down the line to get cooked up in no time. Didn't take a pic because I was hungry lol.

Not bad for a food court dinner.THE COST$43.11 total including tax/tip for 3 entrees (dinner for 2 adults, 2 toddlers, plus half a plate of leftovers).THE WAITThey were busy and had customers waiting for their food. Ahead of us were a couple groups at 5pm on a Tuesday evening in July. We waited maybe 5-10 minutes for our food to come out.THE SERVICEA little brusque, no-nonsense. If you ask for an extra bowl for sharing, it is $0.50. THE FOOD13. Beef Udon ($10.69) - 3 stars. This was fine - it actually felt like a small serving in terms of volume of actual noodles in the bowl. Usually between my 2 toddlers, one bowl of noodles is more than enough, but they were still a little hungry after eating this and we had to supplement with our food.2. Beef Teriyaki on Noodles ($11.69) - 3 stars. Beef was fine. Noodles were a little tough. The photos showed broccoli, but there was none, just cabbage and carrots. This was a huge serving and I couldn't finish it. 6. Beef & Shrimp on Rice ($13.29) - 3 stars. Generally fine. Too much cabbage. A big serving.

Selling pasta as an udon is not fair to customers! Be respectful! Never ever will go here again...

4.5 stars. I used to love coming to this place during college, and I'm glad know it's still here. Located in the food court of the Serramonte Mall, this is a decent place to stop by for a quick bite. Prices have gone up since then, but the portions are still pretty good, enough to fill you up.My favorite dish to get is the filet of sole. The sole is super tender. I usually either get it with all noodles or half and half, just depends on what I'm feeling at the moment. The BBQ short ribs are also a favorite of mine because it's packed with flavor.Service is okay, pretty much what you'd expect for a fast food place. So far I haven't had any problems here.Since it's located in a food court, seating is abundant, though the ambience will vary depending on the day.

Fast service, reliable dishes, and generous amounts of food is what I always find when I stop by here. Have eaten at this place more than most in this mall because I honestly think it's pretty good, especially for being fast food/ take away. Seating is ample depending on time as it's located in the food court. Online ordering would be a nice edition for here.

Came here yesterday for brunch with friend. My friend got her Jollibee fried chicken and I came here for ribs. But that is my worst choice.Look! You can see in the picture, basically most of the ribs were burnt and fat. Whoever cooked the ribs and put it in the box. Please do not give low quality foods to your customer. No customer wants to return to your place!Definitely not recommend this place :(

Annoying...... I ordered a udon soup and wanted to share it with my son that didn't feel well. I was nice enough to tip but the situation was interesting. I asked her for one extra plastic bowlwith a spoon. She looks at me with this snarky look and goes 50 cents. It made me think, really? You ever wonder why customers probably don't come back? They don't want to look at your unfriendly faces.
