The Pupuseria

Now these are pupusas done right! They're filled with savory, cheesy, gooey goodness and cooked to perfection. I ordered the party pack which by default, comes with half meat & cheese, and cheese only pupusas, but you can choose however many you'd like of each if you want more or less of the two. Menu is simple, ordering online was a breeze, and pickup was just as easy. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving some pupusas! This is where it's at!

I knew of this place based off a post I saw in a Facebook group called Bay Area Eats. I believe the manager said that there was a grand opening special where you can get a choice of two pupusas and a drink for a promo price.I was really hungry the other day and decided to do DoorDash delivery and try these pupusas out. The promo price for the 2 pupusas and drink were $7 online for delivery (it may be different in person). so I opted to get two orders for my fiancé and I. We were only able to select either 2 queso pupusas or 1 queso + 1 chicharrones, so we opted for the second option. The pupusas came by pretty quick since I live near the area. Inside each container came with utensils, curtido, and salsa.I have to say that these pupusas are pretty good! These are on the smaller side, but maybe my next order I'll opt to get an additional 2 more. Nonetheless, the chicharron was probably my favorite. Absolutely love the flavor of this one!! It wasn't overly salty or greasy either. The queso one was great as well. Definitely love the how the cheese oozed out in some areas and developed a cheese crust. The curtido had such a fresh and clean taste and didn't linger after I was done eating. The salsa itself was pretty flavorful and went really well with everything! I would absolutely love a spicy version if that's available. The portion sizes for these two were perfect. It was just the right amount for me to use both up. Great tasting pupusas and +1 points for being nearby. Whenever I'm craving pupusas I'll have to come back and order more. Thank you!!

Saturday evening decision. I wanted pupusas. Looked on doordash, and found this place. Bam!L O C A T I O N:now this isn't a sit down or a restaurant at all. this is one of those ghost kitchens. (fun fact: when shelter in place was going on, and i wanted to order food, this location was where i was told to go to. Small world.) A generous amount of parking spots to be found, but finding a way to enter can be a challenge if "turning left" from Washington (double yellow and traffic....not a fun combo)F O O D:I ordered the "grand opening special." which was the chicharron pupusa and the cheese pupusa, and a can of soda. Actually, they were out of the chicharron pupusa, and so i was given more mini-queso pupusas to offset the lack of it. i'll take it. (apparently 200+ pupusas were had today. which is great for them!)Both styles of pupusas were good. The pupusas could have had some cheese on the outside to add to that crunch so many are familiar with. Cheese pull was on point. The shape of the pupusas were all uniform in circle which was interesting since i am used to many circular shapes. it was greasy, but not heavy in any sense. (I wonder if there will be other types of pupusas in the future. ahhem...i love me lorocco pupusas.the curtido was okay. it seemed to not be fully fermented. it had a pinkish hue to it, so maybe red wine vinegar was used? It was more liquid than veggies. I would pass on it next time. S E R V I C E:The food was prepared in a timely manner. When there wasn't an item because it was out, i got a call and an offer and the guy I interacted with was cordial. upon arrival - you need to look for the A-frame sign (on the lift) which had a ring doorbell to call for pick up. i wont be using the catering services any time soon, but maybe i might in the near future should i have an event. Overall, not a bad place to order takeout from.

An independent little spot with great prices and the food is so damn good. I've always supported smaller menus since you get better flavor and appeal and they do it right, I also met the owner who was a joy to talk to and told me all about the spot and his future plans for it while I waited. Without a doubt would recommend time and time again!

I don't think they're doing their $5 grand opening special anymore. Called in our order specifically for the grand opening special and we were charged $7/per order (2 pupusas and soda). Happy to support a small biz, just wish we knew up front.I'm impressed that these could come in mini and bigger sizes. One of mine was small, so they gave me an extra mini. I usually like the chicharron, but got the cheese and pork separately. I definitely prefer the cheese one.This spot is in the back of Planet Fitness. And, despite what it looks like through reviews, they do allow in-person pickup. Ring the bell when you arrive. They're also super responsive on Yelp.

riquisimas, me encantan las pupusas de este lugar,Las mejores pupusas que he comido en mi vida fueron increíblemente deliciosas y auténticas. La combinación perfecta de masa de maíz suave y relleno sabroso, junto con la salsa y curtido tradicionales, crearon una experiencia culinaria inolvidable. Cada bocado estaba lleno de sabor y me transportó a El Salvador, donde se originan estas delicias. Definitivamente, las mejores pupusas que he probado.

Food trucked next to the Standby (great bar, shameless plug) so parking available. Really close to a freeway entrance and grand avenue. Great papusas with some chicken sliders and fries. Great enough on mobile order to tell you when things run out, enough for 5 stars from me.

We ordered a sampler to try their pupusa. We got the cheese, chicharon, and birria. All three were good. Definitely will go back to buy more.

My mom and I tried this pupusa place for the first time and it was sooo worth it. The best pupusas we've ever had and we tried their quesabirria pupusas and they were so amazing and worth the price! They come with vegetables and consume already but we didn't kno that and ordered it on the side, and the owner was kind enough to refund the money and give us an extra pupusa as it was our first visit :D will definitely be coming back with such amazing customer service and delicious food. Thank you so much again!!

Found this place on google.Owner was really nice and respectful.Ordered the cheese,Chicharrón,quesabirria pupusas all was deliciousA little mishap did happen with the order but was quick to resolve the issue.Will be coming back again.
