I had the pleasure of utilizing Jin Cafe's space for a late Friendsmas/New Year gathering with my group of friends on a Sunday. They are typically closed to the public. Unfortunately, they had previous catering arrangements so we weren't able to cater through them, although it also wasn't an issue to potluck. For a small fee, we were able to have the space for 4 hours. It was the perfect amount of space and hospitality. One of the owners Jenn was on standby to help with any and everything during our party! She was also very kind enough to set up our space with a nice neutral backdrop and decor that was great for pictures. So thoughtful! New memories made. The ambiance is welcoming, laid back, well-lit, and there was plenty of parking for our party. I would say this was a seamless reservation and we are looking forward to host more parties with The Jin Cafe. They are your one-stop neighborhood business. Hopefully next time we can cater because their Tofu Sisig is LEGIT!

Tell me where you can get a freshly made, good quality Silog (Filipino breakfast) with pleasant sit down seating in the city for $12? ................................Thought so. =)Opening to the public in April 2024 (opened in January 2024 to building tenants only), The Jin Cafe is a unicorn in the city serving delicious, very wallet-friendly Filipino fare made with love. They're located inside the Bayshore Business Center. Be on a lookout for a large red building next to U-Haul. Open for takeout, delivery, and indoor dining. Catering available. I found them on yelp several months ago but my work schedule doesn't align with their hours of operation (only open weekdays 8 am - 3 pm). I heard they recently had a break-in so I wanted to come and support them on my day off. M E N UFilipino-American Cuisine: Silogs, salad, fried chicken sandwiches, and ube pancakes. They also have housemade pastries/desserts: croissant, chicken adobo packer (turnover), peach mango pie, and ube cheesecake. Secret menu available; i.e. Sisig or Tocino Waffle Fries + Loaded Kropek (Filipino prawn crackers). For drinks, they have coffee, iced coffee, milkshakes, and bottled drinks. Nothing is over $12.F O O D* Chicken Adobo Packer ($3?): https://tinyurl.com/238axapyShatteringly crispy with light + flaky layers, the turnover was filled with shredded chicken with whole peppercorns. Subtle vinegar flavor. I'm usually not a white chicken person but in this case, it works well. Dark meat would otherwise make this turnover too heavy. * Lumpia (5 pc - $5)Freshly fried, the lumpia was solid and a good size. Rolled nice and tight, and filled with a well-seasoned, juicy pork filling. Served with sweet chili dipping sauce. * Tocilog: Sweet Marinated Pork w/ garlic rice, fried eggs ($12): https://tinyurl.com/5yt5teczBest silog I've had so far (for my personal taste preferences of not too salty and not heavy)...The tocino was thick and tender, savory and sweet with deliciously caramelized edges. Served over a bed of flavorful rice with flecks of toasted garlic, two over-easy eggs with oozy yolks, and tangy atchara (pickled papaya + carrots). Gotta drizzle some of that spiced vinegar all over for an acidic punch. The silogs are packed in a shallow bowl so it may not be a lot of food but it's all about quality over quantity. S E R V I C EWelcoming and gracious Pinoy hospitality. My takeout order was ready in less than 10 minutes. A M B I A N C ELow-key cafe with seven tables and three booths. Cozy and clean. Free WiFi. P A R K I N GFree parking in the business center lot. There's also ample metered parking outside. Overall, The Jin Cafe exceeded my expectations and IMHO, their Filipino food rivals places in Daly City, SSF, and San Bruno. Hope they're able to open a brick and mortar one day. If you're in Portola, Silver Terrace, Bayview, or Vis Valley area or passing through on 101 on a weekday, give this humble, under the radar small business a try for their delicious Filipino food.

A small spot in an office building serving filipino food. The workers there were really friendly and nice, great service! The food was decent and a great deal for the price honestly. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

The Jin Cafe is the newest Filipino restaurant/cafe in San Francisco with lots of options! I noticed there are only so many Filipino restaurants in SF, and was pleasantly surprised to hear a new one opened up!Serving Filipino breakfast classics and new takes on familiar dishes it was hard to choose what to try! This area has plenty of parking space, but it is a little hidden initially, the building has two entrances, if you're facing the building from the parking lot you'll go to the entrance to the right side to get to the cafe. Staff was friendly to everyone who came by. I loved that they played Filipino music. What I ordered:Ube Pancakes Tofu Sisig with garlic riceAdobo slider with fries Pistachio Iced CoffeeAll were delicious! Made to order and fresh off the grill. It was hard to choose just one, I really enjoyed the tofu sisig and garlic rice. It was flavorful! My friend had the ube pancakes, I couldn't try it but it looked so good! I really liked the adobo slider and loved that they used a pandesal bun to hold the chicken adobo in. Also plenty of seating and complimentary wifi if you need a spot to study, I also saw at least one outlet. The pricing for food is honestly really amazing especially in San Francisco! You cannot beat it for the quality of food.

I just had their Sisig Waffle fries and it was a lot better than I expected! I don't know if it's on the black and white menu, but I see it on the signs at the cafe near the register. I also tried their Sisig tofu with garlic rice, which definitely hit the spot.

The food menu they offer is absolutely tasty and flavorful. The first Filipino restaurant Cafe in this area gives you favorites like silogs ( 5 different types) .I tried the tapsilog , lumpia and the ube pancakes. All were acceptionally awesome but forget the coffee menu is also flavorful and robust. Will have to come back to try other things on the menu. They're staff Kim and Mary are very helpful and friendly to their customers. I recommend this place highly if your looking for great Filipino food on the area.
